공평에 관한 법

1너는 거짓된 풍설을 퍼뜨리지 말며 악인과 연합하여 위증하는 증인이 되지 말며 Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
2다수를 따라 악을 행하지 말며 송사에 다수를 따라 부당한 증언을 하지 말며 Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:
3가난한 자의 송사라고 해서 편벽되이 두둔하지 말지니라 Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.
4네가 만일 네 원수의 길 잃은 소나 나귀를 보거든 반드시 그 사람에게로 돌릴지며 If thou meet thine enemy’s ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.
5네가 만일 너를 미워하는 자의 나귀가 짐을 싣고 엎드러짐을 보거든 그것을 버려두지 말고 그것을 도와 그 짐을 부릴지니라 If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.
6너는 가난한 자의 송사라고 정의를 굽게 하지 말며 Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor in his cause.
7거짓 일을 멀리 하며 무죄한 자와 의로운 자를 죽이지 말라 나는 악인을 의롭다 하지 아니하겠노라 Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.
8너는 뇌물을 받지 말라 뇌물은 밝은 자의 눈을 어둡게 하고 의로운 자의 말을 굽게 하느니라 And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.
9너는 이방 나그네를 압제하지 말라 너희가 애굽 땅에서 나그네 되었었은즉 나그네의 사정을 아느니라 Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

안식년과 안식일에 관한 법

10너는 여섯 해 동안은 너의 땅에 파종하여 그 소산을 거두고 And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof:
11일곱째 해에는 갈지 말고 묵혀두어서 네 백성의 가난한 자들이 먹게 하라 그 남은 것은 들짐승이 먹으리라 네 포도원과 감람원도 그리할지니라 But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.
12너는 엿새 동안에 네 일을 하고 일곱째 날에는 쉬라 네 소와 나귀가 쉴 것이며 네 여종의 자식과 나그네가 숨을 돌리리라 Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.
13내가 네게 이른 모든 일을 삼가 지키고 다른 신들의 이름은 부르지도 말며 네 입에서 들리게도 하지 말지니라 And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

세 가지 절기에 관한 법(출 34:18-26; 신 16:1-17)

14너는 매년 세 번 내게 절기를 지킬지니라 Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.
15너는 무교병의 절기를 지키라 내가 네게 명령한 대로 아빕월의 정한 때에 이레 동안 무교병을 먹을지니 이는 그 달에 네가 애굽에서 나왔음이라 빈 손으로 내 앞에 나오지 말지니라 Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)
16맥추절을 지키라 이는 네가 수고하여 밭에 뿌린 것의 첫 열매를 거둠이니라 수장절을 지키라 이는 네가 수고하여 이룬 것을 연말에 밭에서부터 거두어 저장함이니라 And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.
17네 모든 남자는 매년 세 번씩 주 여호와께 보일지니라 Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD .
18너는 네 제물의 피를 유교병과 함께 드리지 말며 내 절기 제물의 기름을 아침까지 남겨두지 말지니라 Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my sacrifice remain until the morning.
19네 토지에서 처음 거둔 열매의 가장 좋은 것을 가져다가 너의 하나님 여호와의 전에 드릴지니라 너는 염소 새끼를 그 어미의 젖으로 삶지 말지니라 The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk.

명령과 약속

20내가 사자를 네 앞서 보내어 길에서 너를 보호하여 너를 내가 예비한 곳에 이르게 하리니 Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.
21너희는 삼가 그의 목소리를 청종하고 그를 노엽게 하지 말라 그가 너희의 허물을 용서하지 아니할 것은 내 이름이 그에게 있음이니라 Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.
22네가 그의 목소리를 잘 청종하고 내 모든 말대로 행하면 내가 네 원수에게 원수가 되고 네 대적에게 대적이 될지라 But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
23내 사자가 네 앞서 가서 너를 아모리 사람과 헷 사람과 브리스 사람과 가나안 사람과 히위 사람과 여부스 사람에게로 인도하고 나는 그들을 끊으리니 For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.
24너는 그들의 신을 경배하지 말며 섬기지 말며 그들의 행위를 본받지 말고 그것들을 다 깨뜨리며 그들의 주상을 부수고 Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
25네 하나님 여호와를 섬기라 그리하면 여호와가 너희의 양식과 물에 복을 내리고 너희 중에서 병을 제하리니 And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
26네 나라에 낙태하는 자가 없고 임신하지 못하는 자가 없을 것이라 내가 너의 날 수를 채우리라 There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.
27내가 내 위엄을 네 앞서 보내어 네가 이를 곳의 모든 백성을 물리치고 네 모든 원수들이 네게 등을 돌려 도망하게 할 것이며 I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.
28내가 왕벌을 네 앞에 보내리니 그 벌이 히위 족속과 가나안 족속과 헷 족속을 네 앞에서 쫓아내리라 And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.
29그러나 그 땅이 황폐하게 됨으로 들짐승이 번성하여 너희를 해할까 하여 일 년 안에는 그들을 네 앞에서 쫓아내지 아니하고 I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee.
30네가 번성하여 그 땅을 기업으로 얻을 때까지 내가 그들을 네 앞에서 조금씩 쫓아내리라 By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.
31내가 네 경계를 홍해에서부터 블레셋 바다까지, 광야에서부터 강까지 정하고 그 땅의 주민을 네 손에 넘기리니 네가 그들을 네 앞에서 쫓아낼지라 And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.
32너는 그들과 그들의 신들과 언약하지 말라 Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.
33그들이 네 땅에 머무르지 못할 것은 그들이 너를 내게 범죄하게 할까 두려움이라 네가 그 신들을 섬기면 그것이 너의 올무가 되리라 They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.
