고핫 자손의 임무
2레위 자손 중에서 고핫 자손을 그들의 가족과 종족을 따라 총계할찌니 Take the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, after their families, by the house of their fathers,
3곧 삼십세 이상으로 오십세까지 회막의 일을 하기 위하여 그 역사에 참가할만한 모든 자를 계수하라 From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
4고핫 자손이 회막 안 지성물에 대하여 할 일은 이러하니라 This shall be the service of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation, about the most holy things:
5행진할 때에 아론과 그 아들들이 들어가서 간 막는 장을 걷어 증거궤를 덮고 And when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of testimony with it:
6그 위에 해달의 가죽으로 덮고 그 위에 순청색 보자기를 덮은 후에 그 채를 꿰고 And shall put thereon the covering of badgers’ skins, and shall spread over it a cloth wholly of blue, and shall put in the staves thereof.
7또 진설병의 상에 청색 보자기를 펴고 대접들과 숟가락들과 주발들과 붓는 잔들을 그 위에 두고 또 항상 진설하는 떡을 그 위에 두고 And upon the table of shewbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover withal: and the continual bread shall be thereon:
8홍색 보자기를 그 위에 펴고 그것을 해달의 가죽 덮개로 덮은 후에 그 채를 꿰고 And they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put in the staves thereof.
9또 청색 보자기를 취하여 등대와 그 등잔들과 그 불집게들과 불똥 그릇들과 그 쓰는바 모든 기름 그릇을 덮고 And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:
10등대와 그 모든 기구를 해달의 가죽 덮개 안에 넣어 메는 틀 위에 두고 And they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put it upon a bar.
11또 금단 위에 청색 보자기를 펴고 해달의 가죽 덮개로 덮고 그 채를 꿰고 And upon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put to the staves thereof:
12또 성소에서 봉사하는데 쓰는 모든 기명을 취하여 청색 보자기에 싸서 해달의 가죽 덮개로 덮어 메는 틀 위에 두고 And they shall take all the instruments of ministry, wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put them on a bar:
13또 단의 재를 버리고 그 단 위에 자색 보자기를 펴고 And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon:
14봉사하는데 쓰는 모든 기구 곧 불 옮기는 그릇들과 고기 갈고리들과 부삽들과 대야들과 단의 모든 기구를 두고 해달의 가죽 덮개를 그 위에 덮고 그 채를 꿸 것이며 And they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister about it, even the censers, the fleshhooks, and the shovels, and the basons, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers’ skins, and put to the staves of it.
15행진할 때에 아론과 그 아들들이 성소와 성소의 모든 기구 덮기를 필하거든 고핫 자손이 와서 멜 것이니라 그러나 성물은 만지지 말찌니 죽을까 하노라 회막 물건 중에서 이것들은 고핫 자손이 멜 것이며 And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.
16제사장 아론의 아들 엘르아살의 맡을 것은 등유와 분향할 향품과 항상 드리는 소제물과 관유며 또 장막의 전체와 그 중에 있는 모든 것과 성소와 그 모든 기구니라 And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest pertaineth the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil, and the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is , in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof.
18너희는 고핫 족속의 지파를 레위인 중에서 끊어지게 말찌니 Cut ye not off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites:
19그들이 지성물에 접근할 때에 그 생명을 보존하고 죽지 않게 하기 위하여 너희는 이같이 하여 아론과 그 아들들이 들어가서 각 사람에게 그 할 일과 그 멜 것을 지휘할찌니라 But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:
20그들은 잠시라도 들어가서 성소를 보지 말 것은 죽을까 함이니라 But they shall not go in to see when the holy things are covered, lest they die.
게르손 자손의 임무
22게르손 자손도 그 종족과 가족을 따라 총계하되 Take also the sum of the sons of Gershon, throughout the houses of their fathers, by their families;
23삼십세 이상으로 오십세까지 회막 봉사에 입참하여 일할만한 모든 자를 계수하라 From thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to perform the service, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
24게르손 가족의 할 일과 멜 것은 이러하니 This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, to serve, and for burdens:
25곧 그들을 성막의 앙장들과 회막과 그 덮개와 그 위의 해달의 가죽 덮개와 회막 문장을 메이며 And they shall bear the curtains of the tabernacle, and the tabernacle of the congregation, his covering, and the covering of the badgers’ skins that is above upon it, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
26뜰의 휘장과 및 성막과 단 사면에 있는 뜰의 문장과 그 줄들과 그것에 사용하는 모든 기구를 메이며 이 모든 것을 어떻게 맡아 처리할 것이라 And the hangings of the court, and the hanging for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and all that is made for them: so shall they serve.
27게르손 자손은 그 모든 일 곧 멜 것과 처리할 것에 아론과 그 아들들의 명대로 할 것이니 너희는 그들의 멜 짐을 그들에게 맡길 것이니라 At the appointment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burdens, and in all their service: and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burdens.
28게르손 자손의 가족들이 회막에서 할 일이 이러하며 그들의 직무는 제사장 아론의 아들 이다말이 감독할찌니라 This is the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
므라리 자손의 임무
29너는 므라리 자손도 그 가족과 종족을 따라 계수하되 As for the sons of Merari, thou shalt number them after their families, by the house of their fathers;
30삼십세 이상으로 오십세까지 회막 봉사에 입참하여 일할만한 모든 자를 계수하라 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shalt thou number them, every one that entereth into the service, to do the work of the tabernacle of the congregation.
31그들이 직무를 따라 회막에서 할 모든 일 곧 그 멜 것이 이러하니 곧 장막의 널판들과 그 띠들과 그 기둥들과 그 받침들과 And this is the charge of their burden, according to all their service in the tabernacle of the congregation; the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and sockets thereof,
32뜰 사면 기둥들과 그 받침들과 그 말뚝들과 그 줄들과 그 모든 기구들과 무릇 그것에 쓰는 것이라 너희는 그들의 맡아 멜 모든 기구의 명목을 지정하라 And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by name ye shall reckon the instruments of the charge of their burden.
33이는 제사장 아론의 아들 이다말의 수하에 있을 므라리 자손의 가족들이 그 모든 사무대로 회막에서 행할 일이니라 This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the tabernacle of the congregation, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.

34모세와 아론과 회중의 족장들이 고핫 자손들을 그 가족과 종족대로 계수하니 And Moses and Aaron and the chief of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites after their families, and after the house of their fathers,
35삼십세 이상으로 오십세까지 회막 봉사에 입참하여 일할만한 모든 자 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation:
36곧 그 가족대로 계수함을 입은 자가 이천 칠백 오십이니 And those that were numbered of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred and fifty.
37이는 모세와 아론이 여호와께서 모세로 명하신대로 회막에서 종사하는 고핫인의 모든 가족 중 계수한 자니라 These were they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, which Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
38게르손 자손의 그 가족과 종족을 따라 계수함을 입은 자는 And those that were numbered of the sons of Gershon, throughout their families, and by the house of their fathers,
39삼십세 이상으로 오십세까지 회막 봉사에 입참하여 일할만한 모든 자라 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,
40그 가족과 종족을 따라 계수함을 입은 자가 이천 육백 삼십명이니 Even those that were numbered of them, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers, were two thousand and six hundred and thirty.
41이는 모세와 아론이 여호와의 명대로 회막에서 종사하는 게르손 자손의 모든 가족 중 계수한 자니라 These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, of all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, whom Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD .
42므라리 자손의 가족 중 그 가족과 종족을 따라 계수함을 입은 자는 And those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers,
43삼십세 이상으로 오십세까지 회막 봉사에 입참하여 일할만한 모든 자라 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,
44그 가족을 따라 계수함을 입은 자가 삼천 이백명이니 Even those that were numbered of them after their families, were three thousand and two hundred.
45이는 모세와 아론이 여호와께서 모세로 명하신대로 므라리 자손들의 가족 중 계수한 자니라 These be those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
46모세와 아론과 이스라엘 족장들이 레위인을 그 가족과 종족대로 다 계수하니 All those that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the chief of Israel numbered, after their families, and after the house of their fathers,
47삼십세 이상으로 오십세까지 회막 봉사와 메는 일에 입참하여 일할만한 모든 자 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that came to do the service of the ministry, and the service of the burden in the tabernacle of the congregation,
48곧 그 계수함을 입은 자가 팔천 오백 팔십명이라 Even those that were numbered of them, were eight thousand and five hundred and fourscore.
49그들이 그 할 일과 멜 일을 따라 모세에게 계수함을 입었으되 여호와께서 모세에게 명하신대로 그들이 계수함을 입었더라 According to the commandment of the LORD they were numbered by the hand of Moses, every one according to his service, and according to his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as the LORD commanded Moses.
