절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	여호와께서 고르신 곳에서 제사드리십시오 “여호와 그대 조상들의 하나님이 그대에게 주어 차지하게 하실 땅에서 그대들이 지키고 실행할 규정들과 법령들은 이러합니다. 그대들이 그 땅에서 살 때 평생 지킬 것들입니다.	These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the Lord God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth.
2	그대들이 쫓아낼 민족들, 그들이 자기 신들을 섬기는 곳은 반드시 모조리 망가뜨리도록 하십시오. 높은 산 위이든 언덕 위이든 울창한 나무 아래이든지요.	Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree:
3	그들의 제단은 무너뜨리고, 돌기둥은 깨뜨리도록 하십시오. 아세라 말뚝은 불에 태우고, 신상은 조각내 버리고요. 그래서 그들의 이름을 그곳에서 없애 버리도록 하십시오.	And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.
4	여호와 그대들의 하나님께는 그렇게 하지 마십시오.	Ye shall not do so unto the Lord your God.
5	그대들은 여호와 그대들의 하나님이 그대들의 모든 지파 가운데서 골라 주시는 곳으로 가도록 하십시오. 자신의 이름을 두어 자신이 머무실 곳으로 골라 주시는 곳으로요.	But unto the place which the Lord your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come:
6	그대들의 다태우는제물(번제물)과 희생제물을 그리로 가져가도록 하십시오. 십일조와 손으로 올리는 높이드는제물(거제물)도요. 단단히 한 약속에 따라서 바치는 제물과 마음에서 우러나 바치는 제물, 처음 태어난 송아지와 새끼 양도요.	And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks:
7	거기 여호와 그대들의 하나님 앞에서 제물을 먹도록 하십시오. 그리고 그대들이 손대어 얻은 모든 것을 두고 집안사람들과 함께 즐거워하도록 하십시오. 여호와 그대의 하나님이 그대에게 복 주신 것이니까요.	And there ye shall eat before the Lord your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the Lord thy God hath blessed thee.
8	그대들은 오늘 여기서 우리가 하는 것처럼은 하지 마십시오. 우리는 저마다 스스로 올바르다고 여기는 대로 하고 있으니까요.	Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.
9	그대들은 아직 여호와 그대의 하나님이 그대가 편히 쉬도록 나누어 주시는 땅에 들어가지 못했기 때문입니다.	For ye are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which the Lord your God giveth you.
10	그러나 그대들은 요르단을 건너가서, 여호와 그대들의 하나님이 그대들에게 나누어 주실 땅에서 살게 될 것입니다. 여호와께서 그대들을 사방의 모든 원수들에게서 벗어나 편히 쉬게 해 주실 것입니다. 그대들은 안전하게 살 것입니다.	But when ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the land which the Lord your God giveth you to inherit, and when he giveth you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety;
11	그때 여호와 그대들의 하나님이 자신의 이름을 머물게 하려고 골라 주시는 곳이 있을 것입니다. 그리로 그대들은 가져가도록 하십시오, 내가 그대들에게 명령한 모든 것을. 곧 다태우는제물(번제물)과 희생제물과 십일조와 손으로 올리는 높이드는제물(거제물)을요. 또 그대들이 여호와께 단단히 한 약속에 따라 바치는 제물 가운데서 가장 좋은 것 전부를요.	Then there shall be a place which the Lord your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the Lord:
12	그리고 여호와 그대들의 하나님 앞에서 그대들, 그대들의 아들들과 딸들, 남자 노예들과 여자 노예들은 함께 즐거워하도록 하십시오. 그대들의 성문 안에 사는 레위 사람도 함께요. 그에게는 그대들과 함께 나누어 받을 몫의 땅이 없으니까요.	And ye shall rejoice before the Lord your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your menservants, and your maidservants, and the Levite that is within your gates; forasmuch as he hath no part nor inheritance with you.
13	그대는 조심하여, 다태우는제물(번제물)을 그대 눈에 보이는 아무 곳에서나 드리지 않도록 하십시오.	Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest:
14	그대의 지파들 가운데 한 지파에서 여호와께서 골라 주시는 곳, 거기에서만 그대가 다태우는제물(번제물)을 드리도록 하십시오. 내가 그대에게 명령하는 모든 일을 거기서 하도록 하십시오.	But in the place which the Lord shall choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, and there thou shalt do all that I command thee.
15	다만 그대가 꼭 하고 싶을 때에는 희생제물을 잡아 그대의 성문 안에서 고기를 먹을 수 있습니다. 여호와 그대의 하나님이 그대에게 주신 복을 따라서요. 깨끗하지 않은 사람이든 깨끗한 사람이든 먹을 수 있습니다. 가젤이나 사슴을 먹듯이요.	Notwithstanding thou mayest kill and eat flesh in all thy gates, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, according to the blessing of the Lord thy God which he hath given thee: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the roebuck, and as of the hart.
16	피만큼은 먹지 말고 물처럼 땅에 쏟도록 하십시오.	Only ye shall not eat the blood; ye shall pour it upon the earth as water.
17	그러나 곡식과 포도주와 기름의 십일조는 그대의 성문 안에서 먹지 마십시오. 처음 태어난 송아지나 새끼 양도요. 그대가 단단히 한 약속을 따라 바치거나 마음에서 우러나 바치는 제물과 손으로 올리는 높이드는제물(거제물)도요.	Thou mayest not eat within thy gates the tithe of thy corn, or of thy wine, or of thy oil, or the firstlings of thy herds or of thy flock, nor any of thy vows which thou vowest, nor thy freewill offerings, or heave offering of thine hand:
18	여호와 그대의 하나님 앞에서 먹도록 하십시오. 여호와 그대의 하나님이 골라 주시는 곳에서요. 그대, 그대의 아들과 딸, 남자 노예와 여자 노예, 성문 안에 있는 레위 사람이 함께요. 또 그대의 손으로 얻은 모든 것을 두고 여호와 그대들의 하나님 앞에서 즐거워하도록 하십시오.	But thou must eat them before the Lord thy God in the place which the Lord thy God shall choose, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates: and thou shalt rejoice before the Lord thy God in all that thou puttest thine hands unto.
19	그대는 레위 사람을 버려두지 않도록 조심하십시오. 그대 사는 땅에서 평생 동안요.	Take heed to thyself that thou forsake not the Levite as long as thou livest upon the earth.
20	여호와 그대의 하나님이 그대에게 말씀하신 대로 그대의 땅 경계를 넓혀 주실 것입니다. 그때 고기가 먹고 싶어서 그대에게 ‘내가 고기를 먹어야겠다.’ 하는 생각이 들 수 있습니다. 그러면 먹고 싶은 대로 고기를 먹을 수 있습니다.	When the Lord thy God shall enlarge thy border, as he hath promised thee, and thou shalt say, I will eat flesh, because thy soul longeth to eat flesh; thou mayest eat flesh, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.
21	여호와 그대의 하나님이 자신의 이름을 두려고 골라 주시는 곳이 그대에게서 멀리 있다고 합시다. 그러면 여호와께서 그대에게 주신 소나 양을 내가 그대에게 알려 주는 대로 잡아 죽이도록 하십시오. 그러고는 그대의 성문 안에서 그대가 먹고 싶은 대로 먹도록 하십시오.	If the place which the Lord thy God hath chosen to put his name there be too far from thee, then thou shalt kill of thy herd and of thy flock, which the Lord hath given thee, as I have commanded thee, and thou shalt eat in thy gates whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.
22	가젤이나 사슴을 먹을 때와 똑같이요. 깨끗하지 않은 사람이든 깨끗한 사람이든 다 함께 먹도록 하십시오.	Even as the roebuck and the hart is eaten, so thou shalt eat them: the unclean and the clean shall eat of them alike.
23	마음을 강하게 하고서 피만은 먹지 마십시오. 피는 목숨이니까요. 목숨을 고기와 함께 먹지 마십시오.	Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh.
24	피는 먹지 말고 땅 위에 물처럼 쏟아 버리도록 하십시오.	Thou shalt not eat it; thou shalt pour it upon the earth as water.
25	피는 먹지 마십시오. 그러면 그대와 그대 뒤를 이을 아들딸이 잘될 것입니다. 여호와께서 보시기에 올바른 일을 그대가 한 것이니까요.	Thou shalt not eat it; that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the Lord.
26	그대에게 있는 거룩한 제물과 단단히 약속한 제물만은 여호와께서 골라 주시는 곳으로 들고 가도록 하십시오.	Only thy holy things which thou hast, and thy vows, thou shalt take, and go unto the place which the Lord shall choose:
27	다태우는제물(번제물)의 고기와 피는 여호와 그대의 하나님의 제단 위에 올리고요. 그대가 올린 희생제물의 피는 여호와 그대의 하나님의 제단 위에 쏟고, 그대는 그 고기만 먹도록 하십시오.	And thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar of the Lord thy God: and the blood of thy sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of the Lord thy God, and thou shalt eat the flesh.
28	내가 그대에게 명령하는 이 모든 말씀을 반드시 지키십시오. 그러면 그대와 그대 뒤를 이을 아들딸이 영원에 이르도록 잘될 것입니다. 여호와 그대의 하나님 보시기에 좋고 올바른 일을 그대가 한 것이기 때문입니다.”	Observe and hear all these words which I command thee, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee for ever, when thou doest that which is good and right in the sight of the Lord thy God.
29	다른 신들을 섬기지 마십시오 “여호와 그대의 하나님이 민족들을 없애 주실 것입니다. 그대가 들어가서 그대 앞에서 몰아내려는 민족들을요. 그대가 그들의 땅을 차지하고 거기서 살게 될 것입니다.	When the Lord thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land;
30	그대는 조심하십시오. 그들이 그대 앞에서 망한 뒤에, 그대가 덫에 걸려 그들을 뒤따르는 일이 없도록 하십시오. ‘이 민족들이 자기 신들을 어떻게 섬기는가? 나도 그렇게 해야겠다!’ 하고 말하면서, 그대가 그들의 신들을 찾는 일이 없도록 하십시오.	Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.
31	여호와 그대의 하나님께는 그렇게 하지 마십시오. 그들이 그들의 신들에게 하는 짓마다 여호와께 역겨운 것이기 때문입니다. 여호와께서는 그런 짓을 싫어하십니다. 그들은 그들의 아들들과 딸들을 불태워 그들의 신들에게 바치기까지 합니다.	Thou shalt not do so unto the Lord thy God: for every abomination to the Lord, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.
32	내가 그대들에게 명령하는 말씀은 무엇이든 그대들이 지키고 실행하도록 하십시오. 거기에 덧붙이지도 말고, 거기에서 무엇을 빠뜨리지도 마십시오.”	What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
