| 3 | Tamin’ ny andro fahoriako no nitadiavako ny Tompo; ny tanako nasandratra nony alina ka tsy vizana; ny fanahiko tsy nety nampiononina. | I remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah. |

| 8 | Hanary mandrakizay va ny Tompo? Tsy hankasitraka intsony va Izy? | Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore? |
| 9 | Efa nitsahatra mandrakizay va ny famindram-pony? Efa tapitra mandrakizay va ny teniny? | Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah. |
| 10 | Efa nanadino hamindra fo va Andriamanitra? Efa nohidiany an-katezerana va ny fiantràny? [Sela.] | And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High. |

| 15 | Hianao no Andriamanitra Izay manao fahagagana; efa nampahalala ny herinao teny amin’ ny firenena Hianao. | Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah. |
| 16 | Navotan’ ny sandrinao ny olonao, dia ny taranak’ i Jakoba sy Josefa. [Sela.] | The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled. |
