절	Good News Translation (1992)	King James Version
1	God's Chosen King Why do the nations plan rebellion? Why do people make their useless plots?	Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2	Their kings revolt, their rulers plot together against the Lord and against the king he chose.	The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,
3	“Let us free ourselves from their rule,” they say; “let us throw off their control.”	Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4	From his throne in heaven the Lord laughs and mocks their feeble plans.	He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5	Then he warns them in anger and terrifies them with his fury.	Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6	“On Zion, my sacred hill,” he says, “I have installed my king.”	Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7	“I will announce,” says the king, “what the Lord has declared. He said to me: ‘You are my son; today I have become your father.	I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8	Ask, and I will give you all the nations; the whole earth will be yours.	Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9	You will break them with an iron rod; you will shatter them in pieces like a clay pot.’”	Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
10	Now listen to this warning, you kings; learn this lesson, you rulers of the world:	Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11	Serve the Lord with fear; tremble	Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12	and bow down to him; or else his anger will be quickly aroused, and you will suddenly die. Happy are all who go to him for protection.	Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
