| 1 | 約拿 在魚 腹中 禱告 耶和華─他的 神， | Then Jonah prayed unto the Lord his God out of the fish’s belly, |
| 2 | 說：我 遭遇患難 求告 耶和華，你就應允我；從陰間 的深處 呼求，你就俯聽 我的聲音。 | And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the Lord, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice. |
| 3 | 你將我投 下深淵，就是海 的深處；大水 環繞我，你的波浪 洪濤 都 漫過 我身。 | For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me. |
| 4 | 我 說：我從你眼 前 雖被驅逐， 我仍要 仰望 你的聖 殿。 | Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple. |
| 5 | 諸水 環繞我，幾乎淹沒我；深淵 圍住我；海草 纏繞 我的頭。 | The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head. |
| 6 | 我下到 山 根，地 的門 將我永遠 關住。耶和華─我的 神啊，你卻將我的性命 從坑中 救出來。 | I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O Lord my God. |
| 7 | 我心 在我裡面 發昏的時候，我就想念 耶和華。我的禱告 進 入 你的聖 殿，達到你的面前。 | When my soul fainted within me I remembered the Lord: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple. |
| 8 | 那信奉 虛無之神的人，離棄 憐愛他們的主； | They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy. |
| 9 | 但我 必用感謝 的聲音 獻祭 與你。我所 許的願，我必償還。救恩 出於耶和華。 | But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord. |
| 10 | 耶和華 吩咐 魚，魚就把 約拿 吐 在 旱地上。 | And the Lord spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land. |
