| 2 | Notum fecit Dominus salutare suum ; in conspectu gentium revelavit justitiam suam. | Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne. |
| 3 | Recordatus est misericordiæ suæ, et veritatis suæ domui Israël. Viderunt omnes termini terræ salutare Dei nostri. | A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about. |
