Psalmus ipsi David. Dominus regnavit : irascantur populi ; qui sedet super cherubim : moveatur terra. | O sing unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
Dominus in Sion magnus, et excelsus super omnes populos. | The Lord hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.
Confiteantur nomini tuo magno, quoniam terribile et sanctum est, | He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
et honor regis judicium diligit. Tu parasti directiones ; judicium et justitiam in Jacob tu fecisti. | Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
Exaltate Dominum Deum nostrum, et adorate scabellum pedum ejus, quoniam sanctum est. | Sing unto the Lord with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.
Moyses et Aaron in sacerdotibus ejus, et Samuel inter eos qui invocant nomen ejus : invocabant Dominum, et ipse exaudiebat eos ; | With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King.
in columna nubis loquebatur ad eos. Custodiebant testimonia ejus, et præceptum quod dedit illis. | Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
Domine Deus noster, tu exaudiebas eos ; Deus, tu propitius fuisti eis, et ulciscens in omnes adinventiones eorum. | Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together
Exaltate Dominum Deum nostrum, et adorate in monte sancto ejus, quoniam sanctus Dominus Deus noster. | Before the Lord; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.
