| 2 | Nubes et caligo in circuitu ejus ; justitia et judicium correctio sedis ejus. | Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day. |
| 3 | Ignis ante ipsum præcedet, et inflammabit in circuitu inimicos ejus. | Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people. |
| 4 | Illuxerunt fulgura ejus orbi terræ ; vidit, et commota est terra. | For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods. |
| 5 | Montes sicut cera fluxerunt a facie Domini ; a facie Domini omnis terra. | For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens. |
| 6 | Annuntiaverunt cæli justitiam ejus, et viderunt omnes populi gloriam ejus. | Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. |
