1	—	Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.
2	in finem filiis Core psalmus Audite haec omnes gentes auribus percipite omnes qui habitatis orbem	Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.
3	quique terriginae et filii hominum in unum dives et pauper	God is known in her palaces for a refuge.
4	os meum loquetur sapientiam et meditatio cordis mei prudentiam	For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.
5	inclinabo in parabolam aurem meam aperiam in psalterio propositionem meam	They saw it, and so they marvelled; they were troubled, and hasted away.
6	cur timebo in die malo iniquitas calcanei mei circumdabit me	Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.
7	qui confidunt in virtute sua et in multitudine divitiarum suarum gloriantur	Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.
8	frater non redimit redimet homo non dabit Deo placationem suam	As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the Lord of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah.
9	et pretium redemptionis animae suae et laboravit in aeternum	We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.
10	et vivet ※adhuc: in finem	According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.
11	non videbit interitum cum viderit sapientes morientes simul insipiens et stultus peribunt et relinquent alienis divitias suas	Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.
12	÷et: sepulchra eorum domus illorum in aeternum tabernacula eorum in progeniem et progeniem vocaverunt nomina sua in terris suis	Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.
13	et homo cum in honore esset non intellexit conparatus est iumentis insipientibus et similis factus est illis	Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following.
14	haec via illorum scandalum ipsis et postea in ore suo conplacebunt diapsalma	For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.
15	sicut oves in inferno positi sunt mors depascet eos et dominabuntur eorum iusti in matutino et auxilium eorum veterescet in inferno a gloria eorum	—
