Na laik bilong en bai stap long yu, na yu bai bosim em. | If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. |

Long dispela graun bai yu stap man bilong ranawe na rabisman i bilong raun nating. | When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth. |
| 13 | ¶ Na Ken i tokim BIKPELA, Mekim save bilong mi em bikpela moa long mi ken karim. | And Cain said unto the Lord, My punishment is greater than I can bear. |

And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him. |

Na em i wokim wanpela biktaun, na kolim nem bilong dispela biktaun, i bihainim nem bilong pikinini man bilong en, Inok. | And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch. |

| 22 | Na Sila, em tu i karim Tubal-ken, wanpela man bilong skulim olgeta wan wan man i wokim samting long bras na ain. Na susa bilong Tubal-ken em Neama. | And Zillah, she also bare Tubal–cain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubal–cain was Naamah. |
| 23 | ¶ Na Lamek i tokim tupela meri bilong em, Eda na Sila, Harim nek bilong mi, Yutupela meri bilong Lamek, harim gut toktok bilong mi. Long wanem, mi bin kilim i dai wanpela man inap long bagarap bilong mi, na wanpela yangpela man inap long pen bilong mi. | And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt. |

Long wanem, God, em i tok, i bin makim narapela pikinini long mi bilong kisim ples bilong Ebel, husat Ken i kilim i dai. | And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew. |
