Na taim em i lukim ol, em i lusim dua bilong haus sel na ran bilong bungim ol, na lindaunim em yet i go long graun, | And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, |
| 3 | Na tok, Bikpela bilong mi, sapos nau mi bin painim pinis amamas long ai bilong Yu, mi askim Yu plis, Yu no ken lusim wokboi bilong Yu. | And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant: |
| 4 | Larim mi go kisim liklik wara, mi askim yupela plis, na wasim ol lek bilong yupela, na yupela i ken malolo aninit long diwai. | Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree: |
| 5 | Na mi bai go kisim wanpela hap bret, na yupela i ken givim bel isi long ol bel bilong yupela. Bihain long dispela yupela i bai lusim hia. Long wanem, olsem na yupela i kam long wokboi bilong yupela. Na ol i tok, Mekim olsem, olsem yu bin tok. | And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said. |

Na em i sanap klostu long ol aninit long diwai, na ol i bin kaikai. | And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat. |
| 9 | ¶ Na ol i tokim em, Meri bilong yu Sara i stap we? Na em i tok, Lukim, insait long haus sel. | And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent. |

Na Sara i harim dispela insait long dua bilong haus sel, dispela i stap baksait bilong Em. | And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him. |

At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. |

| 16 | ¶ Na ol man i kirap long dispela hap, na lukluk i go long Sodom. Na Ebraham i go wantaim ol bilong bringim ol i go long rot. | And the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way. |
| 17 | Na BIKPELA i tok, Bai Mi haitim long Ebraham dispela samting, dispela Mi mekim, | And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; |
| 18 | Taim yumi luksave long, tru tumas, Ebraham bai kamap wanpela bikpela na strongpela kantri, na olgeta kantri bilong dispela graun bai kisim blesing insait long em ? | Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? |
| 19 | Long wanem, Mi save long em, long em bai tok strong long ol pikinini bilong em na hauslain bilong em bihain long em, inap long ol bai holimpas pasin bilong BIKPELA, bilong mekim stretpela kot na pasin bilong jasim. Inap long BIKPELA i ken bringim antap long Ebraham dispela samting Em i bin toktok long sait bilong em. | For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him. |
| 20 | Na BIKPELA i tok, Bikos krai bilong Sodom na Gomora i bikpela, na bikos sin bilong ol i strongpela tru, | And the Lord said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; |
| 21 | Mi bai go daun nau, na luksave long ol i mekim olgeta samting bilong bihainim krai bilong en, o nogat, dispela i kam long Mi. Na sapos nogat, Mi bai save. | I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know. |
| 22 | Na ol man i tanim ol pes bilong ol bilong lusim dispela ples, na go long Sodom. Tasol Ebraham i sanap yet long ai bilong BIKPELA. | And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the Lord. |
| 23 | ¶ Na Ebraham i go klostu, na tok, Ating Yu bai bagarapim olgeta ol stretpela man wantaim ol man nogut? | And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? |
| 24 | Sapos i gat 50-pela stretpela man insait long dispela biktaun, bai Yu bagarapim dispela ples olgeta tu na Yu no inap larim dispela ples i stap bilong tingim dispela 50-pela stretpela man husat i stap insait long en? | Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein? |
| 25 | Dispela i stap longwe long Yu bilong mekim samting i bihainim dispela kain pasin, bilong kilim i dai ol stretpela man wantaim ol man nogut. Na inap long ol stretpela man i ken stap olsem ol man nogut, dispela i stap longwe long Yu? Ating Jas bilong dispela graun olgeta bai i no inap mekim stretpela pasin? | That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? |
| 26 | Na BIKPELA i tok, Sapos long lukim insait long Sodom 50-pela stretpela man insait long biktaun, orait Mi bai marimari long dispela ples olgeta bilong tingim ol. | And the Lord said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes. |
| 27 | Na Ebraham i bekim na i tok, Lukim nau, mi bin kisim antap bilong mi bilong toktok i go long Bikpela, husat i stap das na sit bilong paia tasol. | And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am but dust and ashes: |
| 28 | Sapos ol dispela bai sot long faipela bilong dispela 50-pela stretpela man, bai Yu bagarapim olgeta olgeta bilong dispela biktaun bikos faipela i sot? Na Em i tok, Sapos Mi lukim 45-pela, Mi bai i no inap bagarapim dispela olgeta. | Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it. |
| 29 | Na Ebraham i toktok i go long Em gen tasol, na tok, Sapos Yu bai lukim 40-pela manmeri long dispela hap. Na Em i tok, Mi bai i no inap mekim dispela bilong tingim 40-pela. | And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty’s sake. |

Na Em i tok, Mi bai i no inap mekim dispela, sapos Mi lukim 30-pela long dispela hap. | And he said unto him, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there. |
| 31 | Na em i tok, Lukim nau, mi bin kisim antap long mi bilong toktok long Bikpela. Sapos Yu lukim 20-pela long dispela hap. Na Em i tok, Mi bai i no inap bagarapim dispela olgeta bilong tingim 20-pela. | And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty’s sake. |
| 32 | Na em i tok, O no ken larim Bikpela i ken kros, na mi bai toktok yet dispela wanpela taim tasol. Sapos Yu lukim tenpela long dispela hap. Na Em i tok, Mi bai i no inap bagarapim dispela olgeta bilong tingim tenpela. | And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten’s sake. |
| 33 | Na BIKPELA i go long rot bilong Em, taim stret long Em i bin lusim pasin bilong toktok poroman wantaim Ebraham. Na Ebraham i go bek long ples bilong en. | And the Lord went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place. |
