Na ol i tok, Nogat. Tasol mipela bai stap long rot olgeta taim bilong nait. | And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant’s house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night. |
| 3 | Na em i strong long tupela. Na ol i tanim i go insait long em, na go insait long haus bilong em. Na em i wokim wanpela bikpela kaikai bilong ol, na kukim bret i no gat yis, na ol i kaikai. | And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat. |
| 4 | ¶ Tasol bipo long tupela i slipim ol yet, ol man bilong dispela biktaun, yes, ol man bilong Sodom, i raunim haus raun nabaut, lapun na yangpela wantaim, olgeta manmeri i kam long olgeta wan wan namba foa hap. | But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: |
| 5 | Na ol i singautim Lot, na tokim em, Tupela man husat i kam insait long yu long dispela nait i stap we? Bringim tupela long mipela, inap long mipela i ken save long tupela. | And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them. |
| 6 | Na Lot i go ausait long dua i go long ol, na pasim dua bihain long em, | And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him, |

Tasol long dispela tupela man yupela i no ken mekim wanpela samting. Long wanem, olsem tasol ol i kam aninit long tewel bilong san bilong rup bilong mi. | Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof. |
| 9 | Na ol i tok, Yu klia. Na ol i tok gen, Dispela wanpela man i kam hia bilong stap waira, na em i laik stap wanpela jas. Nau bai mipela mekim pasin i nogut moa long yu, moa long long ol. Na ol i pas pas tumas antap long dispela man, yes, Lot, na ol i kam klostu bilong brukim dua. | And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door. |
| 10 | Tasol dispela tupela man i putim han bilong ol i go ausait, na pulim Lot i kam long ol insait long haus, na pasim dua. | But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door. |
| 11 | Na ol i paitim ol man husat i stap klostu long dua bilong haus wantaim aipas, man nating na bikman wantaim, inap long ol i hatwokim ol yet bilong painim dua. | And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door. |
| 12 | ¶ Na dispela tupela man i tokim Lot, Yu gat arapela hia tu? Tambu pikinini man, na ol pikinini man bilong yu, na ol pikinini meri bilong yu, na wanem samting yu gat insait long dispela biktaun, bringim ol i kam ausait long dispela ples. | And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place: |
| 13 | Long wanem, mipela bai bagarapim dispela ples, bilong wanem, krai bilong ol i wok long kamap bikpela long pes bilong BIKPELA. Na BIKPELA i bin salim mipela bilong bagarapim dispela. | For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the Lord; and the Lord hath sent us to destroy it. |
| 14 | Na Lot i go ausait, na i toktok long ol tambu pikinini man bilong em, husat i maritim ol pikinini meri bilong em, na tok, Kirap, na yupela go ausait long dispela ples. Long wanem, BIKPELA bai bagarapim dispela biktaun olgeta. Tasol em i luk olsem man i wokim pani long daunim ol long ol tambu pikinini man bilong en. | And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the Lord will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law. |
| 15 | ¶ Na taim moningtaim i kamap, nau tupela ensel i hariapim Lot, i spik, Kirap, kisim meri bilong yu, na tupela pikinini meri bilong yu, husat i stap hia. Nogut yu bagarap olgeta insait long sin nogut bilong dispela biktaun. | And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city. |

Na ol i bringim em ausait, na putim em ausait long dispela biktaun. | And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the Lord being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city. |
| 17 | Na em i kamap olsem, taim ol i bringim ol i kam ausait, long Em i tok, Ranawe bilong lukautim laip bilong yu. No ken lukluk i go baksait long yu, na tu yu no ken stap long olgeta hap bilong ples stret. Ranawe i go long maunten, nogut yu kisim bagarap olgeta. | And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed. |
| 18 | Na Lot i tokim ol, O, i no ken olsem, Bikpela bilong mi. | And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord: |

Na mi no inap ranawe i go long dispela maunten, nogut samting nogut i kisim mi, na mi dai. | Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die: |
| 20 | Lukim nau, dispela biktaun i klostu bilong ranawe i go long en, na em i wanpela liklik biktaun. O, larim mi ranawe i go long hap, (ating em i no wanpela liklik biktaun?) na tewel bilong mi bai stap laip. | Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live. |
