절King Jems Pisin BaibelKing James Version
¶ Lukautim lek bilong yu taim yu go long haus bilong God, na stap redi moa long harim, long givim sakrifais bilong ol krankiman. Long wanem, ol i no tingim na skelim long ol i wokim pasin nogut. Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.
No ken hariap wantaim maus bilong yu, na no ken larim bel bilong yu i hariap long toktok long wanpela samting long ai bilong God. Long wanem, God i stap long heven, na yu stap long dispela graun. Olsem na larim ol toktok bilong yu i no ken planti. Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.
Long wanem, driman i save kamap long planti wok tru. Na ol man i save long nek bilong krankiman long ol planti toktok tru bilong em. For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool’s voice is known by multitude of words.
¶ Taim yu mekim strongpela promis long God, yu no ken wet long baim dispela. Long wanem, Em i no gat amamas long ol krankiman. Yu mas baim dispela strongpela promis yu bin mekim. When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.
Em i mobeta long yu no ken mekim strongpela promis, long yu ken mekim strongpela promis na yu no baim. Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.
No ken larim maus bilong yu i mekim bodi bilong yu long sin. Na tu yu no ken toktok long ai bilong dispela ensel, long em i wanpela rong. Olsem wanem na God i ken belhat long nek bilong yu, na bagarapim wok bilong ol han bilong yu olgeta? Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?
Long wanem, insait long planti driman tru na planti toktok i gat planti kain kain samting nating tu i stap. Tasol yu mas pret long God. For in the multitude of dreams and many words there are also divers vanities: but fear thou God.
Sapos yu lukim pasin bilong givim hevi long ol rabisman, na pasin bilong paulim kot na stretpela kot wantaim pasin pait long wanpela provins, yu no ken kirap nogut long dispela samting. Long wanem, em husat i antap moa long man i antap moa olgeta, em i lukluk gut. Na i gat ol man i stap husat i antap moa long ol. If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.
¶ Na moa tu, helpim bilong dispela graun em i bilong olgeta. King em yet i kisim helpim long bikpela gaden. Moreover the profit of the earth is for all: the king himself is served by the field.
Man husat i laikim tru silva bai i no inap ting em inap tru long silva, o man husat i laikim tru planti samting moa yet long samting i kamap planti moa. Dispela tu em i samting nating. He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.
Taim ol kago i kamap planti moa, namba bilong ol man husat i kaikai long ol i kamap planti moa. Na wanem gutpela samting i kamap long ol papa bilong ol kago, sapos i no long ol i ken lukim ol kago wantaim ol ai bilong ol? When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes?
Slip bilong man bilong hatwok em i switpela, maski sapos em i kaikai liklik o planti. Tasol planti samting moa yet bilong maniman i no inap larim em i slip. The sleep of a labouring man is sweet, whether he eat little or much: but the abundance of the rich will not suffer him to sleep.
I gat wanpela samting nogut i strong tru mi bin lukim aninit long san, em i olsem, ol planti mani samting ol i lukautim bilong bagarapim ol papa bilong en. There is a sore evil which I have seen under the sun, namely, riches kept for the owners thereof to their hurt.
Tasol ol dispela planti mani samting i lus long hatwok nogut wantaim pen. Na em i kamapim wanpela pikinini man, na i no gat wanpela samting long han bilong em. But those riches perish by evil travail: and he begetteth a son, and there is nothing in his hand.
Olsem em i kam ausait long bel bilong mama, skin nating tasol bai em i tanim bek bilong go olsem em i kam. Na em bai i no inap kisim wanpela samting bilong hatwok bilong em, dispela em i ken karim i go long han bilong em. As he came forth of his mother’s womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand.
Na dispela tu em i wanpela samting nogut i strong tru, long olgeta sait olsem em i kam, olsem tasol bai em i go. Na man i bin winim wanem samting husat i bin hatwok bilong holimpas win? And this also is a sore evil, that in all points as he came, so shall he go: and what profit hath he that hath laboured for the wind?
Olgeta de bilong em tu em i save kaikai long tudak, na em i gat planti bel hevi na belhat tru wantaim ol sik bilong em. All his days also he eateth in darkness, and he hath much sorrow and wrath with his sickness.
¶ Lukim dispela samting mi bin lukim. Em i gutpela na fit tru long wanpela long kaikai na long dring, na long amamas tru long gutpela bilong olgeta dispela hatwok bilong em em i kisim aninit long san long olgeta de bilong laip bilong em, dispela God i givim em. Long wanem, dispela em i hap skel bilong em. Behold that which I have seen: it is good and comely for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labour that he taketh under the sun all the days of his life, which God giveth him: for it is his portion.
Olgeta wan wan man tu husat God i bin givim ol planti mani samting na bikpela mani samting, na Em i bin givim em strong long kaikai long en, na long kisim hap skel bilong em, na long wokim amamas tru long hatwok bilong em, dispela em i presen bilong God. Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.
Long wanem, em bai i no inap holim tingting tumas long ol de bilong laip bilong em. Bilong wanem, God i bekim tok long em insait long amamas tru bilong bel bilong em. For he shall not much remember the days of his life; because God answereth him in the joy of his heart.
