절King Jems Pisin BaibelKing James Version
¶ Mi toktok insait long bel bilong mi, Goan nau, mi bai traim yu wantaim pasin bilong wokim pani, olsem na amamas tru long pasin bilong amamasim bel. Na, lukim, dispela tu em i samting nating. I said in mine heart, Go to now, I will prove thee with mirth, therefore enjoy pleasure: and, behold, this also is vanity.
Mi tok olsem long pasin bilong lap, Em i longlong, na long pasin bilong wokim pani, Em i mekim wanem samting? I said of laughter, It is mad: and of mirth, What doeth it?
Long bel bilong mi, mi painim rot bilong givim mi yet long wain, tasol yet long mekim bel bilong mi long save long save tru. Na mi painim rot bilong holimpas longlong pasin, inap long taim mi ken luksave long wanem samting em i gutpela bilong ol pikinini man bilong ol man, dispela ol i mas mekim aninit long heven olgeta de bilong laip bilong ol. I sought in mine heart to give myself unto wine, yet acquainting mine heart with wisdom; and to lay hold on folly, till I might see what was that good for the sons of men, which they should do under the heaven all the days of their life.
Mi wokim bilong mi ol bikpela wok. Mi wokim bilong mi ol haus. Mi planim bilong mi ol gaden wain. I made me great works; I builded me houses; I planted me vineyards:
Mi wokim bilong mi ol gaden na ol ples bilong diwai i gat kaikai, na mi planim insait long ol olgeta kain diwai i save karim prut. I made me gardens and orchards, and I planted trees in them of all kind of fruits:
Mi wokim bilong mi ol liklik raunwara, bilong givim wara wantaim ol long dispela ples diwai i karim ol diwai. I made me pools of water, to water therewith the wood that bringeth forth trees:
Mi kisim bilong mi ol wokboi na ol wokmeri, na ol i karim ol wokboi long haus bilong mi. Na tu mi gat planti kago bilong bikpela na liklik bulmakau samting i antap moa long olgeta husat i stap long Jerusalem bipo long mi. I got me servants and maidens, and had servants born in my house; also I had great possessions of great and small cattle above all that were in Jerusalem before me:
Mi bungim bilong mi tu silva na gol, na ol narakain samting i dia tru bilong ol king na bilong ol provins. Mi kisim bilong mi ol man bilong singim song na ol meri bilong singim song, na ol samting bilong amamas bilong ol pikinini man bilong ol man, olsem ol samting bilong wokim musik, na bilong dispela, olgeta kain kain. I gathered me also silver and gold, and the peculiar treasure of kings and of the provinces: I gat me men singers and women singers, and the delights of the sons of men, as musical instruments, and that of all sorts.
Olsem tasol mi stap bikpela tru, na kamap bikpela moa long olgeta husat i stap long Jerusalem bipo long mi. Na tu save tru bilong mi i stap yet wantaim mi. So I was great, and increased more than all that were before me in Jerusalem: also my wisdom remained with me.
Na wanem samting tupela ai bilong mi i laikim mi no pasim long ol, mi no holim bek bel bilong mi long wanpela amamas tru. Long wanem, bel bilong mi i wokim amamas tru long olgeta hatwok bilong mi. Na dispela em i hap skel bilong mi bilong olgeta hatwok bilong mi. And whatsoever mine eyes desired I kept not from them, I withheld not my heart from any joy; for my heart rejoiced in all my labour: and this was my portion of all my labour.
Nau mi lukluk long olgeta dispela wok ol han bilong mi i bin wokim, na long dispela hatwok mi bin hatwok long mekim. Na, lukim, olgeta em i samting nating na samting bilong givim hevi long spirit, na i no gat wanpela helpim aninit long san. Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun.
¶ Na mi tanim mi yet bilong lukim save tru, na tingting i longlong, na longlong pasin. Long wanem, man husat i kamap bihain long king i ken mekim wanem samting? Yes, dispela samting ol i bin mekim pinis. And I turned myself to behold wisdom, and madness, and folly: for what can the man do that cometh after the king? even that which hath been already done.
Nau mi luksave long save tru i winim tru longlong pasin, wankain olsem lait i winim tru tudak. Then I saw that wisdom excelleth folly, as far as light excelleth darkness.
Tupela ai bilong saveman i stap long het bilong em, tasol krankiman i wokabaut long tudak. Na mi mi yet i kisim save tu long wanpela kain samting i kamap long olgeta bilong ol. The wise man’s eyes are in his head; but the fool walketh in darkness: and I myself perceived also that one event happeneth to them all.
Nau mi toktok insait long bel bilong mi, Olsem samting i kamap long krankiman, yes, olsem tasol em i kamap long mi. Na nau bilong wanem na mi gat save tru moa? Nau mi toktok insait long bel bilong mi, long dispela tu i em samting nating. Then said I in my heart, As it happeneth to the fool, so it happeneth even to me; and why was I then more wise? Then I said in my heart, that this also is vanity.
Long wanem, i no gat pasin bilong holim tingting long saveman moa long krankiman oltaim oltaim, taim yumi luksave long dispela samting i stap nau long ol de bilong kamap bihain, bai ol man i lusim tingting long olgeta long en. Na saveman i save dai olsem wanem? Em i dai wankain olsem krankiman. For there is no remembrance of the wise more than of the fool for ever; seeing that which now is in the days to come shall all be forgotten. And how dieth the wise man? as the fool.
¶ Olsem na mi hetim laip. Bilong wanem, dispela wok ol i wokim aninit long san em i hevi nogut tru long mi. Long wanem, olgeta em i samting nating na samting bilong givim hevi long spirit. Therefore I hated life; because the work that is wrought under the sun is grievous unto me: for all is vanity and vexation of spirit.
Yes, mi hetim olgeta dispela hatwok bilong mi mi bin kisim aninit long san. Bilong wanem, mi mas lusim dispela long man husat bai stap bihain long mi. Yea, I hated all my labour which I had taken under the sun: because I should leave it unto the man that shall be after me.
Na husat i ken save long em bai stap wanpela saveman o wanpela krankiman? Yet em bai bosim olgeta hatwok bilong mi we mi bin hatwok insait long en na we mi bin soim olsem mi yet i gat save tru aninit long san insait long en. Dispela tu em i samting nating. And who knoweth whether he shall be a wise man or a fool? yet shall he have rule over all my labour wherein I have laboured, and wherein I have shewed myself wise under the sun. This is also vanity.
Olsem na mi bin go nabaut bilong mekim bel bilong mi long lusim hop long olgeta dispela hatwok bilong mi mi kisim aninit long san. Therefore I went about to cause my heart to despair of all the labour which I took under the sun.
Long wanem, i gat wanpela man husat hatwok bilong em i stap long save tru, na long save, na long stretpela kot tru. Yet long wanpela man husat i no bin hatwok insait long en, em bai lusim dispela bilong hap skel long em. Dispela tu em i samting nating na wanpela bikpela samting nogut. For there is a man whose labour is in wisdom, and in knowledge, and in equity; yet to a man that hath not laboured therein shall he leave it for his portion. This also is vanity and a great evil.
Long wanem, man i gat wanem samting long olgeta hatwok bilong em, na long samting bilong givim hevi long bel bilong em, we em i bin hatwok insait long en aninit long san? For what hath man of all his labour, and of the vexation of his heart, wherein he hath laboured under the sun?
Long wanem, olgeta de bilong em em ol bel hevi, na hatwok wantaim pen bilong em em bel sori. Yes, bel bilong em i no kisim malolo long nait. Dispela tu em i samting nating. For all his days are sorrows, and his travail grief; yea, his heart taketh not rest in the night. This is also vanity.
I no gat wanpela samting i gutpela moa long wanpela man, long em i ken kaikai na dring, na long em i ken mekim tewel bilong em i amamas tru long gutpela samting insait long hatwok bilong em. Dispela tu mi lukim, long dispela i kam long han bilong God. There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God.
Long wanem, husat i ken kaikai, o husat narapela i ken hariap i go long dispela hap, moa long mi? For who can eat, or who else can hasten hereunto, more than I?
Long wanem, God i givim save tru long wanpela man husat i stap gutpela long ai bilong Em, na save, na amamas tru. Tasol long sinman, Em i givim hatwok wantaim pen, bilong bungim na hipim i go antap, inap long Em i ken givim long em husat i gutpela long ai bilong God. Dispela tu em i samting nating na samting bilong givim hevi long spirit. For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit.
