| 3 | Yes, sapos yu singaut long kisim save, na yu litimapim nek bilong yu long gutpela save, | Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; |
| 4 | Sapos yu painim em olsem silva, na yu painim em olsem long ol samting i dia tru i stap hait, | If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; |
| 5 | Orait bai yu kisim save long pret long BIKPELA, na painim pinis save long God. | Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. |

| 14 | Husat i wokim amamas tru long mekim pasin nogut, na i gat gutpela amamas long bikhet pasin bilong ol man nogut, | Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked; |
| 15 | Husat ol rot bilong ol i krungut, na ol i bikhet long ol rot bilong ol, | Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths: |
| 16 | Bilong kisim bek yu long han bilong narakain meri, yes, long han bilong ausait meri husat i tok gris wantaim ol toktok bilong en, | To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words; |
| 17 | Husat i givim baksait long stia bilong em taim em i yangpela, na em i lusim tingting long kontrak bilong God bilong em. | Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God. |
| 18 | Long wanem, haus bilong em em i wok long go daun long dai, na ol liklik rot bilong em i go long ol daiman. | For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead. |
| 19 | I no gat wanpela husat i go long em i kam bek gen, na tu ol i no holim ol liklik rot bilong laip. | None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life. |
| 20 | Inap long yu ken wokabaut long rot bilong ol gutpela man, na holimpas ol liklik rot bilong ol stretpela man. | That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous. |
| 21 | Long wanem, ol stretpela man bai sindaun long dispela hap, na ol man i inap tru bai stap yet long en. | For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it. |
| 22 | Tasol ol bai rausim olgeta ol man nogut long dispela graun, na ol bai kamautim long graun ol man i kalapim lo. | But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it. |
