절King Jems Pisin BaibelKing James Version
¶ Yu no ken mangal long ol man nogut, na tu yu no ken gat laik long stap wantaim ol. Be not thou envious against evil men, neither desire to be with them.
Long wanem, bel bilong ol i stadi long pasin bilong bagarap olgeta, na maus bilong ol i toktok long hambak pasin. For their heart studieth destruction, and their lips talk of mischief.
¶ Long save tru man i wokim haus. Na long gutpela save em i strongim dispela. Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:
Na long save bai ol rum i pulap wantaim olgeta planti mani samting i dia tumas na i gutpela. And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.
Saveman em strong. Yes, man bilong save i kisim strong i kamap planti moa. A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.
Long wanem, long tok helpim i gat save tru yu bai mekim bikpela pait. Na long planti manmeri tru bilong givim tok helpim, man i stap gut. For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.
¶ Save tru em i antap tumas long krankiman. Em i no save opim maus bilong em long dua bilong banis. Wisdom is too high for a fool: he openeth not his mouth in the gate.
Em husat i kamapim plen bilong mekim pasin nogut bai ol i kolim em hambak man. He that deviseth to do evil shall be called a mischievous person.
Tingting long kranki pasin em i sin. Na man bilong tok bilas em i sting samting long ol man. The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men.
¶ Sapos yu hap i dai long de bilong kain hevi, strong bilong yu i liklik. If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.
¶ Sapos yu pasim bel long kisim bek ol husat ol i karim i go long dai, na ol husat ol i redi long kilim ol i dai, If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain;
Sapos yu tok, Harim, mipela i no save long en, ating em husat i tingim na skelim bel i no inap tingim na skelim dispela? Na em husat i holimpas tewel bilong yu, ating Em i no save long en? Na ating Em bai i no inap mekim long olgeta wan wan man bilong bihainim ol wok bilong em? If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?
¶ Pikinini man bilong mi, kaikai hani, bilong wanem, em i gutpela, na kom bilong hani, dispela i swit long maus bilong yu. My son, eat thou honey, because it is good; and the honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste:
Save bilong save tru bai stap olsem tasol long tewel bilong yu. Taim yu bin painim dispela pinis, nau bai yu kisim pe, na strongpela hop bilong yu ol bai i no inap rausim olgeta. So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.
¶ No ken wet hait, O man nogut, pas klostu long ples bilong stap bilong ol stretpela man. No ken bagarapim ples malolo bilong em. Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; spoil not his resting place:
Long wanem, stretpela man i pundaun sevenpela taim, na em i kirap gen. Tasol man nogut bai pundaun long hambak pasin. For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
¶ No ken wokim amamas tru taim birua bilong yu i pundaun, na no ken larim bel bilong yu stap amamas taim em i sutim lek long ston. Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:
Nogut BIKPELA i lukim dispela, na dispela i no givim amamas long Em, na Em i tanim belhat tru bilong Em i lusim em. Lest the Lord see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.
¶ No ken bagarapim bel bilong yu yet bilong tingim ol man nogut, na tu yu no ken mangal long man nogut. Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked;
Long wanem, bai i no gat pe i go long man nogut. Ol bai mekim i dai kandel bilong man nogut. For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.
¶ Pikinini man bilong mi, yu mas pret long BIKPELA na long king. Na no ken poroman wantaim ol husat i laik senis senis. My son, fear thou the Lord and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change:
Long wanem, bagarap bilong ol bai kam wantu. Na husat i save long bagarap bilong tupela wantaim? For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both?
¶ Ol dispela samting tu i bilong ol saveman. Em i no gutpela long tingim nem bilong ol man taim ol i sanap long kot. These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment.
Em husat i tokim man nogut, Yu stretpela man, ol manmeri bai tok nogutim em, ol kantri bai ting em i sting olgeta. He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him:
Tasol long ol husat i hatim em, gutpela amamas bai stap, na gutpela blesing bai kam antap long ol. But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them.
Olgeta wan wan man bai givim kis long maus bilong em husat i givim stretpela bekim tok. Every man shall kiss his lips that giveth a right answer.
¶ Redim wok bilong yu ausait, na mekim dispela i fit long yu yet long ples kunai, na bihain wokim haus bilong yu. Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterwards build thine house.
¶ No ken i stap witnes i birua long man i stap klostu long yu sapos i no gat as bilong en. Na no ken tok giaman wantaim maus bilong yu. Be not a witness against thy neighbour without cause; and deceive not with thy lips.
No ken tok, Mi bai mekim long em olsem em i bin mekim long mi. Mi bai bekim long man bilong bihainim wok bilong em. Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me: I will render to the man according to his work.
¶ Mi bin wokabaut klostu long bikpela gaden bilong lesman na klostu long gaden wain bilong man i sot olgeta long gutpela save. I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding;
Na, harim, ol rop i gat nil i karamapim dispela olgeta, na ol salat i bin karamapim pes bilong en, na banis ston bilong en i bruk olgeta. And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down.
Nau mi lukim, na mi tingim na skelim dispela. Mi lukluk long en, na mi kisim skul. Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction.
Liklik slip tasol, liklik taim bilong pasim ai, liklik taim bilong ol han i tanim long ol yet bilong slip, Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
Olsem tasol rabisman pasin bilong yu bai kam olsem wanpela husat i save raun, na ol nid bilong yu olsem man i karim ol samting bilong pait. So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man.
