절King Jems Pisin BaibelKing James Version
¶ Rabisman husat i wokabaut long pasin holi bilong em i winim em husat i tok paul long maus bilong em, na em i krankiman. Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.
¶ Na tu, sapos tewel i no gat save, em i no gutpela. Na em husat i hariap wantaim tupela lek bilong em i mekim sin. Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth.
¶ Kranki pasin bilong man i paulim rot bilong em. Na bel bilong en i bagarapim bel i birua long BIKPELA. The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the Lord.
¶ Mani samting i mekim planti pren i kamap. Tasol rabisman i bruk long man i stap klostu long em. Wealth maketh many friends; but the poor is separated from his neighbour.
¶ Giaman witnes bai i no inap abrusim mekim save, na em husat i mekim tok giaman bai i no inap ranawe. A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape.
¶ Planti bai mekim strongpela askim long kisim gutpela amamas bilong hetman. Na olgeta wan wan man em i pren bilong em husat i givim ol presen. Many will intreat the favour of the prince: and every man is a friend to him that giveth gifts.
Olgeta brata bilong rabisman i no laikim em tru. Hamas moa ol pren bilong em i go longwe long em? Em i ran bihainim ol wantaim ol toktok, tasol long em ol i sot. All the brethren of the poor do hate him: how much more do his friends go far from him? he pursueth them with words, yet they are wanting to him.
¶ Em husat i kisim save tru i laikim tru tewel bilong em yet. Em husat i holimpas gutpela save bai painim pinis gutpela samting. He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.
¶ Giaman witnes bai i no inap abrusim mekim save, na em husat i mekim ol tok giaman bai dai. A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.
¶ Gutpela amamas i no luk olsem em i gutpela samting bilong krankiman. Hamas moa i no luk olsem i gutpela long wokboi i bosim ol hetman. Delight is not seemly for a fool; much less for a servant to have rule over princes.
¶ Stretpela tingting bilong man i mekim belhat bilong em i wet. Na em i glori bilong em long abrusim wanpela pasin bilong kalapim lo. The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.
¶ Belhat tru bilong king i olsem krai bilong laion. Tasol gutpela amamas bilong em i olsem wara bilong nait i stap long gras. The king’s wrath is as the roaring of a lion; but his favour is as dew upon the grass.
¶ Pikinini man i krankiman em i bagarap bilong papa bilong em. Na ol pait bilong meri bilong man i olsem ren i pundaun oltaim. A foolish son is the calamity of his father: and the contentions of a wife are a continual dropping.
¶ Haus na ol planti mani samting ol i samting papa i givim pikinini bilong ol papa. Na meri bilong yusim save em i kam long BIKPELA. House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the Lord.
¶ Les pasin i tromoi man i go long slip i dip. Na tewel i stap nating bai pilim hevi bilong hangre. Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger.
¶ Em husat i holimpas strongpela tok i holimpas tewel bilong em yet. Tasol em husat i tingim ol rot bilong em i samting nating bai dai. He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die.
¶ Em husat i gat sori long rabisman i givim dinau long BIKPELA. Na dispela samting em i bin givim, Em bai bekim pe long em gen. He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.
¶ Stikim pikinini man bilong yu taim i gat hop, na no ken larim tewel bilong yu i ken isi long em taim em i krai. Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying.
¶ Man bilong bikpela belhat tru bai pilim hevi bilong mekim save. Long wanem, sapos yu kisim bek em, yet yu mas mekim dispela gen. A man of great wrath shall suffer punishment: for if thou deliver him, yet thou must do it again.
¶ Harim tok helpim, na kisim tok skul, inap long yu ken stap saveman long las hap bilong laip bilong yu. Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.
¶ I gat planti plen long bel bilong man. Tasol tok helpim bilong BIKPELA, dispela bai sanap. There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.
¶ Laik bilong man em i gutpela pasin bilong em. Na rabisman i winim man bilong giaman. The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar.
¶ Pret long BIKPELA i wok long kamapim laip. Na em husat i gat dispela bai ting em inap tru. Samting nogut bai i no inap kam lukim em. The fear of the Lord tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.
¶ Lesman i haitim han bilong em long bros bilong em, na em bai i no inap bringim han i kam long maus bilong em gen liklik. A slothful man hideth his hand in his bosom, and will not so much as bring it to his mouth again.
¶ Paitim man bilong tok bilas, na man i no gat save bai lukaut gut. Na stretim wanpela husat i gat gutpela save, na em bai kisim save long save. Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.
¶ Em husat i mekim papa bilong em long stap nating, na i ranim i go mama bilong em, em i pikinini man husat i mekim sem i kamap, na bringim sem. He that wasteth his father, and chaseth away his mother, is a son that causeth shame, and bringeth reproach.
¶ Lusim, pikinini man bilong mi, pasin bilong harim tok skul, dispela i mekim yu lusim rot bilong ol toktok bilong save. Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge.
¶ Witnes nogut i tok bilas long kot. Na maus bilong man nogut i kaikai sin nogut olgeta. An ungodly witness scorneth judgment: and the mouth of the wicked devoureth iniquity.
¶ Ol i redim ol kot bilong ol man bilong tok bilas, na ol mak bilong wip bilong baksait bilong ol krankiman. Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools.
