절King Jems Pisin BaibelKing James Version
¶ Pikinini man i saveman i save harim tok skul bilong papa bilong en. Tasol man bilong tok bilas i no harim tok i hatim em. A wise son heareth his father’s instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke.
¶ Man bai kaikai gutpela samting long kaikai bilong maus bilong em. Tasol tewel bilong ol man i kalapim lo bai kaikai pasin pait. A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth: but the soul of the transgressors shall eat violence.
¶ Em husat i holimpas maus bilong en i holimpas laip bilong em. Tasol em husat i opim maus bilong em bikpela bai gat bagarap olgeta. He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.
¶ Tewel bilong lesman i gat laik long kisim samting, na em i no gat wanpela samting. Tasol tewel bilong man bilong wok strong bai kamap patpela. The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.
¶ Stretpela man i no laikim tru tok giaman. Tasol man nogut i sting, na em i kam long sem. A righteous man hateth lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.
¶ Stretpela pasin i holimpas em husat i stretpela long rot. Tasol pasin nogut i tromoi sinman i go daun. Righteousness keepeth him that is upright in the way: but wickedness overthroweth the sinner.
¶ I gat man husat i mekim em yet i stap maniman, tasol em i no gat samting. I gat man i mekim em yet i stap rabisman, tasol em i gat planti mani samting tru. There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches.
¶ Pe bilong baim bek laip bilong man em ol planti mani samting bilong em. Tasol rabisman i no harim tok i hatim em. The ransom of a man’s life are his riches: but the poor heareth not rebuke.
¶ Lait bilong ol stretpela man i wokim amamas tru. Tasol ol bai mekim i dai lam bilong man nogut. The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.
¶ Tok pait i kam long hambak pasin tasol. Tasol save tru i stap wantaim man i kisim gutpela toksave bilong helpim. Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.
¶ Mani samting man i kisim long pasin nating bai go liklik. Tasol em husat i bungim samting long hatwok bai gat planti moa. Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.
¶ Hop i mas wet i mekim bel i sik. Tasol taim samting man i gat laik long kisim i kamap, em i diwai bilong laip. Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.
¶ Husat man i tingim tok em i samting nating bai kisim bagarap olgeta. Tasol em husat i pret long strongpela tok bai i kisim pe. Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.
¶ Lo bilong saveman em ai bilong wara i sut bilong laip, bilong helpim em lusim ol trap bilong dai. The law of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
¶ Gutpela save i givim gutpela amamas. Tasol rot bilong ol man i kalapim lo em i hat. Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard.
¶ Olgeta wan wan man bilong yusim save i mekim wok wantaim save. Tasol krankiman i soim ples klia longlong pasin bilong em. Every prudent man dealeth with knowledge: but a fool layeth open his folly.
¶ Mausman nogut i pundaun long hambak pasin. Tasol mausman bilong gavman yu inap bilip long em em i samting i mekim bodi i stap orait. A wicked messenger falleth into mischief: but a faithful ambassador is health.
¶ Em husat i tok nogat long tok skul bai kamap rabisman na kisim sem. Tasol em husat i tingim gut strongpela tok bilong stretim bai kisim ona. Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.
¶ Taim samting man i gat laik long kisim i kamap, em i swit long tewel. Tasol em i sting samting long ol krankiman long lusim pasin nogut. The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is abomination to fools to depart from evil.
¶ Em husat i wokabaut wantaim ol saveman bai stap saveman. Tasol poroman bilong ol krankiman bai bagarap olgeta. He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
¶ Pasin nogut i ran bihainim ol sinman. Tasol ol bai bekim pe wantaim gutpela pasin long ol stretpela man. Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repayed.
¶ Gutpela man i lusim samting papa i givim pikinini long ol pikinini bilong ol pikinini bilong em. Na mani samting bilong sinman ol i putim i stap bilong ol stretpela man. A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.
¶ Planti kaikai i stap long gaden bilong rabisman. Tasol i gat ol samting i bagarap olgeta bikos man i sot long save bilong skelim. Much food is in the tillage of the poor: but there is that is destroyed for want of judgment.
¶ Em husat i no yusim stik bilong em i no laikim tru pikinini man bilong em. Tasol em husat i laikim em tru i stikim em hariap. He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.
¶ Stretpela man i kaikai na dispela i inapim tewel bilong em. Tasol bel bilong man nogut bai sot long kaikai. The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.
