Man bilong wokim pasin giaman em i wokim pasin giaman, na man bilong kisim ol kago bilong arapela, em i kisim ol kago bilong arapela. Go antap, O Ilam. Pasim rot, O Midia. Mi bin mekim olgeta pasin bilong soim wari bilong ol i pinis. | A grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous dealer dealeth treacherously, and the spoiler spoileth. Na em i bin brukim i go long graun olgeta piksa bilong ol god bilong em. | And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men, with a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground. |
O manmeri bilong mi sampela i bin paitim, na ol i wit samting bilong plua bilong mi, dispela samting mi bin harim long BIKPELA bilong bikpela ami, em God bilong Isrel, dispela mi bin tokaut long yupela long en. | O my threshing, and the corn of my floor: that which I have heard of the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, have I declared unto you.
¶ Hevi bilong Duma. Em i stap long Sir na em i singaut long mi olsem, Wasman, olsem wanem long dispela nait? Wasman, olsem wanem long dispela nait? | The burden of Dumah. He calleth to me out of Seir, Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?
Wasman i tok olsem, Moningtaim bai i kam na tu nait. Sapos yupela i laik mekim askim, yupela ken mekim askim, yupela mas kam bek, na kam. | The watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if ye will enquire, enquire ye: return, come.
Hevi i go long Arebia. Bai yupela i stap long bikbus long Arebia, O yupela ol lain bilong Dedanim i wokabaut. | The burden upon Arabia. In the forest in Arabia shall ye lodge, O ye travelling companies of Dedanim.
