| 2 | Yu stap pulap long ol bikmaus, yu wanpela biktaun i kirap planti, na yu stap wanpela biktaun i amamas tru. Ol man bilong yu sampela i bin kilim ol i dai, ol i no kilim i dai long bainat na ol i no dai pinis long bikpela pait. | Thou that art full of stirs, a tumultuous city, a joyous city: thy slain men are not slain with the sword, nor dead in battle. |
| 3 | Olgeta hetman bilong yu i bin ranawe wantaim na ol man i sutim banara i pas wantaim ol. Olgeta manmeri i stap long yu ol i bin lusim longwe ples na ranawe, na ol i pas tumas wantaim. | All thy rulers are fled together, they are bound by the archers: all that are found in thee are bound together, which have fled from far. |

Yu no ken hatwok long givim bel isi long mi, long wanem mi save ol bai kisim ol kago bilong pikinini meri bilong ol manmeri bilong mi. | Therefore said I, Look away from me; I will weep bitterly, labour not to comfort me, because of the spoiling of the daughter of my people. |

| 6 | Na Ilam i karim paus bilong holim ol spia long ol karis bilong ol man na ol man i sindaun long ol hos. Na Kir i rausim laplap i karamapim hap plang. | And Elam bare the quiver with chariots of men and horsemen, and Kir uncovered the shield. |
| 7 | Na em bai kamap olsem, ol ples daun bilong yu i naispela moa bai pulap long ol karis na ol man i sindaun long ol hos bai redim ol yet long pait long dua bilong banis. | And it shall come to pass, that thy choicest valleys shall be full of chariots, and the horsemen shall set themselves in array at the gate. |

Na yupela i bin bungim ol wara wantaim bilong liklik raunwara i stap daunbilo. | Ye have seen also the breaches of the city of David, that they are many: and ye gathered together the waters of the lower pool. |
| 10 | Na yupela i bin kaunim ol haus bilong Jerusalem na yupela i bin brukim ol haus bilong strongim banis. | And ye have numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses have ye broken down to fortify the wall. |
| 11 | Na tu yupela i bin wokim wanpela baret namel long tupela banis, bai wara bilong olpela liklik raunwara i ken ran i go. Tasol yupela i no bin lukluk i go long dispela Wanpela i bin wokim dispela, na tu yupela i no bin givim biknem long Man i bin wokim dispela pastaim tru. | Ye made also a ditch between the two walls for the water of the old pool: but ye have not looked unto the maker thereof, neither had respect unto him that fashioned it long ago. |

| 13 | Na lukim, amamas tru na belgut i stap. Ol i kilim i dai ol bulmakau man na kilim i dai ol sipsip. Ol i kaikai mit na dringim wain. Ol i tok, Kaman yumi kaikai na dring, long wanem tumora bai yumi dai pinis. | And behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen, and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: let us eat and drink; for to morrow we shall die. |
| 14 | Na BIKPELA bilong bikpela ami i bin mekim dispela i kamap ples klia long tupela ia bilong mi. Bikpela na GOD bilong bikpela ami i tok olsem, Tru tumas, dispela sin nogut i no ken lusim yupela inap long yupela i dai pinis. | And it was revealed in mine ears by the Lord of hosts, Surely this iniquity shall not be purged from you till ye die, saith the Lord God of hosts. |
| 15 | ¶ Bikpela na GOD bilong bikpela ami i tok olsem, Go, yu mas go long dispela man bilong lukautim ol samting i dia tru, yes long Sepna na em i bosim dispela haus. Na yu mas tok olsem, | Thus saith the Lord God of hosts, Go, get thee unto this treasurer, even unto Shebna, which is over the house, and say, |
| 16 | Yu mekim wanem samting hia? Na yu gat husat i stap hia, long yu bin wokim wanpela matmat hia olsem man i wokim wanpela matmat bilong em yet na i stap antap? Na i olsem em i wokim wanpela hap em i ken stap long em long wanpela bikpela ston? | What hast thou here? and whom hast thou here, that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, as he that heweth him out a sepulchre on high, and that graveth an habitation for himself in a rock? |
| 17 | Harim, BIKPELA bai kisim yu i go longwe long wanpela strongpela kalabus. Na tru tumas Em bai karamapim yu. | Behold, the Lord will carry thee away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover thee. |
| 18 | Tru tumas, Em bai tanim Em yet kwiktaim na tromoi yu olsem wanpela bal i go long wanpela bikpela kantri. Na bai yu dai pinis long dispela hap. Na long dispela hap, ol karis bilong glori bilong yu bai kamap sem bilong lain bilong bikman bilong yu. | He will surely violently turn and toss thee like a ball into a large country: there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord’s house. |
| 19 | Na bai Mi rausim yu long wok bilong yu na em bai pulim yu i go daun long namba bilong yu. | And I will drive thee from thy station, and from thy state shall he pull thee down. |
| 20 | Na em bai kamap olsem, long dispela de bai Mi singautim wokboi bilong Mi Elaiakim pikinini man bilong Hilkaia. | And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah: |
| 21 | Na bai Mi givim longpela saket bilong yu long em i ken putim. Na bai Mi strongim em long putim laplap bilong yu long bodi bilong em. Na bai Mi putim wok gavman yu bin mekim i go long han bilong em. Na em bai stap wanpela papa long ol manmeri bilong Jerusalem na long ol lain bilong Juda. | And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah. |

Na em bai pasim na i no gat wanpela i ken opim. | And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open. |

Ol samting bilong holim ol kap, yes inap long olgeta samting bilong holim ol bikpela baket. | And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father’s house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons. |
| 25 | BIKPELA bilong bikpela ami i tok olsem, Long dispela de bai Mi rausim na katim i go daun inap long em i pundaun, dispela nil i stap nau long wanpela strongpela hap. Na hevi i bin stap long em bai bagarap, long wanem BIKPELA i bin mekim dispela tok. | In that day, saith the Lord of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed, and be cut down, and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off: for the Lord hath spoken it. |
