| 2 | Larim mi liklik, na mi bai soim yu dispela toktok mi gat yet long sait bilong God. | Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet to speak on God’s behalf. |
| 3 | Mi bai kisim save bilong mi long longwe, na mi bai makim stretpela pasin long Man i wokim mi. | I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker. |
| 4 | Long wanem, tru tumas, ol toktok bilong mi bai i no inap stap giaman. Em husat em inap tru long save i stap wantaim yu. | For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with thee. |
| 5 | ¶ Lukim, God em i strong, na Em i no tingim wanpela olsem i samting nating. Em i strong long strong na save tru. | Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom. |
| 6 | Em i no mekim laip bilong man nogut stap gut yet. Tasol Em i givim stretpela samting long rabisman. | He preserveth not the life of the wicked: but giveth right to the poor. |

Yes, Em i strongim ol oltaim oltaim, na ol i kisim biknem. | He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted. |

| 9 | Nau Em i soim ol ol wok bilong ol, na ol pasin bilong kalapim lo bilong ol, dispela ol i bin go planti moa yet long ol. | Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded. |
| 10 | Em i opim tu ol ia bilong ol long pasin bilong mekim gutpela wok olgeta taim, na Em i tok strong long ol long kam bek na lusim sin nogut. | He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity. |
| 11 | Sapos ol i bihainim tok na bihainim Em, ol bai stap long ol de bilong ol long gutpela sindaun, na ol yia bilong ol long ol samting bilong amamasim bel. | If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures. |
| 12 | Tasol sapos ol i no bihainim tok, ol bai dai olgeta long bainat, na ol bai dai taim ol i no gat save. | But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge. |
| 13 | Tasol ol man bilong tupela bel bai hipim antap belhat tru. Ol i no krai taim Em i pasim ol. | But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he bindeth them. |
| 14 | Ol i dai long taim ol i yangpela, na laip bilong ol i stap namel long ol man i no klin. | They die in youth, and their life is among the unclean. |
| 15 | ¶ Em i kisim bek ol rabisman long taim bilong kisim hevi bilong ol, na opim ol ia bilong ol long taim bilong kisim hevi bilong ol. | He delivereth the poor in his affliction, and openeth their ears in oppression. |
| 16 | Yes, olsem tasol Em i gat laik long rausim yu ausait long liklik ples i go insait long wanpela ples i gat bikpela brait, we i no liklik. Na dispela samting Em i laik putim antap long tebol bilong yu i ken pulap wantaim gris. | Even so would he have removed thee out of the strait into a broad place, where there is no straitness; and that which should be set on thy table should be full of fatness. |

| 20 | No ken gat laik long nait, taim ol i rausim olgeta ol manmeri long ples bilong ol. | Desire not the night, when people are cut off in their place. |
| 21 | Was gut, no ken tingim sin nogut i gutpela. Long wanem, dispela yu bin makim bilong yu moa long taim bilong kisim hevi. | Take heed, regard not iniquity: for this hast thou chosen rather than affliction. |
| 22 | Lukim, God i litimapim wantaim pawa bilong Em. Husat i skulim olsem Em? | Behold, God exalteth by his power: who teacheth like him? |
| 23 | Husat i bin tok strong long Em long rot bilong Em? O husat i ken tok, Yu bin wokim sin nogut? | Who hath enjoined him his way? or who can say, Thou hast wrought iniquity? |
| 24 | ¶ Holim tingting long yu mas litimapim wok bilong Em, dispela ol man i lukim. | Remember that thou magnify his work, which men behold. |
| 25 | Olgeta wan wan man bai lukim dispela. Man i ken lukim dispela longwe. | Every man may see it; man may behold it afar off. |
| 26 | Lukim, God i bikpela, na yumi no save long Em, na tu namba bilong ol yia bilong Em yumi no inap long painimaut tru. | Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out. |
| 27 | Long wanem, Em i mekim ol drop bilong wara i go liklik. Ol i kapsaitim ren bilong bihainim smok wara bilong en, | For he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof: |
| 28 | Dispela ol klaut i lusim i go daun na tromoi isi isi antap long man planti moa yet. | Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly. |
| 29 | Na tu ating wanpela i ken kisim save long ol opim bilong ol klaut, o nois bilong haus holi bilong Em? | Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle? |
| 30 | Lukim, Em i opim lait bilong Em antap long en, na karamapim as daunbilo bilong biksi. | Behold, he spreadeth his light upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea. |
| 31 | Long wanem, long ol Em i jasim ol manmeri. Em i givim kaikai i pulap tru. | For by them judgeth he the people; he giveth meat in abundance. |
| 32 | Wantaim ol klaut Em i karamapim lait. Na Em i tok strong long em i no ken lait long dispela klaut i kam namel. | With clouds he covereth the light; and commandeth it not to shine by the cloud that cometh betwixt. |
| 33 | Nois bilong en i soim long sait bilong en, ol bulmakau samting tu long sait bilong smok wara bilong en. | The noise thereof sheweth concerning it, the cattle also concerning the vapour. |
