| 2 | Yu tingim dispela em i stretpela, long yu tok, Stretpela pasin bilong mi em i moa long bilong God? | Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God’s? |
| 3 | Long wanem, yu bin tok, Em bai helpim Yu olsem wanem? Na, Wanem helpim bai mi gat, sapos mi stap klin long sin bilong mi? | For thou saidst, What advantage will it be unto thee? and, What profit shall I have, if I be cleansed from my sin? |
| 4 | Mi bai bekim yu, na ol poroman bilong yu wantaim yu. | I will answer thee, and thy companions with thee. |
| 5 | Lukluk i go long ol heven, na luksave. Na lukim ol dispela klaut i stap antap moa long yu. | Look unto the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds which are higher than thou. |

| 7 | Sapos yu stap stretpela, yu givim wanem long Em? O Em i kisim wanem long han bilong yu? | If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand? |
| 8 | Ol sin nogut bilong yu i ken bagarapim wanpela kain man i stap olsem yu. Na stretpela pasin bilong yu i ken helpim pikinini man bilong man. | Thy wickedness may hurt a man as thou art; and thy righteousness may profit the son of man. |

Ol i krai strong bikos han bilong ol strongpela man i givim hevi. | By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make the oppressed to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty. |

| 12 | Long dispela hap ol i krai, tasol i no gat wanpela i givim wanpela bekim, bilong wanem, hambak pasin bilong ol man nogut i stap. | There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men. |
| 13 | Tru tumas, God bai i no inap harim samting nating, na tu Man i Gat Olgeta Strong bai i no inap tingim gut dispela. | Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it. |
| 14 | ¶ Maski yu tok yu bai i no inap lukim Em, yet kot i stap long ai bilong Em. Olsem na yu mas putim bilip long Em. | Although thou sayest thou shalt not see him, yet judgment is before him; therefore trust thou in him. |
| 15 | Tasol nau, bikos em i no olsem, Em i bin kam lukim yu long belhat bilong Em. Yet Em i no save long dispela long bikpela arere olgeta bilong en. | But now, because it is not so, he hath visited in his anger; yet he knoweth it not in great extremity: |
| 16 | Olsem na Jop i opim maus bilong em nating. Em i mekim ol toktok i kamap planti moa taim em i no gat save. | Therefore doth Job open his mouth in vain; he multiplieth words without knowledge. |
