| 10 | Tasol Em i save dispela rot mi kisim. Taim Em i bin traim mi, mi bai kam ausait olsem gol. | But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. |
| 11 | Fut bilong mi i bin holim ol step bilong Em, rot bilong Em mi bin holimpas, na mi no bin go daun. | My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined. |

Mi bin tingim ol toktok bilong maus bilong Em i gutpela moa long ol kaikai bilong mi mi gat nid long en. | Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. |

| 17 | Bilong wanem, Em i no rausim mi olgeta long ai bilong tudak, na tu Em i no bin karamapim tudak i lusim pes bilong mi. | Because I was not cut off before the darkness, neither hath he covered the darkness from my face. |
