| 2 | Harim strong toktok bilong mi, na larim dispela stap ol samting bilong yupela bilong givim bel isi. | Hear diligently my speech, and let this be your consolations. |
| 3 | Larim mi inap long mi ken toktok. Na bihain long mi bin toktok, wokim pani bilong daunim i go. | Suffer me that I may speak; and after that I have spoken, mock on. |
| 4 | Long sait bilong mi, ating wari bilong mi i go long man? Na sapos em i olsem, bilong wanem spirit bilong mi i no ken pilim wari? | As for me, is my complaint to man? and if it were so, why should not my spirit be troubled? |
| 5 | Lukim mi, na kirap nogut, na putim han bilong yu antap long maus bilong yu. | Mark me, and be astonished, and lay your hand upon your mouth. |
| 6 | Yes, taim mi holim tingting mi pret, na pasin guria i holimpas bodi bilong mi. | Even when I remember I am afraid, and trembling taketh hold on my flesh. |
| 7 | ¶ Olsem wanem na ol man nogut i stap laip, kamap lapun, yes, i stap strongpela long pawa? | Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty in power? |
| 8 | Tumbuna pikinini bilong ol i kamap strong wantaim ol long hap ai bilong ol i lukim, na ol pikinini i kamaut long ol long ai bilong ol ai bilong ol. | Their seed is established in their sight with them, and their offspring before their eyes. |
| 9 | Ol haus bilong ol i stap orait na i no gat pret, na tu stik bilong God i no stap antap long ol. | Their houses are safe from fear, neither is the rod of God upon them. |
| 10 | Bulmakau man bilong ol i givim bel, na i no fel. Bulmakau meri bilong ol i karim pikinini, na i no save tromoi nating pikinini bilong em. | Their bull gendereth, and faileth not; their cow calveth, and casteth not her calf. |
| 11 | Ol i salim i go ausait ol liklik pikinini bilong ol olsem wanpela lain sipsip, na ol pikinini bilong ol i danis. | They send forth their little ones like a flock, and their children dance. |
| 12 | Ol i kisim liklik kundu na harp, na wokim amamas tru long nois bilong organ. | They take the timbrel and harp, and rejoice at the sound of the organ. |
| 13 | Ol i stap long ol de bilong ol taim ol i gat bikpela mani samting, na wantu tasol ol i go daun long matmat. | They spend their days in wealth, and in a moment go down to the grave. |
| 14 | Olsem na ol i tokim God, Lusim mipela. Long wanem, mipela i no gat laik long save long ol rot bilong Yu. | Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways. |

| 16 | Harim, ol gutpela samting bilong ol i no stap long han bilong ol. Tok helpim ol man nogut i givim i stap longwe long mi. | Lo, their good is not in their hand: the counsel of the wicked is far from me. |
| 17 | ¶ Hamas taim paia bilong kandel bilong man nogut i dai! Na hamas taim bagarap olgeta bilong ol i kam antap long ol! God i tilim ol bel hevi insait long belhat bilong Em. | How oft is the candle of the wicked put out! and how oft cometh their destruction upon them! God distributeth sorrows in his anger. |

| 20 | Tupela ai bilong em bai lukim bagarap olgeta bilong em, na em bai dring long belhat tru bilong Man i Gat Olgeta Strong. | His eyes shall see his destruction, and he shall drink of the wrath of the Almighty. |
| 21 | Long wanem, em i gat wanem amamas long haus bilong em bihain long em, taim namba bilong ol mun bilong em i pinis olgeta insait long namel bilong ol? | For what pleasure hath he in his house after him, when the number of his months is cut off in the midst? |
| 22 | Ating wanpela bai skulim God long save, taim yumi luksave olsem Em i jasim ol husat i antap? | Shall any teach God knowledge? seeing he judgeth those that are high. |
| 23 | Wanpela i dai long taim strong bilong em i pulap, taim em i stap isi na i gat gutpela sindaun olgeta. | One dieth in his full strength, being wholly at ease and quiet. |
| 24 | Tupela bros bilong em i pulap wantaim susu, na ol bun bilong em i wara liklik wantaim wara bilong bun. | His breasts are full of milk, and his bones are moistened with marrow. |
| 25 | Na narapela i dai taim tewel bilong em i bagarap tru, na i no bin kaikai wantaim amamas. | And another dieth in the bitterness of his soul, and never eateth with pleasure. |
| 26 | Ol bai slipim bodi wankain insait long das, na ol liklik snek bai karamapim ol. | They shall lie down alike in the dust, and the worms shall cover them. |
| 27 | ¶ Lukim, mi save long ol tingting bilong yupela, na ol dispela plen yupela tingting nating i rong i birua long mi. | Behold, I know your thoughts, and the devices which ye wrongfully imagine against me. |
| 28 | Long wanem, yupela i tok, Haus bilong hetman i stap we? Na ol ples bilong stap bilong ol man nogut i stap we? | For ye say, Where is the house of the prince? and where are the dwelling places of the wicked? |
| 29 | Ating i yes long yupela i bin askim ol husat i go long rot? Na ating i yes long yupela i save long ol mak bilong ol, | Have ye not asked them that go by the way? and do ye not know their tokens, |
| 30 | Long God i holim bek ol man nogut bilong de bilong bagarap olgeta? God bai bringim ol i go ausait long dispela de bilong belhat tru. | That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath. |
| 31 | Husat bai tokaut long rot bilong em long pes bilong em? Na husat bai bekim pe long em long wanem samting em i bin mekim? | Who shall declare his way to his face? and who shall repay him what he hath done? |
| 32 | Yet God bai bringim em long matmat, na em bai stap yet insait long matmat. | Yet shall he be brought to the grave, and shall remain in the tomb. |
| 33 | Ol strongpela hap graun i pas bilong ples daun bai stap switpela long em, na olgeta wan wan man God bai pulim i kam bihain long em, olsem i gat namba man i no inap kaunim i bin go pas long em. | The clods of the valley shall be sweet unto him, and every man shall draw after him, as there are innumerable before him. |
