| 2 | Olsem na mi opim maus bilong mi, na Em i mekim mi long kaikai dispela rol. | So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll. |
| 3 | Na Em i tokim mi, Pikinini man bilong man, mekim bel bilong yu long kaikai, na pulimapim ol rop bilong bel bilong yu wantaim dispela rol, dispela Mi givim yu. Nau mi bin kaikai dispela. Na long maus bilong mi em i swit olsem hani. | And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness. |

| 6 | I no long ol planti manmeri bilong wanpela narakain tok ples na bilong wanpela tok ples i hatpela, husat ol toktok bilong ol yu no inap kisim save. Tru tumas, sapos Mi bin salim yu long ol, ol i bin harim tok bilong yu. | Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee. |

Long wanem, olgeta hauslain bilong Isrel i no gat sem na bel bilong ol i strong tru. | But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted. |

No ken pret long ol, o wari planti long ol pes bilong ol, maski ol i stap wanpela bikhet hauslain. | As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. |
| 10 | Na moa tu Em i tokim mi, Pikinini man bilong man, olgeta toktok bilong Mi, dispela Mi bai toktok long yu, kisim insait long bel bilong yu, na harim wantaim tupela ia bilong yu. | Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears. |
| 11 | Na go, kisim yu yet i go long ol lain i stap kalabus, i go long ol pikinini bilong lain manmeri bilong yu, na toktok long ol, na tokim ol, GOD Bikpela i tok olsem. Tokim ol sapos ol i laik harim, o sapos ol i laik pasim bel. | And go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord God; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear. |
| 12 | Nau dispela spirit i kisim mi go antap, na mi harim long baksait bilong mi wanpela nek bilong wanpela bikpela samting i ran hariap, i spik, Blesing i stap long glori bilong BIKPELA i kam long ples bilong Em. | Then the spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of a great rushing, saying, Blessed be the glory of the Lord from his place. |

| 14 | Olsem na dispela spirit i litimapim mi, na kisim mi i go, na mi go wantaim bel i pait tru, long hat bilong spirit bilong mi. Tasol han bilong BIKPELA i stap strong antap long mi. | So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the Lord was strong upon me. |
| 15 | Nau mi kam long ol bilong dispela lain kalabus long Telabip, husat i stap klostu long wara Kebar, na mi sindaun we ol i sindaun, na stap yet namel long ol wantaim tingting i kirap nogut sevenpela de. | Then I came to them of the captivity at Tel–abib, that dwelt by the river of Chebar, and I sat where they sat, and remained there astonished among them seven days. |

Olsem na harim dispela tok long maus bilong Mi, na givim tok lukaut long ol i kam long Mi. | Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. |
| 18 | Taim Mi tokim man nogut, Tru tumas, yu bai dai, na yu no givim tok lukaut long em, o toktok long man nogut long em i mas lukaut long pasin nogut bilong em, bilong kisim bek laip bilong em, dispela man nogut stret bai dai long sin nogut bilong em. Tasol blut bilong em bai Mi strong long askim long en long han bilong yu. | When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. |
| 19 | Tasol sapos yu givim tok lukaut long man nogut, na em i no tanim long pasin nogut bilong em, o long pasin nogut bilong em, em bai dai long sin nogut bilong em, tasol yu bin kisim bek tewel bilong yu. | Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. |

Bikos yu no bin givim tok lukaut long em, em bai dai long sin bilong em, na stretpela pasin bilong em, dispela em i bin wokim bipo, ol man bai i no inap tingim gen. Tasol blut bilong em bai Mi strong long askim long en long han bilong yu. | Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. |

Na tu yu bin kisim bek tewel bilong yu. | Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul. |
| 22 | ¶ Na han bilong BIKPELA i stap antap long mi long dispela hap. Na Em i tokim mi, Kirap, go ausait long ples stret, na long dispela hap Mi bai toktok wantaim yu. | And the hand of the Lord was there upon me; and he said unto me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will there talk with thee. |
| 23 | Nau mi kirap, na go ausait long ples stret. Na, lukim, glori bilong BIKPELA i sanap long dispela hap, olsem dispela glori mi lukim klostu long wara Kebar. Na mi pundaun long pes bilong mi. | Then I arose, and went forth into the plain: and, behold, the glory of the Lord stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river of Chebar: and I fell on my face. |
| 24 | Nau dispela spirit i go insait long mi, na sanapim mi long tupela lek bilong mi, na toktok wantaim mi, na tokim mi, Go, pasim yu yet insait long haus bilong yu. | Then the spirit entered into me, and set me upon my feet, and spake with me, and said unto me, Go, shut thyself within thine house. |
| 25 | Tasol yu, O pikinini man bilong man, lukim, ol bai putim ol hankap samting antap long yu, na ol bai pasim yu wantaim ol, na yu bai i no inap go ausait namel long ol. | But thou, O son of man, behold, they shall put bands upon thee, and shall bind thee with them, and thou shalt not go out among them: |
| 26 | Na Mi bai mekim tang bilong yu pas strong long rup bilong maus bilong yu, inap long yu bai stap mauspas, na yu bai i no inap stap long ol wanpela man bilong krosim. Long wanem, ol i wanpela bikhet hauslain. | And I will make thy tongue cleave to the roof of thy mouth, that thou shalt be dumb, and shalt not be to them a reprover: for they are a rebellious house. |
| 27 | Tasol taim Mi toktok wantaim yu, Mi bai opim maus bilong yu, na yu bai tokim ol, GOD Bikpela i tok olsem. Man husat i harim, larim em harim. Na man husat i pasim bel, larim em pasim bel. Long wanem, ol i wanpela bikhet hauslain. | But when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth, and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; He that heareth, let him hear; and he that forbeareth, let him forbear: for they are a rebellious house. |
