¶ Tok bilong BIKPELA i kam gen long mi, i spik, | The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,
Pikinini man bilong man, i gat tupela meri, tupela pikinini meri bilong wanpela mama. | Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother:
Na ol i mekim ol pamuk pasin long Isip. Ol i mekim ol pamuk pasin taim ol i stap yangpela. Long dispela hap ol i krungutim ol susu bilong ol, na long dispela hap ol i bagarapim liklik ol ai bilong susu bilong pasin bilong ol bilong meri i no bin slip wantaim man. | And they committed whoredoms in Egypt; they committed whoredoms in their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they bruised the teats of their virginity.
Na nem bilong tupela em Ahola, husat i bikpela, na Aholiba, susa bilong en. Na ol i bilong Mi, na ol i karim ol pikinini man na ol pikinini meri. Ol nem bilong ol i olsem, Samaria em Ahola, na Jerusalem em Aholiba. | And the names of them were Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister: and they were mine, and they bare sons and daughters. Thus were their names; Samaria is Aholah, and Jerusalem Aholibah.
Na Ahola i pilai olsem pamuk meri taim em i bilong Mi. Na em i gat longlong laik long ol man em i laikim tru, long ol lain Asiria, ol man i stap klostu long em, | And Aholah played the harlot when she was mine; and she doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians her neighbours,
Husat i putim ol blupela klos, ol kepten na ol hetman, olgeta bilong ol i ol naispela yangpela man, ol man i ran long hos antap long ol hos. | Which were clothed with blue, captains and rulers, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding upon horses.
Olsem tasol em i mekim ol pamuk pasin bilong em wantaim ol, wantaim ol olgeta husat i stap nambawan bilong ol lain Asiria, na wantaim olgeta husat em i gat longlong laik long ol. Wantaim olgeta piksa bilong god giaman bilong ol em i mekim em yet i kamap doti. | Thus she committed her whoredoms with them, with all them that were the chosen men of Assyria, and with all on whom she doted: with all their idols she defiled herself.
Na tu em i no lusim ol pamuk pasin bilong em em i bringim long Isip. Long wanem, taim em i stap yangpela ol i slip wantaim em, na ol i bagarapim liklik ol susu bilong meri bilong taim em i no bin slip wantaim man yet bilong em, na ol i kapsaitim pamuk pasin bilong ol antap long em. | Neither left she her whoredoms brought from Egypt: for in her youth they lay with her, and they bruised the breasts of her virginity, and poured their whoredom upon her.
Olsem na Mi bin givim em i go long han bilong ol man em i laikim tru, i go long han bilong ol lain Asiria, antap long husat em i gat longlong laik. | Wherefore I have delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, upon whom she doted.
Ol dispela lain i kamapim ples klia skin nating bilong em. Ol i kisim ol pikinini man na ol pikinini meri bilong em, na kilim em i dai wantaim bainat. Na em i kisim biknem tru namel long olgeta meri. Long wanem, ol i bin mekim kot antap long em. | These discovered her nakedness: they took her sons and her daughters, and slew her with the sword: and she became famous among women; for they had executed judgment upon her.
¶ Na taim susa bilong em Aholiba i lukim dispela, em i bagarap moa long em long laikim tru bilong em God i no makim, na long ol pamuk pasin bilong em i moa long susa bilong em long ol pamuk pasin bilong em. | And when her sister Aholibah saw this, she was more corrupt in her inordinate love than she, and in her whoredoms more than her sister in her whoredoms.
Em i gat longlong laik long ol lain Asiria, ol man i stap klostu long em, ol kepten na ol hetman husat i putim ol klos i naispela nogut tru, ol man i ran long hos antap long ol hos, olgeta bilong ol i stap ol naispela yangpela man. | She doted upon the Assyrians her neighbours, captains and rulers clothed most gorgeously, horsemen riding upon horses, all of them desirable young men.
Nau Mi luksave long em i doti pinis, long ol i kisim tupela long wanpela rot, | Then I saw that she was defiled, that they took both one way,
Na long em i mekim ol pamuk pasin bilong em i kamap planti moa. Long wanem, taim em i lukim ol man ol i penim antap long banis, ol piksa god bilong ol lain Kaldia ol i penim wantaim vamilian, | And that she increased her whoredoms: for when she saw men pourtrayed upon the wall, the images of the Chaldeans pourtrayed with vermilion,
Husat i pasim ol patpela let nabaut antap long namel bilong ol bel bilong ol, na planti moa yet long kain klos ol i penim antap long ol het bilong ol, olgeta bilong ol i hetman long lukluk long ol, i bihainim pasin bilong ol lain Babilon bilong Kaldia, hap mama i karim ol. | Girded with girdles upon their loins, exceeding in dyed attire upon their heads, all of them princes to look to, after the manner of the Babylonians of Chaldea, the land of their nativity:
Na long taim stret long em i lukim ol wantaim tupela ai bilong em, em i gat longlong laik long ol, na salim ol mausman i go long ol long ples Kaldia. | And as soon as she saw them with her eyes, she doted upon them, and sent messengers unto them into Chaldea.
Na ol lain Babilon i kam long em long bet bilong laikim tru, na ol i mekim em doti wantaim ol pamuk pasin bilong ol, na em i kamap doti wantaim ol, na tingting bilong em i stap olsem ausait man long ol. | And the Babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their whoredom, and she was polluted with them, and her mind was alienated from them.
Olsem tasol em i mekim ol pamuk pasin bilong em i kamap ples klia, na mekim skin nating bilong em i kamap ples klia. Nau tingting bilong Mi i stap olsem ausait man long em, wankain olsem tingting bilong Mi i stap olsem ausait man long susa bilong em. | So she discovered her whoredoms, and discovered her nakedness: then my mind was alienated from her, like as my mind was alienated from her sister.
Yet em i mekim ol pamuk pasin bilong em i kamap planti moa, taim em i mekim ol man long tingim gen ol de em i stap yangpela, we long en em i bin pilai olsem pamuk meri long hap bilong Isip. | Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.
Long wanem, em i gat longlong laik long ol man bilong ol husat em i laikim tru, husat mit bilong ol i olsem mit bilong ol donki, na husat samting i kamaut long ol i olsem samting i kamaut long ol hos. | For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose issue is like the issue of horses.
Olsem tasol yu mekim ol man long tingim gen pamuk rot pasin bilong taim yu stap yangpela, long pasin bilong ol lain Isip i bagarapim liklik ol ai bilong susu bilong yu, long ol ai bilong susu bilong yu taim yu stap yangpela. | Thus thou calledst to remembrance the lewdness of thy youth, in bruising thy teats by the Egyptians for the paps of thy youth.
¶ Olsem na, O Aholiba, GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Lukim, Mi bai kirapim ol man yu laikim tru long birua long yu, ol husat tingting bilong yu i stap olsem ausait man long ol, na Mi bai bringim ol i kam birua long yu long olgeta wan wan sait, | Therefore, O Aholibah, thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will raise up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy mind is alienated, and I will bring them against thee on every side;
Ol lain Babilon, na olgeta lain Kaldia, Pekot, na Soa, na Koa, na olgeta lain Asiria wantaim ol, olgeta bilong ol i ol naispela yangpela man, ol kepten na ol hetman, ol bikpela bikman husat i gat nem, olgeta bilong ol i ran antap long ol hos. | The Babylonians, and all the Chaldeans, Pekod, and Shoa, and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them: all of them desirable young men, captains and rulers, great lords and renowned, all of them riding upon horses.
| And they shall come against thee with chariots, wagons, and wheels, and with an assembly of people, which shall set against thee buckler and shield and helmet round about: and I will set judgment before them, and they shall judge thee according to their judgments.
Na Mi bai putim pasin jeles bilong Mi i birua long yu, na ol bai mekim ol samting long yu wantaim belhat nogut tru. Ol bai tekewe nus bilong yu na tupela ia bilong yu. Na hap lain i stap yet bilong yu bai pundaun long bainat. Ol bai kisim ol pikinini man bilong yu na ol pikinini meri bilong yu. Na ol hap i stap yet bilong yu, paia bai kaikai olgeta. | And I will set my jealousy against thee, and they shall deal furiously with thee: they shall take away thy nose and thine ears; and thy remnant shall fall by the sword: they shall take thy sons and thy daughters; and thy residue shall be devoured by the fire.
Ol tu bai rausim yu ausait long ol klos bilong yu, na tekewe ol naispela bilas i dia tumas bilong yu. | They shall also strip thee out of thy clothes, and take away thy fair jewels.
Olsem tasol Mi bai mekim pamuk rot pasin bilong yu long pinis long yu, na ol pamuk pasin bilong yu yu bringim i kam long hap bilong Isip, inap long yu bai i no inap litimapim tupela ai bilong yu long ol, o tingim gen Isip moa liklik. | Thus will I make thy lewdness to cease from thee, and thy whoredom brought from the land of Egypt: so that thou shalt not lift up thine eyes unto them, nor remember Egypt any more.
Long wanem, GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Lukim, Mi bai givim yu i go long han bilong ol husat yu hetim, i go long han bilong ol husat tingting bilong yu i stap olsem ausait man long ol. | For thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will deliver thee into the hand of them whom thou hatest, into the hand of them from whom thy mind is alienated:
Na ol bai mekim save long yu wantaim pasin i pulap long het, na ol bai tekewe olgeta hatwok bilong yu, na ol bai lusim yu skin nating na as nating. Na skin nating bilong ol pamuk pasin bilong yu bai kamap ples klia, pamuk rot pasin bilong yu na ol pamuk pasin bilong yu wantaim. | And they shall deal with thee hatefully, and shall take away all thy labour, and shall leave thee naked and bare: and the nakedness of thy whoredoms shall be discovered, both thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.
Mi bai mekim ol dispela samting long yu, bilong wanem, yu bin go pamuk i bihainim ol haiden, na bilong wanem, yu stap doti pinis wantaim ol piksa bilong god giaman bilong ol. | I will do these things unto thee, because thou hast gone a whoring after the heathen, and because thou art polluted with their idols.
Yu bin wokabaut insait long rot bilong susa bilong yu. Olsem na Mi bai givim kap bilong em i go long han bilong yu. | Thou hast walked in the way of thy sister; therefore will I give her cup into thine hand.
GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Yu bai dring long kap bilong susa bilong yu dip na traipela. Ol bai lap long yu inap long sem bilong tok bilas na ol bai lap nogut long yu. Em i pulap planti. | Thus saith the Lord God; Thou shalt drink of thy sister’s cup deep and large: thou shalt be laughed to scorn and had in derision; it containeth much.
Yu bai pulap wantaim pasin spak na bel hevi, wantaim kap bilong kirap nogut na bilong stap nating olgeta, wantaim kap bilong susa bilong yu Samaria. | Thou shalt be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with the cup of astonishment and desolation, with the cup of thy sister Samaria.
Yes, yu bai dringim dispela na pulim wantaim maus i kam ausait, na yu bai brukim ol liklik hap bilong en, na kamautim i go tupela susu bilong yu yet. Long wanem, Mi bin toktok long en, GOD Bikpela i tok. | Thou shalt even drink it and suck it out, and thou shalt break the sherds thereof, and pluck off thine own breasts: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord God.
Olsem na GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Bikos yu bin lusim tingting long Mi, na tromoi Mi i go baksait long baksait bilong yu, olsem na yu mas karim tu ol pamuk rot pasin bilong yu na ol pamuk pasin bilong yu. | Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because thou hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.
¶ Na moa tu BIKPELA i tokim mi, Pikinini man bilong man, bai yu jasim Ahola na Aholiba? Yes, tokaut long ol long ol sting pasin bilong ol, | The Lord said moreover unto me; Son of man, wilt thou judge Aholah and Aholibah? yea, declare unto them their abominations;
Long ol i bin bagarapim marit long pamuk pasin, na blut i stap long ol han bilong ol, na wantaim ol piksa bilong god giaman bilong ol ol i bin bagarapim marit long pamuk pasin, na tu ol i bin mekim ol pikinini man bilong ol, husat ol i karim bilong Mi, long go namel long paia bilong amamasim ol, bilong kaikai ol olgeta. | That they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bare unto me, to pass for them through the fire, to devour them.
Na moa tu dispela ol i bin mekim long Mi. Ol i bin mekim rum holi bilong Mi long kamap doti long dispela de stret, na mekim ol sabat bilong Mi long sting. | Moreover this they have done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths.
Long wanem, taim ol i bin kilim i dai ol pikinini bilong ol i go long ol piksa bilong god giaman bilong ol, nau ol i kam long dispela de stret insait long rum holi bilong Mi, bilong mekim em i sting. Na, harim, olsem tasol ol i bin mekim insait long namel bilong haus bilong Mi. | For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of mine house.
Na moa tu, long yupela i bin salim tok long ol man long kam long longwe ples, husat yupela i salim mausman i go long ol. Na, harim, ol i kam, bilong husat yu bin wasim yu yet, penim ol ai bilong yu, na bilasim yu yet wantaim ol bilas. | And furthermore, that ye have sent for men to come from far, unto whom a messenger was sent; and, lo, they came: for whom thou didst wash thyself, paintedst thy eyes, and deckedst thyself with ornaments,
Na yu sindaun antap long wanpela bet i naispela tru, na wanpela tebol i stap redi long ai bilong en, we antap long dispela yu bin putim ol insens bilong Mi na wel bilong Mi. | And satest upon a stately bed, and a table prepared before it, whereupon thou hast set mine incense and mine oil.
Na wanpela nek bilong wanpela planti manmeri tru taim ol i stap isi i stap wantaim em. Na wantaim ol kain man nating, ol i bringim ol lain Siba long ples i no gat man, husat i putim ol paspas antap long ol han bilong ol, na ol naispela hat king antap long ol het bilong ol. | And a voice of a multitude being at ease was with her: and with the men of the common sort were brought Sabeans from the wilderness, which put bracelets upon their hands, and beautiful crowns upon their heads.
Nau Mi tokim meri husat i lapun pinis long ol pasin bilong bagarapim marit long pamuk pasin, Ating nau ol bai mekim pamuk pasin wantaim em, na em wantaim ol? | Then said I unto her that was old in adulteries, Will they now commit whoredoms with her, and she with them?
Yet ol i go long em, olsem ol i go long wanpela meri husat i pilai olsem pamuk meri. Olsem tasol ol i go long Ahola na long Aholiba, dispela tupela meri bilong pamuk rot pasin. | Yet they went in unto her, as they go in unto a woman that playeth the harlot: so went they in unto Aholah and unto Aholibah, the lewd women.
Na ol stretpela man, ol bai jasim ol i bihainim pasin bilong ol meri i bagarapim marit long pamuk pasin, na i bihainim pasin bilong ol meri husat i kapsaitim blut. Bilong wanem, ol i stap ol meri bilong bagarapim marit long pamuk pasin, na blut i stap long ol han bilong ol. | And the righteous men, they shall judge them after the manner of adulteresses, and after the manner of women that shed blood; because they are adulteresses, and blood is in their hands.
Long wanem, GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Mi bai bringim wanpela lain antap long ol, na Mi bai givim ol long ol i ken rausim ol i go na kisim ol kago bilong ol. | For thus saith the Lord God; I will bring up a company upon them, and will give them to be removed and spoiled.
Na dispela lain bai tromoi ol ston long ol, na pinisim ol wantaim ol bainat bilong ol. Ol bai kilim i dai ol pikinini man bilong ol na ol pikinini meri bilong ol, na kukim olgeta ol haus bilong ol wantaim paia. | And the company shall stone them with stones, and dispatch them with their swords; they shall slay their sons and their daughters, and burn up their houses with fire.
Olsem tasol bai Mi mekim pamuk rot pasin bilong pinis ausait long dispela hap, inap long olgeta meri i ken kisim skul long ol i no ken mekim i bihainim pamuk rot pasin bilong yupela. | Thus will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to do after your lewdness.
Na ol bai bekim pamuk rot pasin bilong yupela antap long yupela, na yupela bai karim ol sin bilong ol piksa bilong god giaman bilong yupela. Na yupela bai save long Mi stap GOD Bikpela. | And they shall recompense your lewdness upon you, and ye shall bear the sins of your idols: and ye shall know that I am the Lord God.
