| 2 | Nau yu, pikinini man bilong man, bai yu jasim ol, bai yu jasim biktaun i pulap long blut? Yes, yu bai soim em olgeta sting pasin bilong em. | Now, thou son of man, wilt thou judge, wilt thou judge the bloody city? yea, thou shalt shew her all her abominations. |
| 3 | Nau yu tok, GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Dispela biktaun i kapsaitim blut namel long en, inap long taim bilong em i ken kam, na em i wokim ol piksa bilong god giaman i birua long em yet bilong mekim em yet i kamap doti. | Then say thou, Thus saith the Lord God, The city sheddeth blood in the midst of it, that her time may come, and maketh idols against herself to defile herself. |

Olsem na Mi bin mekim yu wanpela samting bilong givim sem long ai bilong ol haiden, na wanpela pani long daunim long olgeta kantri. | Thou art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed; and hast defiled thyself in thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to draw near, and art come even unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the heathen, and a mocking to all countries. |

Insait long yu ol i bin givim hevi long lain i no gat papa na meri man bilong en i dai pinis. | In thee have they set light by father and mother: in the midst of thee have they dealt by oppression with the stranger: in thee have they vexed the fatherless and the widow. |

Insait long namel bilong yu ol i mekim pamuk rot pasin. | In thee are men that carry tales to shed blood: and in thee they eat upon the mountains: in the midst of thee they commit lewdness. |

Insait long yu ol i bin bagarapim meri husat ol i putim long narapela hap taim em i stap doti. | In thee have they discovered their fathers’ nakedness: in thee have they humbled her that was set apart for pollution. |

Na narapela insait long yu bin bagarapim susa bilong em, pikinini meri bilong papa bilong em. | And one hath committed abomination with his neighbour’s wife; and another hath lewdly defiled his daughter in law; and another in thee hath humbled his sister, his father’s daughter. |

Yu bin kisim winmani long dinau na winmani, na yu bin winim mani long gridi pasin long ol man i stap klostu long yu long pasin bilong pulim samting wantaim pasin nogut, na yu bin lusim tingting long Mi, GOD Bikpela i tok. | In thee have they taken gifts to shed blood; thou hast taken usury and increase, and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbours by extortion, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord God. |
| 13 | Olsem na, lukim, Mi bin paitim han bilong Mi long pasin bilong yu long winim mani long pasin i no trupela, dispela yu bin mekim, na long blut bilong yu, dispela i bin stap insait long namel bilong yu. | Behold, therefore I have smitten mine hand at thy dishonest gain which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of thee. |
| 14 | Ating bel bilong yu em i inap long stap strong yet? O ating ol han bilong yu em i inap long stap strong, long ol dispela de Mi bai mekim save long yu? Mi BIKPELA i bin toktok long en, na Mi bai mekim. | Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I the Lord have spoken it, and will do it. |
| 15 | Na Mi bai brukim yu nabaut namel long ol haiden, na tromoi yu i go long ol kantri, na Mi bai kaikai olgeta ol pasin doti tru bilong yu i go ausait long yu. | And I will scatter thee among the heathen, and disperse thee in the countries, and will consume thy filthiness out of thee. |
| 16 | Na yu bai kisim bilong yu samting papa i givim pikinini i go long yu yet long ai bilong ol haiden, na yu bai save long Mi stap BIKPELA. | And thou shalt take thine inheritance in thyself in the sight of the heathen, and thou shalt know that I am the Lord. |
| 17 | ¶ Na tok bilong BIKPELA i kam long mi, i spik, | And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, |
| 18 | Pikinini man bilong man, hauslain bilong Isrel i kamap long Mi olsem pipia. Ol olgeta i bras, na tin, na ain, na led, insait long namel bilong ples bilong strongpela paia. Yes, ol i olsem pipia bilong silva. | Son of man, the house of Israel is to me become dross: all they are brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are even the dross of silver. |
| 19 | Olsem na GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Bikos yupela olgeta i kamap pipia, lukim, olsem na Mi bai bungim yupela insait long namel bilong Jerusalem. | Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye are all become dross, behold, therefore I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem. |
| 20 | Olsem ol i bungim silva, na bras, na ain, na led, na tin, i go insait long namel bilong ples bilong strongpela paia, bilong winim dispela paia antap long en, long kukim dispela i kamap wara, olsem tasol bai Mi bungim yupela long belhat bilong Mi na long belhat nogut tru bilong Mi, na Mi bai lusim yupela long dispela hap, na kukim yupela i kamap wara. | As they gather silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt it; so will I gather you in mine anger and in my fury, and I will leave you there, and melt you. |

Na yupela bai save long Mi BIKPELA i bin kapsaitim belhat nogut tru bilong Mi antap long yupela. | As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall ye be melted in the midst thereof; and ye shall know that I the Lord have poured out my fury upon you. |

| 24 | Pikinini man bilong man, tokim em, Yu stap dispela hap ol i no klinim, o ren i no pundaun antap long en long dispela de bilong bel nogut. | Son of man, say unto her, Thou art the land that is not cleansed, nor rained upon in the day of indignation. |
| 25 | I gat wanpela tok hait bilong ol profet bilong em insait long namel bilong en, olsem wanpela laion i krai bikpela taim em i kaikai abus wantaim bikpela hangre. Ol i bin kaikai olgeta ol tewel. Ol i bin kisim ol samting i dia tru na ol samting i dia tumas. Ol i bin mekim long em i planti meri man bilong ol i dai pinis insait long namel bilong en. | There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof. |

Ol i no bin makim samting holi i stap narakain long samting i sting, na tu ol i no bin soim olsem samting i no klin i narakain long samting i klin, na ol i bin haitim ol ai bilong ol long ol sabat bilong Mi, na ol i mekim Mi sting namel long ol. | Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. |
| 27 | Ol hetman bilong em insait long namel bilong en i olsem ol wolf i kaikai abus wantaim bikpela hangre, bilong kapsaitim blut, na bilong bagarapim olgeta ol tewel, bilong winim mani long pasin i no trupela. | Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain. |
| 28 | Na ol profet bilong em i bin penim ol wantaim simen ol i no tanim gut, taim ol i lukim samting nating, na glasim ol giaman i go long ol, i spik, GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, taim BIKPELA i no bin toktok. | And her prophets have daubed them with untempered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord God, when the Lord hath not spoken. |
| 29 | Ol manmeri bilong dispela hap i bin yusim pasin bilong mekim man i kisim taim, na hatwok long raskol stil pasin, na ol i bin givim hevi long ol rabisman na ol man i gat nid. Yes, ol i bin mekim ausait man i kisim taim wantaim pasin i no stret. | The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully. |
| 30 | Na Mi painim wanpela man namel long ol, husat i ken kamap hap bilong banis bilong liklik bus, na sanap long hul bilong banis long ai bilong Mi bilong helpim dispela hap, inap long Mi no ken bagarapim dispela olgeta. Tasol Mi no lukim wanpela. | And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. |
