King bilong Babilon i strongim em yet i birua long Jerusalem long dispela de stret. | Son of man, write thee the name of the day, even of this same day: the king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem this same day. |
| 3 | Na toktok long wanpela tok piksa i go long dispela bikhet hauslain, na tokim ol, GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Putim wanpela sospen antap long paia, putim dispela antap, na tu kapsaitim wara i go insait long en. | And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Set on a pot, set it on, and also pour water into it: |

Pulimapim dispela wantaim olgeta nambawan bun tru. | Gather the pieces thereof into it, even every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones. |
| 5 | Kisim nambawan bilong ol lain sipsip, na kukim tu ol bun aninit long en, na mekim em i boil gut, na larim ol i boilim ol bun bilong en insait long en. | Take the choice of the flock, and burn also the bones under it, and make it boil well, and let them seethe the bones of it therein. |
| 6 | Olsem na GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Tok lukaut i go long dispela biktaun i pulap long blut, long sospen husat ol pipia bilong en i stap insait long en, na husat ol pipia bilong en i no go ausait long en! Bringim dispela i kam ausait, ol wan wan hap na ol wan wan hap. No ken larim wanpela hap skel i pundaun antap long en. | Wherefore thus saith the Lord God; Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum is therein, and whose scum is not gone out of it! bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it. |

| 10 | Hipim ol diwai i go antap, kirapim paia, kaikai dispela mit olgeta, na putim ol spais long en gut, na larim ol bun kuk olgeta. | Heap on wood, kindle the fire, consume the flesh, and spice it well, and let the bones be burned. |
| 11 | Nau putim em emti antap long ol sakol bilong en, inap long bras bilong en i ken i stap hatpela, na i ken kuk, na inap long olgeta doti tru bilong em i ken stap insait long en, inap long pipia bilong en em i ken kaikai olgeta. | Then set it empty upon the coals thereof, that the brass of it may be hot, and may burn, and that the filthiness of it may be molten in it, that the scum of it may be consumed. |

Bikos Mi bin klinim yu, na yu no bin kamap klin, yu bai i no inap stap klin tru long ol doti tru bilong yu moa liklik, inap long Mi bin mekim belhat nogut tru bilong Mi long slip antap long yu. | In thy filthiness is lewdness: because I have purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy filthiness any more, till I have caused my fury to rest upon thee. |

Bilong bihainim ol pasin bilong yu, na bilong bihainim ol pasin yu mekim, ol bai jasim yu, GOD Bikpela i tok. | I the Lord have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord God. |

Na tu yet bai yu no ken soim sori o krai tru, na tu ol aiwara bilong yu bai i no ken ran i go daun. | Son of man, behold, I take away from thee the desire of thine eyes with a stroke: yet neither shalt thou mourn nor weep, neither shall thy tears run down. |
| 17 | Stap isi long krai, no ken wokim soim sori long lain i dai pinis, pasim samting bilong raunim het long het bilong yu, na putim ol su bilong yu long ol lek bilong yu, na yu no ken karamapim ol lip bilong yu, na yu no ken kaikai bret bilong ol man. | Forbear to cry, make no mourning for the dead, bind the tire of thine head upon thee, and put on thy shoes upon thy feet, and cover not thy lips, and eat not the bread of men. |

Na ol pikinini man bilong yupela na ol pikinini meri bilong yupela husat yupela i gat yet bai pundaun long bainat. | Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left shall fall by the sword. |

Tasol yupela bai wok long go bun nating long ol sin nogut bilong yupela, na soim sori wanpela i go long narapela. | And your tires shall be upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet: ye shall not mourn nor weep; but ye shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourn one toward another. |

Na ol bai save long Mi stap BIKPELA. | In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and thou shalt speak, and be no more dumb: and thou shalt be a sign unto them; and they shall know that I am the Lord. |
