| 2 | Pikinini man bilong man, strongim pes bilong yu i go long Jerusalem, na lusim tok bilong yu i go daun long ol ples holi, na autim tok profet i birua long hap bilong Isrel. | Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel, |
| 3 | Na tokim hap bilong Isrel, BIKPELA i tok olsem, Lukim, Mi birua long yu, na Mi bai kamautim bainat bilong Mi i kam ausait long paus bilong en, na Mi bai rausim olgeta long yu ol stretpela man na ol man nogut. | And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked. |
| 4 | Taim yumi luksave nau long Mi bai rausim olgeta long yu ol stretpela man na ol man nogut, olsem na bainat bilong Mi bai kam ausait long paus bilong en i birua long olgeta man, i stat long hap saut i go inap long hap not, | Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of his sheath against all flesh from the south to the north: |

| 6 | Olsem na yu lusim win bilong soim wari, pikinini man bilong man, wantaim ol namel bilong bel bilong yu i bruk. Na wantaim bel i pait tru, soim wari long ai bilong ol. | Sigh therefore, thou son of man, with the breaking of thy loins; and with bitterness sigh before their eyes. |
| 7 | Na em bai stap olsem, taim ol i tokim yu, Olsem wanem na yu lusim win bilong soim wari? Long yu bai bekim, Long dispela stori. Bilong wanem, dispela i kam. Na olgeta wan wan bel bai kuk i kamap wara, na olgeta han bai i no gat strong, na olgeta wan wan spirit bai hap i dai, na olgeta skru bilong lek bai i no gat strong olsem wara. Lukim, dispela i kam, na Mi bai mekim i kamap olsem, GOD Bikpela i tok. | And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord God. |

| 10 | Ol i sapim dispela bilong wokim wanpela bikpela kilim i dai i strong tru. Ol i klinim dispela i lait moa inap long em i ken lait lait nabaut. Ating nau Yumi bai wokim pani? Em i tingting nogut long stik bilong pikinini man bilong Mi, olsem olgeta wan wan diwai. | It is sharpened to make a sore slaughter; it is furbished that it may glitter: should we then make mirth? it contemneth the rod of my son, as every tree. |
| 11 | Na Em i bin givim dispela long ol i ken klinim i lait moa, inap long ol i ken holim. Dispela bainat ol i sapim, na ol i klinim dispela i lait moa, bilong givim dispela i go long han bilong man bilong kilim i dai. | And he hath given it to be furbished, that it may be handled: this sword is sharpened, and it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer. |

Olsem na paitim antap bilong lek bilong yu. | Cry and howl, son of man: for it shall be upon my people, it shall be upon all the princes of Israel: terrors by reason of the sword shall be upon my people: smite therefore upon thy thigh. |
| 13 | Bilong wanem, em i wanpela traim, na olsem wanem sapos dispela bainat i tingting nogut, yes, long stik? Em bai i no inap stap moa, GOD Bikpela i tok. | Because it is a trial, and what if the sword contemn even the rod? it shall be no more, saith the Lord God. |
| 14 | Olsem na yu, pikinini man bilong man, autim tok profet, na paitim tupela han bilong yu wantaim, na larim bainat i kamap dabol long namba tri taim, bainat bilong ol man ol i kilim i dai. Dispela em i bainat bilong ol bikpela man husat ol i kilim i dai, husat i go insait long ol rum hait bilong ol. | Thou therefore, son of man, prophesy, and smite thine hands together, and let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of the slain: it is the sword of the great men that are slain, which entereth into their privy chambers. |

Em i kamap lait moa, ol i raunim na pasim dispela bilong stap redi long bikpela kilim i dai. | I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, that their heart may faint, and their ruins be multiplied: ah! it is made bright, it is wrapped up for the slaughter. |
| 16 | Yu go long wanpela rot o arapela, long han sut, o long han kais, long wanem hap we yu strongim pes bilong yu. | Go thee one way or other, either on the right hand, or on the left, whithersoever thy face is set. |
| 17 | Mi bai paitim tu tupela han bilong Mi wantaim, na Mi bai mekim belhat nogut tru bilong Mi long malolo. Mi BIKPELA i bin tok long dispela. | I will also smite mine hands together, and I will cause my fury to rest: I the Lord have said it. |

| 19 | Na tu yu, pikinini man bilong man, makim long yu tupela rot, inap long bainat bilong king bilong Babilon i ken kam. Tupela wantaim bai kam ausait long wanpela hap graun. Na yu makim wanpela ples, makim dispela long het bilong rot i go long biktaun. | Also, thou son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come: both twain shall come forth out of one land: and choose thou a place, choose it at the head of the way to the city. |
| 20 | Makim wanpela rot, inap long bainat i ken kam long Rabat bilong ol lain Amon, na long Juda insait long Jerusalem, ples ol i strongim long pait. | Appoint a way, that the sword may come to Rabbath of the Ammonites, and to Judah in Jerusalem the defenced. |
| 21 | Long wanem, king bilong Babilon i sanap long rot bung, long het bilong tupela rot, bilong yusim glasman pasin. Em i mekim ol spia bilong em i lait, em i painim tingting long ol piksa god, em i lukluk insait long liva. | For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination: he made his arrows bright, he consulted with images, he looked in the liver. |
| 22 | Long han sut bilong en em glasman pasin bilong Jerusalem, bilong makim ol kepten, bilong opim maus long taim bilong bikpela kilim i dai, bilong litimapim nek wantaim singaut, bilong makim ol traipela diwai bilong brukim banis i birua long ol dua bilong banis, bilong hipim wanpela liklik maunten, na bilong wokim wanpela haus soldia. | At his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to appoint captains, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to appoint battering rams against the gates, to cast a mount, and to build a fort. |

Tasol em bai mekim ol man long tingim gen ol sin nogut, inap long ol i ken kisim ol. | And it shall be unto them as a false divination in their sight, to them that have sworn oaths: but he will call to remembrance the iniquity, that they may be taken. |
| 24 | Olsem na GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Bikos yupela i bin mekim ol lain long tingim gen sin nogut bilong yupela, long dispela, ol pasin bilong yupela bilong kalapim lo i kamap ples klia, inap long insait long olgeta samting yupela i mekim, ol sin bilong yupela i kamap ples klia. Bikos, Mi tok, yupela i kam long tingting gen, ol bai kisim yupela wantaim han. | Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand. |

| 26 | GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Rausim hat king bilong glori, na rausim i go hat king. Dispela bai i no inap stap wankain. Litimapim man husat i daunbilo, na daunim man husat i stap antap. | Thus saith the Lord God; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high. |
| 27 | Mi bai kapsaitim, kapsaitim, kapsaitim, dispela. Na em bai i no inap stap moa, inap long em i kam husat dispela em i rait bilong em. Na Mi bai givim dispela long em. | I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him. |

Yes, yu tok, Bainat, bainat i kam ausait long paus. Ol i klinim i lait moa bilong bikpela kilim i dai, bilong kaikai olgeta, bilong wanem, em i lait lait nabaut, | And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord God concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even say thou, The sword, the sword is drawn: for the slaughter it is furbished, to consume because of the glittering: |
| 29 | Taim ol i lukim samting nating i go long yu, taim ol i glasim wanpela giaman i go long yu, bilong bringim yu antap long ol nek bilong ol husat ol i kilim i dai, bilong ol man nogut, husat de bilong ol i kamap pinis, taim ol sin nogut bilong ol bai gat wanpela pinis. | Whiles they see vanity unto thee, whiles they divine a lie unto thee, to bring thee upon the necks of them that are slain, of the wicked, whose day is come, when their iniquity shall have an end. |
| 30 | Ating Mi bai mekim dispela i go bek long paus bilong en? Mi bai jasim yu long ples we Mi kamapim yu long nating, long hap mama i karim yu. | Shall I cause it to return into his sheath? I will judge thee in the place where thou wast created, in the land of thy nativity. |
| 31 | Na Mi bai kapsaitim bel nogut bilong Mi antap long yu, Mi bai winim paia i birua long yu insait long paia bilong belhat tru bilong Mi, na givim yu i go long han bilong ol man i olsem animal, na i save gut long bagarapim olgeta. | And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, and skilful to destroy. |

Long wanem, Mi BIKPELA i bin toktok long en. | Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the Lord have spoken it. |
