Olsem Mi stap laip, GOD Bikpela i tok, Mi no inap larim yupela mekim askim long Mi. | Son of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Are ye come to enquire of me? As I live, saith the Lord God, I will not be enquired of by you. |

| 5 | ¶ Na tokim ol, GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Long dispela de, taim Mi makim Isrel, na litimapim han bilong Mi i go long tumbuna pikinini bilong hauslain bilong Jekop, na mekim ol i save long Mi Yet long hap bilong Isip, taim Mi litimapim han bilong Mi i go long ol, i spik, Mi stap BIKPELA, God bilong yupela, | And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; In the day when I chose Israel, and lifted up mine hand unto the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up mine hand unto them, saying, I am the Lord your God; |

Mi stap BIKPELA, God bilong yupela. | Then said I unto them, Cast ye away every man the abominations of his eyes, and defile not yourselves with the idols of Egypt: I am the Lord your God. |

Nau Mi tok, Mi bai kapsaitim belhat nogut tru bilong Mi antap long ol, bilong inapim belhat bilong Mi i birua long ol insait long namel bilong hap bilong Isip. | But they rebelled against me, and would not hearken unto me: they did not every man cast away the abominations of their eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt: then I said, I will pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt. |

| 11 | Na Mi givim ol ol lo bilong Mi Mi raitim, na soim ol ol kot bilong Mi, dispela sapos wanpela man i mekim, yes, em bai stap laip insait long ol. | And I gave them my statutes, and shewed them my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them. |
| 12 | Na moa tu Mi givim ol ol sabat bilong Mi tu, bilong stap wanpela mak namel long Mi na ol, inap long ol i ken save long Mi stap BIKPELA husat i mekim ol i stap holi. | Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the Lord that sanctify them. |

Ol i no wokabaut insait long ol lo bilong Mi Mi raitim, na ol i tingim olsem ol kot bilong Mi i samting nating, dispela sapos wanpela man i mekim, yes, em bai stap laip insait long ol. Na ol sabat bilong Mi ol i mekim i kamap doti bikpela. Nau Mi tok, Mi bai kapsaitim belhat nogut tru bilong Mi antap long ol long ples i no gat man, long kaikai ol olgeta. | But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in my statutes, and they despised my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; and my sabbaths they greatly polluted: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them. |

| 15 | Yet tu Mi litimapim han bilong Mi i go long ol long ples i no gat man, long Mi no inap bringim ol insait long dispela hap Mi bin givim ol, hap i pulap long susu na hani, dispela i stap glori bilong olgeta hap. | Yet also I lifted up my hand unto them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands; |

Long wanem, bel bilong ol i go bihainim ol piksa bilong god giaman bilong ol. | Because they despised my judgments, and walked not in my statutes, but polluted my sabbaths: for their heart went after their idols. |
| 17 | Tasol ai bilong Mi i soim sori long ol long Mi no bagarapim ol olgeta, na tu Mi no bin mekim wanpela pinis long ol long ples i no gat man. | Nevertheless mine eye spared them from destroying them, neither did I make an end of them in the wilderness. |
| 18 | Tasol Mi tokim ol pikinini bilong ol long ples i no gat man, Yupela i no ken wokabaut long ol lo ol tumbuna papa bilong yupela i raitim, o bihainim ol kot bilong ol, o mekim yupela yet i kamap doti wantaim ol piksa bilong god giaman bilong ol. | But I said unto their children in the wilderness, Walk ye not in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols: |
| 19 | Mi stap BIKPELA, God bilong yupela. Wokabaut insait long ol lo bilong Mi Mi raitim, na holimpas ol kot bilong Mi, na mekim ol. | I am the Lord your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; |
| 20 | Na mekim ol sabat bilong Mi holi olgeta. Na ol bai stap wanpela mak namel long Mi na yupela, inap long yupela i ken save long Mi stap BIKPELA, God bilong yupela. | And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the Lord your God. |

Nau Mi tok, Mi bai kapsaitim belhat nogut tru bilong Mi antap long ol, long inapim belhat bilong Mi i birua long ol long ples i no gat man. | Notwithstanding the children rebelled against me: they walked not in my statutes, neither kept my judgments to do them, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; they polluted my sabbaths: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness. |
| 22 | Tasol Mi surikim han bilong Mi, na pait strong long lukautim nem bilong Mi, inap long em i no ken kamap doti long ai bilong ol haiden, long hap ai bilong husat i lukim Mi bringim ol i kam ausait. | Nevertheless I withdrew mine hand, and wrought for my name’s sake, that it should not be polluted in the sight of the heathen, in whose sight I brought them forth. |
| 23 | Mi litimapim han bilong Mi i go long ol tu long ples i no gat man, long Mi bai brukim ol nabaut namel long ol haiden, na tromoi ol i go namel long ol kantri. | I lifted up mine hand unto them also in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the heathen, and disperse them through the countries; |
| 24 | Bilong wanem, ol i no bin mekim ol kot bilong Mi, tasol ol i bin tingim olsem ol lo bilong Mi Mi raitim i samting nating, na ol i bin mekim ol sabat bilong Mi kamap doti, na ol ai bilong ol i bihainim ol piksa bilong god giaman bilong ol tumbuna papa bilong ol. | Because they had not executed my judgments, but had despised my statutes, and had polluted my sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers’ idols. |
| 25 | Olsem na Mi givim ol tu ol lo ol man i raitim i no gutpela, na ol kot we ol i no ken stap laip long ol. | Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments whereby they should not live; |
| 26 | Na Mi mekim ol doti insait long ol presen bilong ol yet, long dispela, ol i mekim olgeta husat i opim pastaim bel bilong mama long go namel long paia, inap long Mi ken mekim ol i stap nating olgeta, long dispela pinis, long ol i ken save long Mi stap BIKPELA. | And I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am the Lord. |
| 27 | ¶ Olsem na, pikinini man bilong man, toktok long hauslain bilong Isrel, na tokim ol, GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Yet long dispela ol tumbuna papa bilong yupela i bin tok bilas long Mi, long dispela, ol i bin mekim wanpela pasin bilong sakim lo i birua long Mi. | Therefore, son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Yet in this your fathers have blasphemed me, in that they have committed a trespass against me. |
| 28 | Long wanem, taim Mi bin bringim ol i go insait long dispela hap, dispela ples Mi litimapim han bilong Mi bilong givim dispela long ol, nau ol i lukim olgeta wan wan liklik maunten i antap, na olgeta patpela diwai, na ol i ofaim long dispela hap ol sakrifais bilong ol, na long dispela hap ol i givim ol dispela ofa bilong ol i wok bilong skrapim bel bilong Mi. Long dispela hap tu ol i mekim ol switpela smel bilong ol, na kapsaitim ol ofa bilong dring bilong ol long dispela hap. | For when I had brought them into the land, for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to them, then they saw every high hill, and all the thick trees, and they offered there their sacrifices, and there they presented the provocation of their offering: there also they made their sweet savour, and poured out there their drink offerings. |

Na ating yupela i mekim pamuk pasin i bihainim ol sting pasin bilong ol? | Wherefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord God; Are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers? and commit ye whoredom after their abominations? |
| 31 | Long wanem, taim yupela i ofaim ol presen bilong yupela, taim yupela i mekim ol pikinini man bilong yupela long go namel long paia, yupela i mekim yupela yet i kamap doti wantaim olgeta piksa bilong god giaman bilong yupela, yes, i kam inap long tude. Na bai Mi larim yupela mekim askim long Mi, O hauslain bilong Isrel? Olsem Mi stap laip, GOD Bikpela i tok, Mi no inap larim yupela mekim askim long Mi. | For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day: and shall I be enquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord God, I will not be enquired of by you. |
| 32 | Na dispela samting i kam insait long tingting bilong yupela bai i no inap kamap liklik, dispela yupela i tok, Mipela bai stap olsem ol haiden, olsem ol famili bilong ol kantri, bilong bihainim diwai na ston. | And that which cometh into your mind shall not be at all, that ye say, We will be as the heathen, as the families of the countries, to serve wood and stone. |
| 33 | ¶ Olsem Mi stap laip, GOD Bikpela i tok, tru tumas, wantaim wanpela han i gat strong, na wantaim wanpela han Mi stretim i go ausait, na wantaim belhat nogut tru i kapsait, bai Mi bosim yupela. | As I live, saith the Lord God, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you: |
| 34 | Na Mi bai bringim yupela ausait i lusim ol manmeri, na Mi bai bungim yupela ausait long ol kantri we yupela i bruk nabaut long ol, wantaim wanpela han i gat strong, na wantaim wanpela han Mi stretim i go ausait, na wantaim belhat nogut tru i kapsait. | And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out. |
| 35 | Na Mi bai bringim yupela insait long ples i no gat man bilong ol manmeri, na long dispela hap bai Mi toktok wantaim strongpela askim wantaim yupela taim pes i lukim pes. | And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face. |
| 36 | Olsem Mi toktok wantaim strongpela askim wantaim ol tumbuna papa bilong yupela long ples i no gat man bilong hap bilong Isip, olsem tasol Mi bai toktok wantaim strongpela askim wantaim yupela, GOD Bikpela i tok. | Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord God. |
| 37 | Na Mi bai mekim yupela long wokabaut aninit long stik, na Mi bai bringim yupela insait long promis bilong dispela kontrak. | And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant: |
| 38 | Na Mi bai klinim i go ausait ol bikhet man i stap namel long yupela, na ol husat i kalapim lo i birua long Mi. Mi bai bringim ol i kam ausait long kantri we ol i stap waira long en, na ol bai i no inap go insait long hap bilong Isrel. Na yupela bai save long Mi stap BIKPELA. | And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the Lord. |
| 39 | Long sait bilong yupela, O hauslain bilong Isrel, GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Yupela go, yupela olgeta wan wan go bihainim ol piksa bilong god giaman bilong em, na bihain long nau tu, sapos yupela i no laik harim long Mi. Tasol yupela i no ken mekim doti nem holi bilong Mi moa wantaim ol presen bilong yupela, na wantaim ol piksa bilong god giaman bilong yupela. | As for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord God; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter also, if ye will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my holy name no more with your gifts, and with your idols. |

Long dispela hap bai Mi orait long kisim ol, na long dispela hap bai Mi strong long askim long ol ofa bilong yupela, na ol namba wan pikinini kaikai yupela i kamautim bilong ol ofa bilong yupela, wantaim olgeta samting holi bilong yupela. | For in mine holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord God, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, serve me: there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the firstfruits of your oblations, with all your holy things. |

Na Mi bai stap holi insait long yupela long ai bilong ol haiden. | I will accept you with your sweet savour, when I bring you out from the people, and gather you out of the countries wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you before the heathen. |
| 42 | Na yupela bai save long Mi stap BIKPELA, taim Mi bai bringim yupela insait long hap bilong Isrel, insait long dispela kantri Mi litimapim han bilong Mi long en bilong givim dispela long ol tumbuna papa bilong yupela. | And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the country for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to your fathers. |

Na yupela bai les olgeta long yupela yet long ai bilong yupela yet long olgeta dispela pasin nogut yupela i bin mekim. | And there shall ye remember your ways, and all your doings, wherein ye have been defiled; and ye shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for all your evils that ye have committed. |
| 44 | Na yupela bai save long Mi stap BIKPELA, taim Mi bin pait strong wantaim yupela bilong tingim nem bilong Mi, i no bilong bihainim ol pasin nogut bilong yupela, o bilong bihainim ol bagarap pasin bilong yu, O yupela hauslain bilong Isrel, GOD Bikpela i tok. | And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have wrought with you for my name’s sake, not according to your wicked ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, O ye house of Israel, saith the Lord God. |
| 45 | ¶ Na moa tu tok bilong BIKPELA i kam long mi, i spik, | Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, |
| 46 | Pikinini man bilong man, strongim pes bilong yu go daun long hap saut, na lusim tok bilong yu i go long hap saut, na autim tok profet i birua long bikbus bilong ples kunai bilong hap saut. | Son of man, set thy face toward the south, and drop thy word toward the south, and prophesy against the forest of the south field; |
| 47 | Na tokim bikbus bilong hap saut, Harim tok bilong BIKPELA. GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Lukim, Mi bai kirapim wanpela paia insait long yu, na em bai kaikai olgeta olgeta wan wan diwai i grinpela insait long yu, na olgeta wan wan diwai i drai. Dispela paia i paia moa bai i no inap dai, na olgeta pes long hap saut i go long hap not bai kuk insait long en. | And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein. |
