| 3 | GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Tok lukaut i go long ol kranki profet, husat i bihainim spirit bilong ol yet, na husat i no bin lukim wanpela samting! | Thus saith the Lord God; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! |
| 4 | O Isrel, ol profet bilong yu i stap olsem ol foks long ol ples i no gat man. | O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts. |
| 5 | Yupela i no bin go antap insait long ol ples bruk, o stretim banis bilong liklik bus bilong hauslain bilong Isrel bilong sanap long pait long de bilong BIKPELA. | Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the Lord. |

Na ol i bin mekim ol arapela long hop long ol bai strongim dispela tok. | They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The Lord saith: and the Lord hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word. |
| 7 | Ating i yes long yupela i lukim wanpela driman samting nating, na ating i yes long yupela i toktok long giaman glasman samting, we yupela i tok olsem, BIKPELA i tok olsem, tasol Mi no bin toktok? | Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The Lord saith it; albeit I have not spoken? |
| 8 | Olsem na GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Bikos yupela i bin toktok nating, na lukim ol giaman samting, olsem na, lukim, Mi birua long yupela, GOD Bikpela i tok. | Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord God. |

Na yupela bai save long Mi stap GOD Bikpela. | And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord God. |

Na wanpela win nogut bai brukim dispela. | Say unto them which daub it with untempered morter, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it. |
| 12 | Harim, taim banis i pundaun pinis, ating i yes long ol bai tokim yupela, Dispela penim we yupela i bin yusim long penim dispela i stap we? | Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it? |
| 13 | Olsem na, GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Yes, Mi bai brukim dispela wantaim wanpela win nogut long belhat nogut tru bilong Mi. Na bai gat wanpela ren i karamapim olgeta long belhat bilong Mi, na ol bikpela ston ais long belhat nogut tru bilong Mi bilong kaikai dispela olgeta. | Therefore thus saith the Lord God; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it. |

Na yupela bai save long Mi stap BIKPELA. | So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the Lord. |

| 16 | Em i olsem, ol profet bilong Isrel husat i autim tok profet long sait bilong Jerusalem, na husat i lukim ol driman samting bilong bel isi bilong en, na i no gat bel isi, GOD Bikpela i tok. | To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord God. |

Na yu autim tok profet i birua long ol. | Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them, |
| 18 | Na tok, GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Tok lukaut i go long ol meri husat i samapim olgeta pilo long olgeta hul bilong han, na wokim ol liklik laplap antap long het bilong olgeta wan wan, bikpela na liklik, bilong painim ol tewel! Bai yupela painim ol tewel bilong lain manmeri bilong Mi, na bai yupela kisim bek i stap laip ol tewel husat i kam long yupela? | And say, Thus saith the Lord God; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you? |
| 19 | Na bai yupela mekim Mi doti namel long lain manmeri bilong Mi, bilong kisim ol han i pulap bilong bali na ol hap hap bilong bret, bilong kilim i dai ol tewel husat i no mas dai, na bilong kisim bek i stap laip ol tewel husat i no gutpela long stap laip, long ol giaman bilong yupela long lain manmeri bilong Mi husat i harim ol giaman bilong yupela? | And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies? |
| 20 | Olsem na GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Lukim, Mi stap birua long ol pilo bilong yupela, we yupela i yusim long painim ol tewel long mekim ol i flai, na Mi bai brukim ol i lusim ol han bilong yupela, na Mi bai larim ol tewel i go, yes, ol tewel husat yupela i painim bilong mekim ol i flai. | Wherefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly. |

Na yupela bai save long Mi stap BIKPELA. | Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the Lord. |
| 22 | Bilong wanem, wantaim ol giaman yupela i bin mekim bel bilong ol stretpela man i pilim hevi, husat Mi no bin mekim ol pilim hevi, na strongim ol han bilong man nogut, inap long em i no ken tanim bek na lusim pasin nogut bilong em, taim yupela i promisim em laip. | Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life: |

Na yupela bai save long Mi stap BIKPELA. | Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the Lord. |
