| 2 | Na tok bilong BIKPELA i kam long mi, i spik, | And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, |
| 3 | Pikinini man bilong man, ol dispela man i bin sanapim ol piksa bilong god giaman bilong ol insait long bel bilong ol, na putim ol sin nogut bilong ol i sutim lek bilong ol long ai bilong pes bilong ol. Ating Mi ken larim ol i askim liklik long Mi? | Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them? |
| 4 | Olsem na toktok long ol, na tokim ol, GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Olgeta wan wan man bilong hauslain bilong Isrel husat i sanapim ol piksa bilong god giaman bilong em insait long bel bilong em, na putim ol sin nogut bilong sutim lek bilong em long ai bilong pes bilong em, na em i kam long profet, Mi BIKPELA bai bekim em husat i kam bilong bihainim planti namba tru bilong ol piksa bilong god giaman bilong em. | Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the Lord will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols; |

Na tanim i go ol pes bilong yupela i lusim olgeta sting pasin bilong yupela. | Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord God; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations. |
| 7 | Long wanem, olgeta wan wan bilong hauslain bilong Isrel, o bilong ausait man husat i stap waira long Isrel, husat i brukim em yet long Mi, na sanapim ol piksa bilong god giaman bilong em insait long bel bilong em, na putim ol sin nogut bilong em olsem samting bilong sutim lek long ai bilong pes bilong em, na kam long wanpela profet bilong askim long em long sait bilong Mi, Mi BIKPELA bai bekim em Mi Yet. | For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourneth in Israel, which separateth himself from me, and setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to a prophet to enquire of him concerning me; I the Lord will answer him by myself: |

| 9 | Na sapos profet i stap paul taim em i bin toktok long wanpela samting, Mi BIKPELA i bin paulim dispela profet, na Mi bai stretim han bilong Mi antap long em, na Mi bai bagarapim em olgeta ausait long namel bilong lain manmeri bilong Mi Isrel. | And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the Lord have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel. |

Mekim save bilong profet, yes, bai stap wankain olsem mekim save bilong man husat i kam painim tok long em, | And they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity: the punishment of the prophet shall be even as the punishment of him that seeketh unto him; |

Tasol Mi bai mekim inap long ol i ken stap lain manmeri bilong Mi, na Mi ken stap God bilong ol, GOD Bikpela i tok. | That the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither be polluted any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, saith the Lord God. |

| 13 | Pikinini man bilong man, taim dispela hap i mekim sin i birua long Mi taim em i sakim lo nogut tru, orait bai Mi stretim han bilong Mi antap long en, na Mi bai brukim strong bilong bret bilong en, na Mi bai salim bikpela taim hangre antap long en, na Mi bai rausim man na animal olgeta long en. | Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it: |
| 14 | Maski dispela tripela man, Noa, Danyel, na Jop i stap long en, ol i ken kisim bek tewel bilong ol yet tasol long stretpela pasin bilong ol, GOD Bikpela i tok. | Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord God. |
| 15 | Sapos Mi mekim ol animal i karim sik long wokabaut namel long dispela hap, na ol i bagarapim dispela, inap long em i stap nating olgeta, inap long i no gat man i ken wokabaut namel long en bikos ol dispela animal i stap, | If I cause noisome beasts to pass through the land, and they spoil it, so that it be desolate, that no man may pass through because of the beasts: |
| 16 | Maski dispela tripela man i stap long en, olsem Mi stap laip, GOD Bikpela i tok, ol bai i no inap kisim bek ol pikinini man o ol pikinini meri. Ol tasol bai kisim bek ol yet, tasol dispela hap bai stap nating olgeta. | Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord God, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters; they only shall be delivered, but the land shall be desolate. |
| 17 | O sapos Mi bringim wanpela bainat antap long dispela hap, na tok, Bainat, go namel long dispela hap, inap long Mi ken rausim man na animal olgeta long en, | Or if I bring a sword upon that land, and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off man and beast from it: |
| 18 | Maski dispela tripela man i stap long en, olsem Mi stap laip, GOD Bikpela i tok, ol bai i no inap kisim bek ol pikinini man o ol pikinini meri, tasol ol bai kisim bek ol yet tasol. | Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord God, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only shall be delivered themselves. |
| 19 | O sapos Mi salim wanpela sik nogut i go long dispela hap, na kapsaitim belhat nogut tru bilong Mi antap long en long blut, bilong rausim man na animal olgeta long en, | Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my fury upon it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast: |

Ol bai kisim bek ol tewel bilong ol yet tasol long stretpela pasin bilong ol. | Though Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live, saith the Lord God, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness. |
| 21 | Long wanem, GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Hamas moa, taim Mi salim fopela kot i strong tru bilong Mi antap long Jerusalem, bainat, bikpela taim hangre, na animal i karim sik, na sik nogut, bilong rausim olgeta long en man na animal? | For thus saith the Lord God; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast? |

Na yupela bai kisim bel isi long sait bilong ol dispela pasin nogut Mi bin bringim antap long Jerusalem, yes, long sait bilong olgeta samting Mi bin bringim antap long en. | Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their way and their doings: and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it. |
