| 1 | ¶ Na ol dispela i ol strongpela tok na ol strongpela tok i stap long buk, na ol tok long pe bilong kot God BIKPELA bilong yupela i bin givim strongpela tok long ol long skulim yupela, bai yupela i ken bihainim ol long graun yupela i go long em long holimpas em. | Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the Lord your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it: |

Mi givim strongpela tok long dispela long yu na pikinini man bilong yu na tumbuna pikinini man bilong yu long bihainim olgeta de long laip bilong yu na long ol de bilong yu i ken i stap planti. | That thou mightest fear the Lord thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged. |

| 5 | Na yu mas laikim tru God BIKPELA bilong yu long olgeta hap bilong bel bilong yu na long olgeta hap bilong tewel bilong yu na long olgeta strong bilong yu. | And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. |
| 6 | Na ol dispela tok Mi givim strongpela tok long em long yu dispela de, em i mas i stap long bel bilong yu. | And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: |
| 7 | Na yu mas strong long skulim ol pikinini bilong yu long ol. Na yu mas tokaut long ol taim yu sindaun long haus bilong yu, na taim yu wokabaut long rot, na taim yu slipim yu yet, na taim yu kirap. | And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. |
| 8 | Na yu mas pasim ol bilong i stap wanpela mak long han bilong yu, na ol i mas i stap long samting yu pasim long poret namel long tupela ai bilong yu. | And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. |
| 9 | Na yu mas raitim ol antap long ol pos bilong haus bilong yu, na long ol dua bilong banis bilong yu. | And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates. |
| 10 | Na em bai stap taim God BIKPELA bilong yu i bin bringim yu insait long dispela hap graun, em graun Em i bin tok tru antap long ol papa bilong yu, long Ebraham, na long Aisak, na long Jekop, long givim yu ol bikpela na gutpela biktaun, na yu no bin wokim ol, | And it shall be, when the Lord thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not, |
| 11 | Na ol haus i pulap long olgeta gutpela samting na yu no bin pulapim ol, na ol hul wara wanpela i bin digim na yu no bin digim ol na ol gaden bilong diwai wain na ol diwai oliv na yu no bin planim ol. Taim yu bin kaikai na stap bel tait, | And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full; |
| 12 | Long dispela taim lukaut, nogut yu lusim tingting long BIKPELA dispela wanpela i bringim yu i kamaut long graun bilong Isip long ples bilong kalabus. | Then beware lest thou forget the Lord, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. |
| 13 | Yu mas pret long God BIKPELA bilong yu na mekim wok bilong Em na yu mas tok tru antap long nem bilong Em. | Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name. |
| 14 | Yupela i no ken bihainim ol arapela god, em ol god bilong ol manmeri i stap raun nabaut long yupela. | Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you; |
| 15 | (Long wanem God BIKPELA bilong yu e m i jeles God namel long yupela). Nogut belhat bilong God BIKPELA bilong yu i kirap long yu na bagarapim yu long lusim pes bilong dispela graun. | (For the Lord thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the Lord thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth. |
| 16 | Yupela i no ken traim God BIKPELA bilong yupela olsem yupela i bin traim Em long Masa. | Ye shall not tempt the Lord your God, as ye tempted him in Massah. |
| 17 | ¶ Yupela i mas strong long bihainim ol strongpela tok bilong God BIKPELA bilong yupela na ol testimoni bilong Em, na ol strongpela tok i bilong Em i stap long buk, Em i bin givim strongpela tok long yu long ol dispela. | Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee. |
| 18 | Na yu mas mekim ol samting i stretpela na gutpela long ai bilong BIKPELA, bai em i ken stap gut long yu, na long yu ken i go insait na kisim dispela gutpela graun BIKPELA i bin tok tru antap long dispela long ol papa bilong yu. | And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of the Lord: that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, |
| 19 | Yu mas rausim olgeta birua bilong yu long i stap long pes bilong yu, olsem BIKPELA i bin tok. | To cast out all thine enemies from before thee, as the Lord hath spoken. |
| 20 | Na taim pikinini man bilong yu i askim yu long taim i laik kamap, na em i tok, Wanem em i mining bilong ol testimoni na ol strongpela tok i stap long buk na ol tok long pe bilong kot God BIKPELA bilong yumi i bin givim strongpela tok long yupela long ol? | And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the Lord our God hath commanded you? |
| 21 | Long dispela taim yu mas tok long pikinini man bilong yu olsem, Mipela i bin i stap ol wokboi nating bilong Fero long Isip na BIKPELA i bringim mipela i lusim Isip long han i strong tru. | Then thou shalt say unto thy son, We were Pharaoh’s bondmen in Egypt; and the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand: |
| 22 | Na BIKPELA i soim ol mak na ol samting i winim tingting, em ol bikpela samting na strongpela samting i kamap long Isip na long Fero na long olgeta wanhaus bilong em, long ol ai bilong mipela. | And the Lord shewed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes: |
| 23 | Na Em i bringim mipela i kamaut long dispela hap, bai Em i ken bringim mipela i kam insait long givim mipela dispela hap graun Em i bin tok tru antap long dispela long ol papa bilong mipela. | And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers. |
| 24 | Na BIKPELA i givim strongpela tok long mipela long bihainim olgeta bilong dispela ol strongpela tok i stap long buk na long pret long God BIKPELA bilong yumi bilong helpim mipela olgeta taim, bai Em i ken helpim yumi stap laip, olsem em i stap dispela de. | And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day. |
| 25 | Na dispela bai stap stretpela pasin bilong yumi sapos yumi hatwok long bihainim olgeta bilong dispela ol strongpela tok long pes bilong God BIKPELA bilong yumi, olsem Em i bin givim strongpela tok long yumi. | And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the Lord our God, as he hath commanded us. |
