| 2 | God BIKPELA bilong yumi i bin wokim kontrak wantaim yumi long Horep. | The Lord our God made a covenant with us in Horeb. |
| 3 | BIKPELA i no wokim dispela kontrak wantaim ol papa bilong yumi, tasol wantaim yumi, yes em yumi, em olgeta bilong yumi i stap hia long dispela de.. | The Lord made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day. |
| 4 | BIKPELA i bin toktok wantaim yupela long pes i lukim pes long maunten na tok i kamaut long namel long paia. | The Lord talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire, |

Na Em i tok, | (I stood between the Lord and you at that time, to shew you the word of the Lord: for ye were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying, |

| 8 | Yu no ken wokim bilong yupela wanpela piksa o wanpela piksa ol i sapim long wanpela samting i stap long heven antap o i stap long dispela graun daunbilo, o i stap long ol wara aninit long dispela graun. | Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth: |

Long wanem Mi God BIKPELA bilong yu em i jeles God, na Mi makim sin bilong ol papa i go long ol pikinini inap long tripela o fopela lain tumbuna pikinini bilong ol lain i no laikim tru Mi. | Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me, |
| 10 | Na Mi soim sori i go long ol tausen bilong ol manmeri i laikim tru Mi, na bihainim ol strongpela tok bilong Mi. | And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments. |
| 11 | Yu no ken yusim nating nem bilong God BIKPELA bilong yu. Long wanem BIKPELA bai i no makim man klinpela sapos em i yusim nating nem bilong Em. | Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. |
| 12 | Bihainim de sabat long makim dispela, olsem God BIKPELA bilong yu i bin givim strongpela tok long yu. | Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee. |
| 13 | Sikispela de yu ken hatwok na mekim olgeta wok bilong yu. | Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work: |

Long em yu no ken mekim wanpela wok, yu, o pikinini man bilong yu, o pikinini meri bilong yu, o wokboi bilong yu, o wokmeri bilong yu, o bulmakau bilong yu, o donki bilong yu, o olgeta bilong ol bulmakau samting bilong yu, o man bilong narapela hap i stap insait long dua bilong banis bilong yu, bai wokboi bilong yu na wokmeri bilong yu i ken malolo olsem yu mekim. | But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou. |

Olsem na God BIKPELA bilong yu i givim strongpela tok long yu long bihainim de sabat. | And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the Lord thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the Lord thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day. |
| 16 | Givim ona long papa bilong yu na mama bilong yu olsem God BIKPELA bilong yu i bin givim strongpela tok long yu, bai ol de bilong yu i ken kamap planti moa na yu ken i stap gut long graun God BIKPELA bilong yu i givim long yu. | Honour thy father and thy mother, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. |
| 17 | Yu no ken kilim i dai narapela. | Thou shalt not kill. |
| 18 | Na tu yu no ken bagarapim marit long pasin pamuk. | Neither shalt thou commit adultery. |
| 19 | Na tu yu no ken stil. | Neither shalt thou steal. |
| 20 | Na tu yu no ken mekim tok giaman long kotim man i stap klostu long yu. | Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbour. |
| 21 | Na tu yu no ken mangal long kisim meri bilong man i stap klostu long yu. Na tu yu no ken mangal long kisim haus bilong man i stap klostu long yu, o graun bilong em, o wokboi bilong em, o wokmeri bilong em, o bulmakau bilong em, o donki bilong em, o wanpela samting bilong man i stap klostu long yu. | Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour’s wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour’s house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is thy neighbour’s. |

Na Em i raitim ol dispela long tupela hap ston na Em i givim tupela long mi. | These words the Lord spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me. |
| 23 | ¶ Na em i kamap olsem, taim yupela i harim dispela nek i kamaut long namel bilong bikpela tudak, (long wanem maunten i kuk long paia), yupela i kam klostu long mi, em olgeta hetman bilong ol lain bilong yupela na ol lapun hetman bilong yupela. | And it came to pass, when ye heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with fire,) that ye came near unto me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders; |
| 24 | Na yupela i tok, Lukim God BIKPELA bilong yumi i soim yumi glori bilong Em, na bikpela bilong Em, na yumi i harim nek bilong Em i kamaut long namel bilong paia. Dispela de yumi lukluk long God i tok wantaim man na em i stap laip. | And ye said, Behold, the Lord our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth. |

Sapos mipela i harim nek bilong God BIKPELA bilong yumi wanpela taim moa, orait mipela bai i dai pinis. | Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of the Lord our God any more, then we shall die. |
| 26 | Long wanem, husat bilong olgeta manmeri i bin harim nek bilong God i stap laip taim tok bilong Em i kamaut long namel long paia, olsem mipela na ol i stap laip? | For who is there of all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived? |

Na yu mas tokaut long mipela long olgeta samting God BIKPELA bilong yumi i tokaut long yu, na bai mipela i harim dispela na bihainim dispela. | Go thou near, and hear all that the Lord our God shall say: and speak thou unto us all that the Lord our God shall speak unto thee; and we will hear it, and do it. |
| 28 | Na BIKPELA i harim nek bilong ol tok bilong yupela taim yupela i toktok long mi. Na BIKPELA i tok long mi, Mi bin harim nek bilong ol tok bilong dispela manmeri, ol i bin toktok long yu long dispela. Ol i tok tru long olgeta samting ol bin toktok long em. | And the Lord heard the voice of your words, when ye spake unto me; and the Lord said unto me, I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken unto thee: they have well said all that they have spoken. |

| 31 | Tasol bilong yu, yu mas sanap hia klostu long Mi na bai Mi tok long yu long olgeta strongpela tok na ol strongpela tok i stap long buk na ol pe bilong kot. Yu mas skulim ol long ol, bai ol i ken bihainim ol long dispela graun Mi givim long ol long i stap long em. | But as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it. |
| 32 | Olsem na yupela i mas strong long bihainim olsem God BIKPELA bilong yupela i bin givim strongpela tok long yupela. Yupela i no ken tanim yupela yet long han sut o long han kais bilong lusim stretpela rot. | Ye shall observe to do therefore as the Lord your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. |
| 33 | Yupela i mas wokabaut long olgeta pasin God BIKPELA bilong yupela i bin givim yupela strongpela tok long em, bai yupela i ken stap laip, na long yupela i ken stap gut na long yupela i ken mekim ol de yupela i stap long dispela hap graun i kamap planti moa, em graun yupela bai stap long em. | Ye shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess. |
