Na tu yupela i no ken rausim wanpela tok long dispela, bai yupela i ken bihainim ol strongpela tok bilong God BIKPELA bilong yupela na mi givim yupela strongpela tok long em. | Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. |
Ol ai bilong yupela i bin lukim wanem samting BIKPELA i mekim taim Beal-pior i kamap. Long wanem olgeta man i bihainim Beal-pior, God BIKPELA bilong yu i bin bagarapim ol olgeta long namel long yupela. | Your eyes have seen what the Lord did because of Baal–peor: for all the men that followed Baal–peor, the Lord thy God hath destroyed them from among you.
Tasol yupela husat i pas wantaim BIKPELA, em God bilong yupela, olgeta wan wan bilong yupela i stap laip dispela de. | But ye that did cleave unto the Lord your God are alive every one of you this day.

Tokaut klia long dispela de yu bin sanap long pes bilong God BIKPELA bilong yu long Horep, em taim BIKPELA i tok long mi olsem, Bungim ol manmeri wantaim long Mi, na bai Mi mekim ol i harim ol tok bilong Mi, bai ol i ken pret long Mi olgeta de ol i stap laip long dispela graun, na bai ol i ken skulim ol pikinini bilong ol. | Specially the day that thou stoodest before the Lord thy God in Horeb, when the Lord said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.
Na yupela i kam klostu na sanap long as bilong maunten. Na maunten i kuk long paia i go inap long namel long heven, na dispela i stap wantaim tudak, na ol klaut, na bikpela tudak. | And ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness.
Na BIKPELA i tok long yupela long namel long dispela paia. Yupela i bin harim nek bilong ol tok, tasol yupela i no lukim wanpela i stap, yupela i harim wanpela nek tasol. | And the Lord spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice.
Na Em i tokaut long yupela long kontrak bilong Em, Em i bin givim strongpela tok long yupela long mekim, em dispela tenpela lo. Na Em i raitim ol long tupela stretpela hap ston. | And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.

O luk olsem wanpela animal i stap long dispela graun, o i luk olsem wanpela pisin i flai long win, | The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flieth in the air,
O i luk olsem wanpela samting i wokabaut long bel long graun, o i luk olsem wanpela pis i stap long ol wara i daunbilo long dispela graun. | The likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth:

Em ol God BIKPELA bilong yu i bin makim long i go long olgeta kantri i stap aninit long olgeta hap bilong heven. | And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the Lord thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven. |
Tasol BIKPELA i bin kisim yupela na bringim yupela i kamaut long aven ain, em ausait long Isip, long i stap wanpela pipel i go long Em bilong kisim ol samting long papa, olsem yupela i stap dispela de. | But the Lord hath taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, even out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as ye are this day.

Na mi no ken i go insait long dispela gutpela graun God BIKPELA bilong yu i bin givim yu olsem samting papa i laik givim pikinini bilong em. | Furthermore the Lord was angry with me for your sakes, and sware that I should not go over Jordan, and that I should not go in unto that good land, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance: |
Tasol mi mas i dai pinis long dispela graun. Mi no ken i go hapsait long Jordan, tasol yupela bai go hapsait na kisim dispela gutpela graun. | But I must die in this land, I must not go over Jordan: but ye shall go over, and possess that good land.

Long wanem God BIKPELA bilong yu em i wanpela paia i kukim olgeta, yes Em i wanpela God i jeles. | For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.
Taim yu kamap papa bilong ol pikinini na ol tumbuna pikinini na yu bin sindaun longpela taim long dispela hap graun, na yu bai paulim yupela yet na wokim wanpela piksa long god giaman, o samting i luk olsem wanpela samting, na mekim pasin i nogut long ai bilong God BIKPELA bilong yu, long kirapim Em long belhat, | When thou shalt beget children, and children’s children, and ye shall have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, and shall do evil in the sight of the Lord thy God, to provoke him to anger:
Orait mi singaut long heven na dispela graun long i stap witnes bilong kotim yupela long dispela de. Yupela i no inap mekim ol de yupela i stap long dispela graun i kamap planti, tasol yupela bai kisim bagarap olgeta. | I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed.
Na BIKPELA bai tromoim nabaut yupela namel long ol kantri. Na yupela bai stap liklik lain namel long ol haiden long wanem hap BIKPELA i stiaim yupela. | And the Lord shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the Lord shall lead you.
Na long dispela hap graun yupela bai bihainim ol god, em wok bilong ol han bilong ol man long diwai na ston. Ol i no inap lukluk o harim o kaikai o smelim. | And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.
Tasol sapos long dispela hap yu wok long painim God BIKPELA bilong yu, yu bai painim pinis Em sapos yu wok long painim Em long bel olgeta bilong yu na long sol olgeta bilong yu. | But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

Em i gat wanpela taim wanpela lain manmeri i bin harim nek bilong God i tokaut namel long paia olsem yu bin harim na ol i stap laip? | Did ever people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard, and live?

God i bin soim dispela long yu, bai yu ken save long BIKPELA Em i stap God, na i no gat narapela i olsem Em. | Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the Lord he is God; there is none else beside him.

Na long ai bilong Em, Em i bringim yu i kamaut long Isip long strongpela pawa bilong Em. | And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt; |
