Bodi bilong mi i krai long Yu long hap graun i drai na i hangre long wara, na i no gat wara i stap long en. | O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; |
| 2 | Em i krai long lukim pawa bilong Yu na glori bilong Yu, olsem mi bin lukim Yu long ples holi. | To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. |
| 3 | ¶ Maus bilong mi bai i litimapim nem bilong Yu. Long wanem Yu laikim tru man na mekim gut long em, na dispela i winim laip. | Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. |

| 9 | Tasol man i wok long painim tewel bilong mi bilong bagarapim em, bai ol i go insait long ol hap daunbilo bilong dispela graun. | But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth. |
