| 1 | ¶ O God, Yu mas harim nek bilong mi long prea bilong mi. Yu mas lukautim laip bilong mi, long mi no ken pret long birua. | Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy. |
| 2 | Yu mas haitim mi long tok helpim i hait bilong man i nogut tru, na long tok bilong bagarapim bilong ol wokman bilong sin nogut. | Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity: |
| 3 | Ol i sapim tang bilong ol olsem bainat. Na ol i taitim ol banara bilong ol bilong sutim ol spia bilong ol, yes em ol tok i gat pait. | Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words: |
| 4 | Bai ol i ken i stap hait na sutim spia long man inap tru. Kwiktaim ol i sutim spia long em, na ol i no pret. | That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not. |
| 5 | Ol i strongim ol yet long pasin nogut. Ol i poroman wantaim long putim hait ol umben. Ol i tok, Husat bai i lukim ol? | They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them? |
| 6 | Ol i wok long painim ol sin pasin. Ol i wok strong long painim. Tingting bilong ol insait bilong olgeta wan wan bilong ol, na bel bilong em, tupela i daunbilo tru. | They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep. |

| 9 | Na olgeta man bai i pret. Na bai ol i tokaut long wok bilong God. Long wanem, long save tru bai ol i tingim na skelim wok bilong Em. | And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing. |
