| 2 | Yu mas putim ia long mi na harim mi. Mi krai taim mi gat tok na mi mekim nois. | Attend unto me, and hear me: I mourn in my complaint, and make a noise; |
| 3 | Long wanem, nek bilong birua i stap, na long wanem tok bilong ol man i nogut tru i stap long givim hevi long mi. Long wanem ol i tromoi sin nogut i kam long mi, na long belhat tru ol i no laikim tru mi. | Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me. |
| 4 | Bel bilong mi i pen nogut tru insait long mi. Na ol samting bilong i dai pinis i save pretim man, ol dispela i bin pundaun antap long mi. | My heart is sore pained within me: and the terrors of death are fallen upon me. |
| 5 | Pret na guria i bin i kamap long mi, na pret nogut tru i bin karamapim mi. | Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me. |
| 6 | Na mi bin tok, Mi laik long mi i gat wing olsem pisin balus! Sapos olsem bai mi flai i go na kisim malolo. | And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest. |

| 9 | ¶ O Bikpela, Yu mas bagarapim ol na brukim ol tang bilong ol. Long wanem mi bin lukim pasin bilong bagarapim narapela na tok pait insait long biktaun. | Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues: for I have seen violence and strife in the city. |
| 10 | Long san na long nait ol i wok long raun antap long ol banis bilong en. Raskol pasin na bel sori tu i stap namel long en. | Day and night they go about it upon the walls thereof: mischief also and sorrow are in the midst of it. |
| 11 | Pasin i nogut tru em i stap namel long en. Tok giaman na pasin giaman i no lusim ol rot bilong en. | Wickedness is in the midst thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streets. |

Sapos i stap olsem, mi bin haitim mi yet long ai bilong em. | For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him: |

| 15 | Dai pinis i ken kisim ol, na ol i ken i go daun kwiktaim long hel. Long wanem, pasin i nogut tru i stap long ol haus bilong ol na namel long ol. | Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them. |
| 16 | ¶ Tasol mi, bai mi singaut long God. Na BIKPELA bai kisim bek mi. | As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me. |

| 18 | Em i bin kisim bek tewel bilong mi Long bel isi long pait i birua long mi. Long wanem planti man i stap wantaim mi. | He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me. |
| 19 | God bai harim, na Em bai daunim ol. Yes, Man i stap bipo yet bai i mekim olsem. Sela. Long wanem ol i no save senis, olsem na ol i no pret long God. | God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God. |

Ol tok bilong en i malumalu moa long wel i malumalu, tasol ol i stap ol bainat man i kamautim pinis. | The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords. |
| 22 | Yu mas tromoi hevi bilong yu antap long BIKPELA, na bai Em i holimpas yu. Bai Em i no larim wanpela i mekim ol stretpela man i surik, nogat tru. | Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. |

Tasol bai mi bilip bilong mi long Yu. | But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in thee. |
