| 18 | We long en sampela Ju bilong Esia i lukim mi taim mi stap klin insait long tempel, i no wantaim bikpela lain tru, o wantaim bikpela paul nabaut. | Whereupon certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple, neither with multitude, nor with tumult. |

| 20 | O sapos nogat larim ol dispela stret hia tok, sapos ol i bin lukim wanpela pasin nogut insait long mi, taim mi sanap long ai bilong kaunsil, | Or else let these same here say, if they have found any evil doing in me, while I stood before the council, |
| 21 | Sapos em i no dispela wanpela nek, long mi singaut taim mi sanap namel long ol, Long sait bilong kirap bek long dai yupela i kotim mi tude. | Except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day. |
| 22 | ¶ Na taim Filiks i harim ol dispela samting, taim em i gat save i inap tru moa long dispela rot, em i mekim ol i wet, na tok, Taim nambawan kepten Lisias bai kam daun, mi bai save long las hap bilong samting bilong yupela. | And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge of that way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter. |
