¶ Na bihain long dispela bikpela paul nabaut i pinis, Pol i singautim i kam long em ol disaipel, na holimpas ol, na lusim hap bilong go long Masedonia. And after the uproar was ceased, Paul called unto him the disciples, and embraced them, and departed for to go into Macedonia.
Na taim em i bin go long olgeta hap bilong ol dispela hap, na em i bin givim ol planti toktok bilong strongim bel, em i kam long Gris, And when he had gone over those parts, and had given them much exhortation, he came into Greece,
Na stap long dispela hap tripela mun. Na taim ol Ju i wet hait long em, taim em i redi long ran long sip i go long Siria, em i wokim tingting long go bek namel long Masedonia. And there abode three months. And when the Jews laid wait for him, as he was about to sail into Syria, he purposed to return through Macedonia.
Na Sopatar bilong Beria i go wantaim em long Esia, na bilong ol lain Tesalonaika, Aristakas na Sekandas, na Gaias bilong Derbi, na Timotias, na bilong Esia, Tikikas na Trofimas. And there accompanied him into Asia Sopater of Berea; and of the Thessalonians, Aristarchus and Secundus; and Gaius of Derbe, and Timotheus; and of Asia, Tychicus and Trophimus.
Ol dispela i go paslain i wetim mipela long Troas. These going before tarried for us at Troas.
Na mipela i ran long sip i lusim Filipai bihain long ol de bilong bret i no gat yis, na kam long ol long Troas long faipela de, we mipela i stap sevenpela de. And we sailed away from Philippi after the days of unleavened bread, and came unto them to Troas in five days; where we abode seven days.
¶ Na long namba wan de bilong wik, taim ol disaipel i kam bung wantaim bilong brukim bret, Pol i autim tok long ol, taim em i redi long go long de bihain. Na em i go yet long toktok bilong em inap long belo biknait. And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
Na i gat planti ol lait long rum antap, we ol i bung wantaim. And there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together.
Na i gat i sindaun long wanpela windo wanpela yangpela man husat nem bilong em em Yutikas, taim em i slip dip tru. Na taim Pol i autim tok longpela taim, em i go daun isi isi wantaim slip, na pundaun i lusim namba tri hap antap, na ol i kisim daibodi bilong em. And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.
Na Pol i go daun, na pundaun antap long em, na taim em i holimpas em em i tok, No ken pilim wari long yupela yet. Long wanem, laip bilong em i stap yet insait long em. And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him.
Olsem na taim em i kam antap gen, na em i bin brukim bret, na kaikai, na toktok longpela taim, yes, inap long nupela de i bruk, olsem tasol em i go. When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.
Na ol i bringim dispela yangpela man i stap laip, na bel isi ol i kisim i no liklik. And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted.
¶ Na mipela i go paslain long sip, na ran long sip i go long Asos, long dispela hap mipela i gat laik long kisim Pol i kam insait. Long wanem, olsem tasol em i bin makim, taim em i gat tingting long em yet long wokabaut long lek. And we went before to ship, and sailed unto Assos, there intending to take in Paul: for so had he appointed, minding himself to go afoot.
Na taim em i bung wantaim mipela long Asos, mipela i kisim em i kam insait, na kam long Mitilini. And when he met with us at Assos, we took him in, and came to Mitylene.
Na mipela i ran long sip long dispela ples, na kam long de bihain pas klostu long Kaios. Na de bihain mipela i kamap long Samos, na stap yet long Trojiliam. Na de bihain mipela i kam long Mailetas. And we sailed thence, and came the next day over against Chios; and the next day we arrived at Samos, and tarried at Trogyllium; and the next day we came to Miletus.
Long wanem, Pol i bin pasim tok long em yet long ran long sip na abrusim Efesas, bilong wanem, em i no laik stap liklik taim long Esia. Long wanem, em i hariap, sapos em i gat rot long em, long stap long Jerusalem long de bilong Pentikos. For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost.
¶ Na long Mailetas em i salim tok long Efesas, na singautim ol lapun hetman bilong sios. And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.
Na taim ol i kam long em, em i tokim ol, Yupela i save, i stat long namba wan de mi kam insait long Esia, wanem kain pasin mi bin bihainim wantaim yupela long olgeta liklik taim, And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons,
Taim mi bihainim Bikpela wantaim olgeta daun pasin bilong tingting, na wantaim planti aiwara, na ol traim, dispela i kamap long mi taim ol Ju i wet hait. Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:
Na long mi no holim bek wanpela samting i gutpela bilong helpim yupela olsem wanem , tasol mi bin soim yupela, na mi bin skulim yupela long ai bilong ol man, na long haus i go long haus, And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,
Taim mi tokaut klia long ol Ju, na tu long ol Grik wantaim, long pasin bilong tanim bel i go long God, na pasin bilong bilip tru i go long Bikpela bilong yumi Jisas Kraist. Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
Na nau, lukim, mi go, insait long kalabus bilong spirit, long Jerusalem, na mi no save long wanem ol samting bai kamap long mi long dispela hap. And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:
Tasol mi save long Holi Spirit i givim witnes long olgeta wan wan biktaun, taim em i toktok long ol kalabus na ol taim hevi i wetim mi. Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.
Tasol i no gat wanpela bilong ol dispela samting i muvim mi, na tu mi no kaunim laip bilong mi dia long mi yet, inap long mi ken pinisim resis bilong mi wantaim amamas tru, na dispela wok, dispela mi bin kisim long Bikpela Jisas, long tokaut klia long gutnius bilong marimari bilong God. But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
Na nau, lukim, mi save long yupela olgeta, namel long husat mi bin go autim tok long kingdom bilong God, bai i no inap lukim pes bilong mi moa. And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.
Olsem na mi kisim yupela long witnes tude, long mi stap klin long blut bilong olgeta man. Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
Long wanem, mi no bin surik long tokaut long yupela long olgeta tok helpim bilong God. For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
Olsem na was gut long yupela yet, na long olgeta dispela lain sipsip, husat Holi Spirit i bin mekim yupela long stap ol bosman, bilong givim kaikai long sios long God, dispela em i bin baim wantaim blut bilong em yet. Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
Long wanem, mi save long dispela, long bihain long mi go ol strongpela wolf bai kam insait namel long yupela, na ol i no inap soim sori long dispela lain sipsip. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
Na tu bilong yupela yet bai ol man i kirap, na toktok long ol paul samting, long pulim i go ol disaipel i bihainim ol. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
Olsem na was, na holim tingting, long taim olsem tripela yia mi no lusim pasin bilong tok lukaut long olgeta wan wan man nait na san wantaim ol aiwara. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
Na nau, ol brata, mi putim yupela long han bilong God, na long tok bilong marimari bilong em, dispela em i inap long strongim yupela i go antap, na long givim long yupela wanpela samting papa i givim pikinini namel long ol olgeta husat i kamap holi pinis. And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
Mi no bin mangalim silva bilong wanpela man, o gol, o naispela klos. I have coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or apparel.
Yes, yupela yupela yet i save, long ol dispela han i bin wokim wok long ol nid bilong mi, na long ol husat i stap wantaim mi. Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.
Mi bin soim yupela olgeta samting, olsem long taim yupela i hatwok olsem yupela i ken helpim ol man i no gat strong, na bilong holim tingting long ol toktok bilong Bikpela Jisas, long em i tok olsem wanem, Blesing bilong givim i winim blesing bilong kisim. I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
¶ Na taim em i bin toktok olsem, em i brukim skru, na beten wantaim ol olgeta. And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all.
Na ol olgeta i krai tru strong tru, na pundaun antap long nek bilong Pol, na givim kis long em, And they all wept sore, and fell on Paul’s neck, and kissed him,
Taim ol i pilim bel hevi moa long olgeta samting long ol dispela toktok em i tok, long ol i no ken lukim pes bilong em moa. Na ol i go wantaim em long sip. Sorrowing most of all for the words which he spake, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship.
