| 7 | Na ol bai holimpas wok bilong em, na wok bilong bung bilong lain manmeri olgeta long ai bilong haus sel holi bilong bung bilong ol manmeri, long wokim wok wokboi bilong haus sel holi. | And they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of the congregation, to do the service of the tabernacle. |
| 8 | Na ol bai holimpas olgeta ol samting bilong wok bilong haus sel holi bilong bung bilong lain manmeri, na wok bilong ol pikinini bilong Isrel, long wokim wok wokboi bilong haus sel holi. | And they shall keep all the instruments of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle. |

Na ausait man husat i kam klostu bai ol i mekim i dai. | And thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall wait on their priest’s office: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death. |

Olsem na ol lain Livai bai bilong Mi. | And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that openeth the matrix among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites shall be mine; |

Olgeta wan wan man i stat long wanpela mun na i go antap bai yu kaunim ol. | Number the children of Levi after the house of their fathers, by their families: every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them. |
| 16 | Na Moses i kaunim ol bilong bihainim tok bilong BIKPELA, olsem Em i tok strong long em. | And Moses numbered them according to the word of the Lord, as he was commanded. |
| 17 | Na ol dispela em i ol pikinini man bilong Livai long ol nem bilong ol, Gerson, na Kohat, na Merari. | And these were the sons of Levi by their names; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari. |
| 18 | Na ol dispela em i ol nem bilong ol pikinini man bilong Gerson long ol famili bilong ol, Lipni, na Simei. | And these are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families; Libni, and Shimei. |
| 19 | Na ol pikinini man bilong Kohat long ol famili bilong ol, Amram, na Isehar, Hibron, na Usiel. | And the sons of Kohath by their families; Amram, and Izehar, Hebron, and Uzziel. |
| 20 | Na ol pikinini man bilong Merari long ol famili bilong ol, Mali, na Musi. Ol dispela em i ol famili bilong ol lain Livai bilong bihainim hauslain bilong ol tumbuna papa bilong ol. | And the sons of Merari by their families; Mahli, and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to the house of their fathers. |
| 21 | Bilong Gerson em i famili bilong ol lain Lipni, na famili bilong ol lain Simei. Ol dispela em i ol famili bilong ol lain Gerson. | Of Gershon was the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimites: these are the families of the Gershonites. |
| 22 | Ol dispela husat ol i kaunim bilong ol, bilong bihainim namba bilong olgeta man, i stat long wanpela mun na i go antap, yes, ol dispela husat ol i kaunim bilong ol em i 7,500. | Those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, even those that were numbered of them were seven thousand and five hundred. |
| 23 | Ol famili bilong ol lain Gerson bai sanapim ol haus sel baksait long haus sel holi i go long hap wes. | The families of the Gershonites shall pitch behind the tabernacle westward. |
| 24 | Na nambawan bilong hauslain bilong papa bilong ol lain Gerson bai stap Eliasap, pikinini man bilong Lael. | And the chief of the house of the father of the Gershonites shall be Eliasaph the son of Lael. |
| 25 | Na wok bilong ol pikinini man bilong Gerson insait long haus sel holi bilong bung bilong ol manmeri bai stap dispela haus sel holi, na haus sel, ol karamap bilong en, na hangamap bilong dua bilong haus sel holi bilong bung bilong ol manmeri, | And the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation shall be the tabernacle, and the tent, the covering thereof, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, |
| 26 | Na ol hangamap bilong ol ples op, na laplap banis bilong dua bilong ples op, dispela i stap klostu long haus sel holi, na klostu long alta raun nabaut, na ol rop bilong en bilong olgeta wok wokboi bilong en. | And the hangings of the court, and the curtain for the door of the court, which is by the tabernacle, and by the altar round about, and the cords of it for all the service thereof. |
| 27 | Na bilong Kohat em i famili bilong ol lain Amram, na famili bilong ol lain Isehar, na famili bilong ol lain Hebron, na famili bilong ol lain Usiel. Ol dispela famili em i ol famili bilong ol lain Kohat. | And of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, and the family of the Izeharites, and the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites. |
| 28 | Long namba bilong olgeta man, i stat long wanpela mun na i go antap, em i 8,600, i holimpas wok bilong rum holi. | In the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were eight thousand and six hundred, keeping the charge of the sanctuary. |
| 29 | Ol famili bilong ol pikinini man bilong Kohat bai sanapim ol haus sel long sait bilong haus sel holi i go long hap saut. | The families of the sons of Kohath shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle southward. |
| 30 | Na nambawan bilong hauslain bilong papa bilong ol famili bilong ol lain Kohat bai stap Elisafan, pikinini man bilong Usiel. | And the chief of the house of the father of the families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the son of Uzziel. |
| 31 | Na wok bilong ol bai stap bokis kontrak, na tebol, na ol stik kandel, na ol alta, na ol sospen samting bilong rum holi we ol i wokim wok long ol, na dispela hangamap, na olgeta wok wokboi bilong en. | And their charge shall be the ark, and the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and the vessels of the sanctuary wherewith they minister, and the hanging, and all the service thereof. |
| 32 | Na Eleasar, pikinini man bilong pris Eron, bai stap nambawan antap long nambawan bilong ol lain Livai, na i gat wok bilong bosim ol husat i holimpas wok bilong rum holi. | And Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be chief over the chief of the Levites, and have the oversight of them that keep the charge of the sanctuary. |

| 35 | Na nambawan bilong hauslain bilong tumbuna papa bilong ol famili bilong Merari em i Suriel, pikinini man bilong Abihail. Ol dispela bai sanapim ol haus sel long sait bilong haus sel holi i go long hap not. | And the chief of the house of the father of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail: these shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle northward. |
| 36 | Na aninit long lukaut na wok bilong ol pikinini man bilong Merari bai stap ol plang bilong haus sel holi, na ol ba bilong en, na ol bikpela pos bilong en, na ol soket bilong en, na olgeta sospen samting bilong en, na olgeta samting i bilong en, | And under the custody and charge of the sons of Merari shall be the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and the sockets thereof, and all the vessels thereof, and all that serveth thereto, |

Na ausait man husat i kam klostu, bai ol i mekim i dai. | But those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east, even before the tabernacle of the congregation eastward, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel; and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death. |

| 40 | ¶ Na BIKPELA i tokim Moses, Kaunim olgeta namba wan pikinini bilong ol man bilong ol pikinini bilong Isrel, i stat long wanpela mun na i go antap, na kisim namba bilong ol nem bilong ol. | And the Lord said unto Moses, Number all the firstborn of the males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names. |
| 41 | Na yu bai kisim ol pikinini man bilong Livai bilong Mi (Mi stap BIKPELA) long kisim ples bilong olgeta namba wan pikinini namel long ol pikinini bilong Isrel, na ol bulmakau samting bilong ol lain Livai long kisim ples bilong olgeta namba wan pikinini namel long ol bulmakau samting bilong ol pikinini bilong Isrel. | And thou shalt take the Levites for me (I am the Lord) instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel; and the cattle of the Levites instead of all the firstlings among the cattle of the children of Israel. |
| 42 | Na Moses i kaunim, olsem BIKPELA i tok strong long em, olgeta namba wan pikinini namel long ol pikinini bilong Isrel. | And Moses numbered, as the Lord commanded him, all the firstborn among the children of Israel. |
| 43 | Na olgeta namba wan pikinini man long namba bilong ol nem, i stat long wanpela mun na i go antap, bilong ol dispela husat ol i kaunim bilong ol, em i 22,273. | And all the firstborn males by the number of names, from a month old and upward, of those that were numbered of them, were twenty and two thousand two hundred and threescore and thirteen. |

Na ol lain Livai bai bilong Mi. Mi stap BIKPELA. | Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead of their cattle; and the Levites shall be mine: I am the Lord. |
| 46 | Na bilong ol dispela husat ol i mas baim bek bilong dispela 273 bilong ol namba wan bilong ol pikinini bilong Isrel, husat i stap moa long ol lain Livai, | And for those that are to be redeemed of the two hundred and threescore and thirteen of the firstborn of the children of Israel, which are more than the Levites; |
| 47 | Yes, yu bai kisim faipela sekel wan wan long namba bilong ol, i bihainim sekel bilong rum holi bai yu kisim ol. (Sekel em i 20 gera.) | Thou shalt even take five shekels apiece by the poll, after the shekel of the sanctuary shalt thou take them: (the shekel is twenty gerahs:) |
| 48 | Na yu bai givim mani, we long en namba bilong ol lain ol i mas baim bek i narapela, i go long Eron na long ol pikinini man bilong em. | And thou shalt give the money, wherewith the odd number of them is to be redeemed, unto Aaron and to his sons. |
| 49 | Na Moses i kisim mani bilong baim bek bilong ol husat i antap na i antap moa long ol husat ol lain Livai i baim bek. | And Moses took the redemption money of them that were over and above them that were redeemed by the Levites: |
