| 3 | I stat long 30 krismas na i go antap, yes, i go inap long 50 krismas, olgeta husat i go insait long ami, long wokim wok insait long haus sel holi bilong bung bilong ol manmeri. | From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation. |
| 4 | Dispela bai stap wok wokboi bilong ol pikinini man bilong Kohat insait long haus sel holi bilong bung bilong ol manmeri, nabaut long ol samting i holi moa olgeta. | This shall be the service of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation, about the most holy things: |
| 5 | Na taim kem i stat long go antap, Eron bai kam, na ol pikinini man bilong em, na ol bai rausim i go daun laplap bilong karamap, na karamapim bokis kontrak bilong testimoni wantaim dispela. | And when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of testimony with it: |
| 6 | Na ol bai putim antap long en karamap bilong ol skin bedja, na ol bai opim antap long en wanpela laplap i blupela olgeta, na ol bai putim ol stik bilong en long ples bilong ol. | And shall put thereon the covering of badgers’ skins, and shall spread over it a cloth wholly of blue, and shall put in the staves thereof. |

Na bret bilong oltaim bai stap antap long en. | And upon the table of shewbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover withal: and the continual bread shall be thereon: |
| 8 | Na ol bai opim antap long ol wanpela skalet laplap, na karamapim dispela stret wantaim wanpela karamap bilong ol skin bedja, na ol bai putim ol stik bilong en long ples bilong ol. | And they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put in the staves thereof. |
| 9 | Na ol bai kisim wanpela blupela laplap, na karamapim stik kandel bilong lait, na ol lam bilong en, na ol kapis bilong en, na ol dis bilong holim paia bilong em, na olgeta sospen samting bilong wel bilong en, we wantaim dispela ol i wokim wok i go dispela. | And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it: |
| 10 | Na ol bai putim dispela na olgeta sospen samting bilong en insait long wanpela karamap bilong ol skin bedja, na ol bai putim dispela antap long wanpela ba. | And they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put it upon a bar. |
| 11 | Na antap long alta gol ol bai opim wanpela blupela laplap, na karamapim dispela wantaim wanpela karamap bilong ol skin bedja, na ol bai putim ol stik bilong en long ples bilong ol. | And upon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put to the staves thereof: |
| 12 | Na ol bai kisim olgeta samting bilong wokim wok, we ol i wokim wok long rum holi wantaim ol, na putim ol long wanpela blupela laplap, na karamapim ol wantaim wanpela karamap bilong ol skin bedja, na ol bai putim ol antap long wanpela ba. | And they shall take all the instruments of ministry, wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put them on a bar: |
| 13 | Na ol bai tekewe ol sit bilong paia long alta, na opim wanpela purpelpela laplap antap long en. | And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon: |
| 14 | Na ol bai putim antap long en olgeta sospen samting bilong en, we ol i wokim wok nabaut long en wantaim ol, yes, ol dis bilong insens, ol huk bilong mit, na ol savol, na ol traipela dis, olgeta sospen samting bilong alta. Na ol bai opim antap long en wanpela karamap bilong ol skin bedja, na putim ol stik bilong en long ples bilong ol. | And they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister about it, even the censers, the fleshhooks, and the shovels, and the basons, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers’ skins, and put to the staves of it. |

Ol dispela samting em i hevi bilong ol pikinini man bilong Kohat insait long haus sel holi bilong bung bilong ol manmeri. | And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation. |

| 18 | Yupela no ken rausim lain bilong ol famili bilong ol lain Kohat i lusim ol lain Livai. | Cut ye not off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites: |
| 19 | Tasol yupela bai mekim olsem long ol, inap long ol i ken stap laip, na i no ken dai, taim ol i kam klostu i go long ol samting i holi moa olgeta. Eron na ol pikinini man bilong em bai go insait, na makim ol, olgeta wan wan, long wok wokboi bilong em na long hevi bilong em. | But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden: |
| 20 | Tasol ol no ken go insait long lukluk, taim ol i karamapim ol samting i holi, nogut ol i dai. | But they shall not go in to see when the holy things are covered, lest they die. |
| 21 | ¶ Na BIKPELA i tokim Moses, i spik, | And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |
| 22 | Kisim tu namba olgeta bilong ol pikinini man bilong Gerson, namel long ol hauslain bilong ol tumbuna papa bilong ol, long ol famili bilong ol. | Take also the sum of the sons of Gershon, throughout the houses of their fathers, by their families; |

Olgeta husat i go insait long wokim wok wokboi, long mekim wok long haus sel holi bilong bung bilong ol manmeri. | From thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to perform the service, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation. |
| 24 | Dispela em i wok wokboi bilong ol famili bilong ol lain Gerson, long wokim wok wokboi, na bilong ol hevi. | This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, to serve, and for burdens: |
| 25 | Na ol bai karim ol laplap banis bilong haus sel holi, na bilong haus sel holi bilong bung bilong ol manmeri, karamap bilong en, na karamap bilong ol skin bedja, dispela i stap antap long en, na hangamap bilong dua bilong haus sel holi bilong bung bilong ol manmeri, | And they shall bear the curtains of the tabernacle, and the tabernacle of the congregation, his covering, and the covering of the badgers’ skins that is above upon it, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, |
| 26 | Na ol hangamap bilong ples op, na hangamap bilong dua bilong dua bilong banis bilong ples op, dispela i stap klostu long haus sel holi na klostu long alta raun nabaut, na ol rop bilong ol, na olgeta samting bilong wok wokboi bilong, na olgeta samting ol i wokim bilong ol. Olsem tasol bai ol i wokim wok wokboi. | And the hangings of the court, and the hanging for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and all that is made for them: so shall they serve. |

Na yupela bai makim i go long ol long wok, olgeta hevi bilong ol. | At the appointment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burdens, and in all their service: and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burdens. |

Na wok bilong ol bai stap aninit long han bilong Itamar, pikinini man bilong pris Eron. | This is the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest. |

| 30 | I stat long 30 krismas na i go antap, yes, i go inap long 50 krismas bai yu kaunim ol, olgeta wan wan husat i save go insait long wok wokboi, long mekim wok bilong haus sel holi bilong bung bilong ol manmeri. | From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shalt thou number them, every one that entereth into the service, to do the work of the tabernacle of the congregation. |
| 31 | Na dispela em i tok strong bilong ol hevi bilong ol, bilong bihainim olgeta wok wokboi bilong ol long haus sel holi bilong bung bilong ol manmeri, ol plang bilong haus sel holi, na ol ba bilong en, na ol bikpela pos bilong en, na ol soket bilong en, | And this is the charge of their burden, according to all their service in the tabernacle of the congregation; the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and sockets thereof, |
| 32 | Na ol bikpela pos bilong ples op raun nabaut, na ol soket bilong ol, na ol pin bilong ol, na ol rop bilong ol, wantaim olgeta samting bilong mekim wok, na wantaim olgeta wok wokboi bilong ol. Na long nem yupela bai kaunim ol samting bilong wok bilong tok strong bilong hevi bilong ol. | And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by name ye shall reckon the instruments of the charge of their burden. |
| 33 | Dispela em i wok wokboi bilong ol famili bilong ol pikinini man bilong Merari, bilong bihainim olgeta wok wokboi bilong ol, long haus sel holi bilong bung bilong ol manmeri, aninit long han bilong Itamar, pikinini man bilong pris Eron. | This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the tabernacle of the congregation, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest. |
| 34 | ¶ Na Moses na Eron na ol nambawan bilong bung bilong ol manmeri i kaunim ol pikinini man bilong Kohat i bihainim ol famili bilong ol, na i bihainim hauslain bilong ol tumbuna papa bilong ol, | And Moses and Aaron and the chief of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites after their families, and after the house of their fathers, |
| 35 | I stat long 30 krismas na i go antap, yes, i go inap long 50 krismas, olgeta wan wan husat i go insait long wok wokboi, long wok long haus sel holi bilong bung bilong ol manmeri. | From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation: |
| 36 | Na ol dispela husat ol i kaunim bilong ol long ol famili bilong ol em i 2,750. | And those that were numbered of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred and fifty. |
| 37 | Ol dispela em i ol husat ol i kaunim bilong ol famili bilong ol lain Kohat, olgeta husat i ken wokim wok wokboi long haus sel holi bilong bung bilong ol manmeri, dispela Moses na Eron bin kaunim bilong bihainim tok strong BIKPELA long han bilong Moses. | These were they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, which Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the Lord by the hand of Moses. |
| 38 | Na ol dispela husat ol i kaunim bilong ol pikinini man bilong Gerson, namel long ol famili bilong ol, na long hauslain bilong ol tumbuna papa bilong ol, | And those that were numbered of the sons of Gershon, throughout their families, and by the house of their fathers, |

| 40 | Yes, ol dispela husat ol i kaunim bilong ol, namel long ol famili bilong ol, long hauslain bilong ol tumbuna papa bilong ol, em i 2,630. | Even those that were numbered of them, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers, were two thousand and six hundred and thirty. |
