| 3 | Na Moses i tokim ol manmeri, i spik, Redim long pait sampela bilong yupela yet bilong redi long bikpela pait, na larim ol i go birua long ol lain Midian, na bekim pe nogut bilong BIKPELA long Midian. | And Moses spake unto the people, saying, Arm some of yourselves unto the war, and let them go against the Midianites, and avenge the Lord of Midian. |

Belam tu, pikinini man bilong Beor, ol i kilim i dai wantaim bainat. | And they slew the kings of Midian, beside the rest of them that were slain; namely, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian: Balaam also the son of Beor they slew with the sword. |

| 12 | Na ol i bringim ol kalabus, na prais bilong pait, na ol kago bilong pait, i go long Moses, na pris Eleasar, na i go long bung bilong ol manmeri bilong ol pikinini bilong Isrel, i go long kem long ples stret bilong Moap, dispela i stap klostu long Jordan klostu long Jeriko. | And they brought the captives, and the prey, and the spoil, unto Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and unto the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the camp at the plains of Moab, which are by Jordan near Jericho. |

| 16 | Lukim, ol dispela i mekim ol pikinini bilong Isrel, long tok helpim bilong Belam, long mekim pasin bilong sakim lo i birua long BIKPELA long samting bilong Pior, na i gat wanpela sik nogut namel long bung bilong ol manmeri bilong BIKPELA. | Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the Lord in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the Lord. |
| 17 | Olsem na nau kilim i dai olgeta wan wan man namel long ol liklik pikinini, na kilim i dai olgeta wan wan meri husat i bin save long man taim em i slip wantaim em. | Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. |
| 18 | Tasol olgeta meri pikinini, husat i no bin save long wanpela man taim em i slip wantaim em, larim ol i stap laip bilong yupela yet. | But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves. |
| 19 | Na yupela i mas stap ausait long kem sevenpela de. Husat man i bin kilim i dai wanpela man, na husat man i bin tasim wanpela husat ol i kilim i dai pinis, klinim yupela yet na ol kalabus bilong yupela wantaim long namba tri de, na long namba seven de. | And do ye abide without the camp seven days: whosoever hath killed any person, and whosoever hath touched any slain, purify both yourselves and your captives on the third day, and on the seventh day. |
| 20 | Na klinim olgeta klos bilong yupela, na olgeta samting ol i wokim long ol skin, na olgeta samting ol i wokim long gras bilong meme, na olgeta samting ol i wokim long diwai. | And purify all your raiment, and all that is made of skins, and all work of goats’ hair, and all things made of wood. |
| 21 | Na pris Eleasar i tokim ol man bilong bikpela pait husat i go long dispela pait, Dispela em i lo God i makim bilong lo, dispela BIKPELA i tok strong long Moses. | And Eleazar the priest said unto the men of war which went to the battle, This is the ordinance of the law which the Lord commanded Moses; |

Na olgeta samting i no inap stap long paia, yupela bai mekim i go namel long wara. | Every thing that may abide the fire, ye shall make it go through the fire, and it shall be clean: nevertheless it shall be purified with the water of separation: and all that abideth not the fire ye shall make go through the water. |
| 24 | Na yupela bai wasim ol klos bilong yupela long namba seven de, na yupela bai stap klin, na bihain long en, yupela bai kam insait long kem. | And ye shall wash your clothes on the seventh day, and ye shall be clean, and afterward ye shall come into the camp. |
| 25 | ¶ Na BIKPELA i tokim Moses, i spik, | And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |

| 27 | Na brukim prais bilong pait i go long tupela hap, namel long ol husat i kisim bikpela pait antap long ol, husat i go ausait long pait, na namel long olgeta bung bilong ol manmeri. | And divide the prey into two parts; between them that took the war upon them, who went out to battle, and between all the congregation: |
| 28 | Na kirapim wanpela takis i go long BIKPELA long ol man bilong bikpela pait husat i go ausait long pait, wanpela tewel bilong 500, bilong ol manmeri, na bilong ol bulmakau, na bilong ol donki, na bilong ol sipsip wantaim. | And levy a tribute unto the Lord of the men of war which went out to battle: one soul of five hundred, both of the persons, and of the beeves, and of the asses, and of the sheep: |
| 29 | Kisim dispela bilong namba tu hap bilong ol, na givim dispela i go long pris Eleasar, bilong wanpela ofa bilong litimapim i go long BIKPELA. | Take it of their half, and give it unto Eleazar the priest, for an heave offering of the Lord. |
| 30 | Na bilong namba tu hap bilong ol pikinini bilong Isrel, yu bai kisim wanpela hap skel bilong 50, bilong ol manmeri, bilong ol bulmakau, bilong ol donki, na bilong ol lain sipsip, bilong olgeta kain animal, na givim ol i go long ol lain Livai, husat i holimpas wok bilong haus sel holi bilong BIKPELA. | And of the children of Israel’s half, thou shalt take one portion of fifty, of the persons, of the beeves, of the asses, and of the flocks, of all manner of beasts, and give them unto the Levites, which keep the charge of the tabernacle of the Lord. |

| 37 | Na takis bilong BIKPELA bilong ol sipsip em i 675. | And the Lord’s tribute of the sheep was six hundred and threescore and fifteen. |

| 41 | Na Moses i givim takis, dispela em i ofa bilong litimapim bilong BIKPELA, i go long pris Eleasar, olsem BIKPELA i tok strong long Moses. | And Moses gave the tribute, which was the Lord’s heave offering, unto Eleazar the priest, as the Lord commanded Moses. |
| 42 | Na bilong namba tu hap bilong ol pikinini bilong Isrel, dispela Moses i brukim i lusim ol man husat i wokim bikpela pait, | And of the children of Israel’s half, which Moses divided from the men that warred, |
| 43 | (Nau dispela namba tu hap i bilong bung bilong ol manmeri em i 337,500 sipsip, | (Now the half that pertained unto the congregation was three hundred thousand and thirty thousand and seven thousand and five hundred sheep, |

| 45 | Na 30,500 donki, | And thirty thousand asses and five hundred, |

| 49 | Na ol i tokim Moses, Ol wokboi bilong yu i bin kisim namba olgeta bilong ol man bilong bikpela pait husat i stap aninit long wok bilong mipela, na i no gat wanpela man bilong mipela i sot. | And they said unto Moses, Thy servants have taken the sum of the men of war which are under our charge, and there lacketh not one man of us. |
| 50 | Olsem na mipela i bin bringim wanpela ofa bilong BIKPELA, wanem samting olgeta wan wan man bin kisim, bilong ol bilas i dia tru bilong gol, ol sen, na ol paspas, ol ring, ol ring bilong ia, na ol bilas taplet, long wokim wanpela karamapim long mekim i kamap wanbel bilong ol tewel bilong mipela long ai bilong BIKPELA. | We have therefore brought an oblation for the Lord, what every man hath gotten, of jewels of gold, chains, and bracelets, rings, earrings, and tablets, to make an atonement for our souls before the Lord. |
| 51 | Na Moses na pris Eleasar i kisim gol bilong ol, yes, olgeta bilas i dia tru ol man i wokim. | And Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of them, even all wrought jewels. |
| 52 | Na olgeta gol bilong ol ofa, dispela ol i ofaim i go long BIKPELA, bilong ol kepten bilong ol tausen, na bilong ol kepten bilong ol handret, em i 16,750 sekel. | And all the gold of the offering that they offered up to the Lord, of the captains of thousands, and of the captains of hundreds, was sixteen thousand seven hundred and fifty shekels. |
