| 2 | Sapos wanpela man i wokim wanpela strongpela promis i go long BIKPELA, o wokim wanpela strongpela promis long pasim tewel bilong em wantaim strongpela promis, em i no ken brukim tok bilong em, em bai mekim bilong bihainim olgeta samting i kam ausait long maus bilong em. | If a man vow a vow unto the Lord, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth. |

| 4 | Na papa bilong em i harim strongpela promis bilong em, na strongpela promis bilong em we em i bin pasim tewel bilong em long en, na papa bilong em bai pasim maus bilong em long em, orait olgeta strongpela promis bilong em bai sanap, na olgeta wan wan strongpela promis we em i bin pasim tewel bilong em long en bai sanap. | And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand. |

Na BIKPELA bai lusim sin bilong em, bilong wanem, papa bilong em i tok nogat long em. | But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the Lord shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her. |

Na BIKPELA bai lusim sin bilong em. | But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the Lord shall forgive her. |

| 11 | Na man bilong em i harim dispela, na pasim maus bilong em long em, na i no tok nogat long em, orait olgeta strongpela promis bilong em bai sanap, na olgeta wan wan pasim we em i pasim tewel bilong em long en bai sanap. | And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand. |

Na BIKPELA bai lusim sin bilong em. | But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the Lord shall forgive her. |

| 16 | Ol dispela em i ol lo ol i raitim, dispela BIKPELA i tok strong long Moses, namel long wanpela man na meri bilong em, namel long papa na pikinini meri bilong em, taim em i stap yangpela yet insait long haus bilong papa bilong em. | These are the statutes, which the Lord commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father’s house. |
