| 3 | Na em i salim ol wokboi bilong em ausait long singautim ol husat em i askim long kam long marit. Na ol i no laik kam. | And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. |

Kam long dispela marit. | Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. |

Na em i salim ol ami bilong em i go ausait, na bagarapim olgeta ol dispela man bilong kilim man, na kukim biktaun bilong ol olgeta. | But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. |

Na marit i gat ol manmeri ol i askim. | So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. |

Long dispela hap bai i gat pasin bilong krai tru na pasin bilong kaikaim ol tit. | Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. |

| 15 | ¶ Nau ol Farisi i go, na kisim tok helpim long ol i ken paulim em nabaut insait long toktok bilong em olsem wanem. | Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk. |
| 16 | Na ol i salim i go ausait long em ol disaipel bilong ol wantaim ol lain bilong Herot, i spik, Tisa, mipela save long yu stap trupela, na yu save skulim ol manmeri long rot bilong God long pasin i tru, na tu yu no wari long wanpela man. Long wanem, yu no tingim namba bilong ol man. | And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men. |

Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Cesar the things which are Cesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s. |

| 29 | Jisas i bekim na tokim ol, Yupela i paul, taim yupela i no save long rait bilong God, o pawa bilong God. | Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. |
| 30 | Long wanem, long kirap bek ol i no marit, o givim long marit, tasol ol i stap olsem ol ensel bilong God long heven. | For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. |

| 32 | Mi stap God bilong Ebraham, na God bilong Aisak, na God bilong Jekop? God em i no God bilong ol daiman, tasol bilong ol man i stap laip. | I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. |

| 35 | Nau wanpela bilong ol, husat i wanpela masta kot, i askim em wanpela askim, na traim em, na tok, | Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, |

| 37 | Jisas i tokim em, Yu bai laikim tru Bikpela, God bilong yu, wantaim olgeta bel bilong yu, na wantaim olgeta tewel bilong yu, na wantaim olgeta tingting bilong yu. | Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. |
