¶ Na taim ol i go klostu long Jerusalem, na kam pinis long Betfagi, i go long maunten bilong ol Oliv, nau Jisas i salim tupela disaipel, | And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,
Na tokim ol, Go insait long vilis i pas klostu long yupela, na kwiktaim yupela bai lukim wanpela donki ol i pasim, na pikinini donki wantaim em. Lusim tupela, na bringim ol i kam long mi. | Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.
Na sapos wanpela man i tokim yupela long wanpela samting, yutupela bai tok, Bikpela i gat nid long ol. Na kwiktaim em bai salim ol i kam. | And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.
Olgeta dispela i kamap, inap long em i ken inapim dispela samting profet i toktok, i spik, | All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,
Yupela tokim pikinini meri bilong Saion, Lukim, King bilong yu i kam long yu, man bilong pasin isi, na em i sindaun antap long donki, na wanpela pikinini, pikinini bilong donki. | Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.
Na dispela tupela disaipel i go, na mekim olsem Jisas i tok strong long ol, | And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,
Na bringim dispela donki, na pikinini donki, na putim ol klos bilong ol antap long ol, na ol i putim em antap long en. | And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.
Na wanpela traipela lain tru i opim ol klos bilong ol long rot. Ol arapela i katim i go daun ol han bilong ol diwai, na tromoi ol nabaut long rot. | And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.
Na ol dispela bikpela lain tru husat i go paslain, na husat i kam bihain, i singaut, i spik, Hosana i go long Pikinini Man bilong Devit. Blesing i stap long em husat i kam long nem bilong Bikpela. Hosana i antap moa olgeta. | And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.
Na taim em i kam insait long Jerusalem, olgeta dispela biktaun i kirap, i spik, Dispela em i husat? | And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?
Na dispela bikpela lain tru i tok, Dispela em i Jisas, profet bilong Nasaret bilong Galili. | And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.
¶ Na Jisas i go insait long tempel bilong God, na rausim i go ausait ol olgeta husat i salim na baim insait long tempel, na kapsaitim ol tebol bilong ol man bilong senisim mani, na ol sia bilong ol husat i salim ol balus long mani, | And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
Na tokim ol, Rait i stap pinis, Ol bai kolim haus bilong mi haus bilong prea. Tasol yupela i bin mekim em i kamap hul bilong ol stilman. | And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
Na ol aipas na ol lek nogut i kam long em insait long tempel. Na em i oraitim ol. | And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.
Na taim ol bikpris na ol man bilong rait i lukim ol dispela samting i pulap bilong winim tingting em i mekim, na ol pikinini i singaut insait long tempel, na tok, Hosana long Pikinini Man bilong Devit, dispela i bagarapim amamas bilong ol tru. | And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David; they were sore displeased,
Na ol i tokim em, Yu harim wanem samting ol dispela i toktok? Na Jisas i tokim ol, Yes. Ating i yes long yupela bin ritim, Ausait long maus bilong ol bebi na ol susu bebi yu bin inapim tru pasin bilong litimapim nem? | And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?
Na em i lusim ol, na go ausait long biktaun i go long Betani. Na em i stap long dispela hap. | And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there.
¶ Nau long moning, taim em i go bek insait long biktaun, em i hangre. | Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.
Na taim em i lukim wanpela diwai fik long rot, em i kam long en, na luksave olsem i no gat samting long en, ol lip tasol, na em i tokim diwai, No ken larim kaikai i go bikpela antap long yu i stat long nau i go inap long oltaim oltaim. Na klostu nau diwai fik i go drai olgeta. | And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.
Na taim ol disaipel i lukim dispela, ol i tingting planti, i spik, Kwiktaim tru dispela diwai fik i go drai olgeta! | And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!
Jisas i bekim na tokim ol, Tru tumas, mi tokim yupela, Sapos yupela i gat bilip tru, na yupela i no gat tupela tingting, yupela bai i no inap mekim dispela samting mi mekim long diwai fik tasol, tasol tu sapos yupela bai tokim dispela maunten, Yu lusim hia, na tromoi yu yet i go long biksi, em bai kamap olsem. | Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
Na olgeta samting, wanem samting yupela bai askim long prea, taim yupela i bilip, yupela bai kisim. | And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
¶ Na taim em i kam insait long tempel, ol bikpris na ol lapun hetman bilong ol manmeri i kam long em taim em i skulim ol manmeri, na tok, Yu gat wanem namba bilong bosim na yu mekim ol dispela samting? Na husat i givim yu dispela namba bilong bosim? | And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?
Na Jisas i bekim na tokim ol, Mi tu bai askim yupela wanpela samting, dispela sapos yupela i tokim mi, mi bai tokim yupela wankain olsem long mi gat wanem namba bilong bosim na mi mekim ol dispela samting. | And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.
Baptais bilong Jon, em i kam long we? Long heven, o long ol man? Na ol i wok long stretim tok wantaim ol yet, i spik, Sapos yumi bai tok, Long heven, em bai tokim yumi, Bilong wanem nau yupela i no bin bilipim em? | The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?
Tasol sapos yumi bai tok, Long ol man, yumi pret long ol manmeri. Long wanem, olgeta i holim Jon olsem wanpela profet. | But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.
Na ol i bekim Jisas, na tok, Mipela i no inap tokaut. Na em i tokim ol, Na tu mi bai i no inap tokim yupela long wanem namba bilong bosim mi wokim olgeta dispela samting. | And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.
¶ Tasol yupela i ting wanem? Wanpela man i gat tupela pikinini man. Na em i kam long namba wan, na tok, Pikinini man, go wok tude long gaden wain bilong mi. | But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.
Em i bekim na tok, Mi no laik. Tasol bihain long en em i tanim bel, na go. | He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.
Na em i kam long namba tu, na tok wankain olsem. Na em i bekim na tok, Mi go, bikman. Na em i no go. | And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.
Husat bilong dispela tupela i bin mekim laik bilong papa bilong em? Ol i tokim em, Namba wan. Jisas i tokim ol, Tru tumas, mi tokim yupela, Long ol man bilong kisim takis na ol pamuk meri i go insait long kingdom bilong God bipo long yupela. | Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.
Long wanem, Jon i kam long yupela long rot bilong stretpela pasin, na yupela i no bilipim em. Tasol ol man bilong kisim takis na ol pamuk meri i bilipim em. Na yupela, taim yupela i bin lukim dispela, yupela i no tanim bel bihain long en, inap long yupela i ken bilipim em. | For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.
¶ Harim narapela tok piksa. I gat wanpela papa bilong haus, husat i planim wanpela gaden wain, na banisim dispela wantaim liklik bus raun nabaut, na digim wanpela ples bilong masin bilong krungutim wain insait long en, na wokim wanpela taua, na larim ol man bilong lukautim gaden lukautim long pe, na em i go long wanpela longwe kantri. | Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:
Na taim taim bilong kaikai i redi i kam klostu, em i salim ol wokboi bilong em long ol man bilong lukautim gaden, inap long ol i ken kisim ol kaikai bilong en. | And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.
Na ol man bilong lukautim gaden i kisim ol wokboi bilong em, na paitim paitim wanpela, na kilim narapela, na tromoi ston i kilim narapela. | And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.
Na gen, em i salim ol arapela wokboi moa long namba wan taim. Na ol i mekim long ol wankain olsem. | Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.
Na las long olgeta em i salim pikinini man bilong em long ol, i spik, Ol bai givim biknem long pikinini man bilong mi. | But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.
Tasol taim ol man bilong lukautim gaden i lukim dispela pikinini man, ol i toktok namel long ol yet, Dispela em i pikinini i kisim samting long papa. Kam, yumi kilim em, na larim yumi kisim samting papa i givim pikinini bilong em wantaim pait pasin. | But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.
Na ol i holimpas em, na tromoi em i go ausait long gaden wain, na kilim em i dai. | And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.
Olsem na taim bikman bilong dispela gaden wain i kam, em bai mekim wanem long ol dispela man bilong lukautim gaden? | When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?
Ol i tokim em, Em bai bagarapim nogut tru olgeta ol dispela man nogut, na em bai larim ol arapela man bilong lukautim gaden lukautim gaden wain bilong em long pe, husat bai bekim long em ol kaikai long ol taim bilong ol. | They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.
Jisas i tokim ol, Ating em i yes long yupela i bin ritim dispela rait bilong God, Dispela ston ol man bilong wokim haus i tok nogat olgeta long en, em yet i kamap het bilong kona, dispela em i wok bilong Bikpela, na em i wok i mekim ol man i tingting planti long ai bilong mipela? | Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
Olsem na mi tokim yupela, God bai tekewe kingdom bilong God long yupela, na givim long wanpela kantri i karim ol kaikai bilong en. | Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
Na husat man bai pundaun antap long dispela ston bai bruk. Tasol antap long husat man em bai pundaun, em bai krungutim em i kamap paura. | And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
Na taim ol bikpris na ol Farisi i bin harim ol tok piksa bilong em, ol i kisim save long em i toktok long sait bilong ol. | And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.
Tasol taim ol i painim rot long putim ol han long em, ol i pret long dispela bikpela lain tru, bilong wanem, ol i kisim em olsem em i wanpela profet. | But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.
