¶ Na ol i kam hapsait i go long arapela sait bilong biksi, i go long hap graun bilong ol lain Gadara. And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.
Na taim Em i kam ausait long sip, wantu wanpela man i gat wanpela spirit i no klin i kam ausait long ol matmat i bungim Em, And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,
Husat i gat ples bilong sindaun bilong em namel long ol matmat. Na i no gat man i ken pasim em, nogat, i no wantaim ol sen. Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:
Bilong wanem, long planti taim ol i bin pasim em wantaim ol samting bilong pasim lek na ol sen, na em i bin brukim ol sen long ol hap, na ol samting bilong pasim lek i bruk long ol liklik hap. Na tu i no gat wanpela man i ken mekim em long sindaun isi. Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.
No olgeta taim, nait na san, em i stap long ol maunten, na long ol matmat, na singaut, na katim em yet wantaim ol ston. And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.
Tasol taim em i lukim Jisas longwe, em i ran na lotuim Em, But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,
Na singaut wantaim bikpela nek, na tok, Mi gat wanem samting wantaim Yu, Jisas, Yu Pikinini Man bilong God i antap olgeta? Mi tok strong long Yu long God, long Yu no givim traipela pen long mi. And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.
Long wanem, Em i tokim em, Kam ausait long dispela man, yu spirit i no klin. For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.
Na Em i askim em, Wanem nem bilong yu? Na em i bekim tok, i spik, Nem bilong mi em Lijon. Long wanem, mipela i planti. And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.
Na em i askim Em long daun pasin planti long Em i no inap salim ol i go ausait long dispela hap graun. And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.
Nau i gat long dispela hap klostu long ol maunten, wanpela bikpela lain pik i kaikai. Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding.
Na olgeta spirit nogut i askim Em long daun pasin, i spik, Salim mipela i go insait long ol pik, inap long mipela i ken go insait long ol. And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.
Na wantu Jisas i tok orait long ol. Na ol spirit i no klin i go ausait, na go insait long ol pik. Na dispela lain pik i ran wantaim pasin pait i go daun long ples i maunten tru i go long biksi, (ol i klostu olsem 2,000,) na biksi i pasim nek bilong ol. And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.
Na ol husat i givim kaikai long ol pik i ranawe, na toksave long dispela insait long biktaun, na long dispela hap graun. Na ol i go ausait long lukim dispela samting Em i mekim em wanem. And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done.
Na ol i kam long Jisas, na lukim em husat dispela spirit nogut i bin holimpas, na i bin gat dispela lijon, i sindaun, na werim klos, na tingting bilong em i stap stret. Na ol i pret. And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.
Na ol husat i lukim dispela i tokim ol long em i kamap olsem wanem long em husat spirit nogut i bin holimpas, na tu long sait bilong ol pik. And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine.
Na ol i stat long askim Em plis long i go ausait long ol hap arere bilong ol. And they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts.
Na taim Em i kam insait long sip, em husat dispela spirit nogut i bin holimpas i askim Em plis long em i ken stap wantaim Em. And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him.
Tasol Jisas i no larim em, tasol Em i tokim em, Go long haus bilong yu long ol pren bilong yu, na tokim ol long ol bikpela samting moa Bikpela i bin mekim bilong helpim yu, na long Em i bin gat pasin sori long yu. Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.
Na em i lusim Em, na stat long mekim i kamap ples klia long Dekapolis ol bikpela samting moa Jisas i bin mekim bilong helpim em. Na olgeta man i bin tingting planti. And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.
¶ Na taim Jisas i go hapsait gen long sip long arapela sait, planti manmeri i bung long Em. Na Em i stap klostu long biksi. And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea.
Na, lukim, i gat i kam wanpela bilong ol hetman bilong sinagog, Jairas em i nem bilong em. Na taim em i lukim Em, em i pundaun long tupela lek bilong Em, And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet,
Na askim Em long bikpela daun pasin, i spik, Liklik pikinini meri bilong mi i stap klostu tru long dai. Mi askim Yu plis, kam na slipim tupela han bilong Yu antap long em, inap long em i ken kamap orait gen. Na em bai stap laip. And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.
Na Jisas i go wantaim em. Na planti manmeri i bihainim Em, na pas klostu strong long Em. And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him.

Taim em i bin harim stori long Jisas, em i kam long baksait insait long ol man i pas pas tumas, na tasim klos bilong Em. When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.

Na kwiktaim ai bilong wara i sut bilong blut bilong em i go drai. Na em i pilim insait long bodi bilong em long em i kamap orait gen long dispela sik nogut. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
Na Jisas, wantu Em i save insait long Em Yet long gutpela strong i bin go ausait long Em, na Em i tanim nabaut insait long ol man i pas pas tumas, na tok, Husat i tasim klos bilong Mi? And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?
Na ol disaipel bilong Em i tokim Em, Yu luksave long bikpela lain tru i pas klostu strong long Yu, na Yu tok, Husat i tasim Mi? And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?

Na Em i tokim em, Pikinini meri, bilip tru bilong yu i bin mekim yu orait olgeta. Go wantaim bel isi, na stap orait olgeta long sik nogut bilong yu. And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

Long taim stret long Jisas i harim dispela tok ol i toktok, Em i tokim hetman bilong sinagog, No ken pret, bilip tasol. As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.
Na Em i no larim wanpela arapela man i ken bihainim Em, Pita tasol, na Jems, na Jon, brata bilong Jems. And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.
