And they were offended at him. |
| 4 | Tasol Jisas i tokim ol, Profet i no sot olgeta long ona, long hap bilong em yet tasol, na namel long ol kandre bilong em, na insait long hauslain bilong em yet. | But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. |

Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city. |

| 26 | Na king i sori planti moa yet. Tasol bilong tingim strongpela promis bilong em, na bilong tingim ol husat i sindaun wantaim em, em i no inap tok nogat olgeta long em. | And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath’s sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her. |

Na ol i tokim Em, Mipela bai go na baim bret long 200 peni, na givim ol bilong kaikai? | He answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, Shall we go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread, and give them to eat? |
