Ol i tok long nem bilong Yu i go long ol king bilong mipela, na ol hetman bilong mipela, na ol papa bilong mipela, na long olgeta manmeri bilong dispela hap graun. | Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. |

Dispela i go long ol man bilong Juda, na long ol manmeri bilong Jerusalem, na long olgeta Isrel, ol husat i stap klostu na i stap longwe, long olgeta kantri Yu bin ranim ol i go long ol, na as bilong dispela em i ol pasin bilong sakim lo ol i bin mekim long birua long Yu. | O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee. |

Long wanem i no gat wanpela samting aninit long heven i bin kamap olsem i bin kamap long Jerusalem. | And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem. |

Olsem na save gut long dispela samting, na tingim na skelim dispela samting olsem driman. | At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision. |
